 Princess Marina
Marina held onto Brandon until she was somewhat stable on her new feet. She looked up at Brandon and smiled a little. He really was good looking, for a land walker. She wondered what he would look like as a merman. What color would his tail be? Probably blue like his eyes.
“Am I interrupting something?” she asked as she pointed over to the ship that seemed to be waiting on someone. Perhaps their king was going somewhere? “Is it really okay for you to be helping me?”

King Brandon"Keep a steady pace & you'll come through fine."I was going to go on a journey to the mainland to search for someone that can become my queen, Marina. You're welcome to accompany me if you like on my quest & you're not interrupting anything at all. Brandon explained to Marina what was going on with him. Are you able to walk? Brandon then spoke to the person who was waiting for him on the ship. I'll leave once I feel that I'm ready to do so. Right now, there's someone who needs my help. Understood, majesty! We can depart anytime you're ready once we've loaded up. It may take a while, or we can postpone the trip if you like. Brandon turned toward his men. Hold off on the trip for now, men. Brandon then turned back towards Marina. I'm going to take a few steps back, Marina. Once I do so, be sure to take a few steps forward with me. Brandon held Marina's hands as he took a few steps back. If leave to go on my quest now, you may be left all alone & I can't just leave you alone by yourself. Brandon said this in a caring tone but blushed slightly red as he was helping Marina. She was very beautiful both ways as a mermaid or as a human girl to him. Maybe his quest could be over already before it has begun without him realizing it? Once you learn how to walk, Marina, you'll be able to a lot of things with human legs and feet. Such as dancing, jumping, running and so-on. The possibilities are endless. Brandon was always happy to lend a helping hand to his, subjects and friends, and Marina was the first visitor he's ever hand on his Magical island. Beyond this beach, there's some grass, tress and the route to my home, Castle Kyrandia, Marina. By the way, I'm 20 years old.

“Oh,” Marina said quietly. She took look at the ship and then glanced at the storm over the water. “Your quest seems important… but would you make it? I mean that storm is even terrorizing marine life. I can only imagine the fish and whales in that horrible storm…”
She looked up at Brandon. She watched his legs as he moved. She didn’t know how he was moving. She looked down at her own legs. Did she have to tell them to move forward? Was it the same as learning to swim? She sighed a little. She didn’t know if she could move her legs at all.
“I don’t know how to make them work…” she said quietly. “I can dance and jump. I love doing flips in the air. Can you do flips on land?” She noticed he was getting further away from her. Her foot slid across the sand, then her other foot slid too. She moved, but she wasn’t exactly walking. “I’m… how do you say it… seventeen?”

To walk, you just need to lift one of your legs in front of the other then move the other leg in front of it by moving forward. But you have to take it slowly of course until you're used to walking. Brandon explained to Marina how to walk on human legs and feet. Marina, I'm sure you'll learn to walk in no time at all. Once you've mastered walking, I can show you the castle. As for my quest, I'm sure that I can do it. Brandon smiled toward Marina and his cheeks were light red while blushing, he didn't realize it at the time, but he maybe falling in love with the mermaid turned human girl even though he just met her a couple of minutes ago, once she gets all cleaned up and given some proper clothes, she would look beyond beautiful like a princess from a dream. Marina, that's a lovely flower you're wearing, what kind of flower is it? I like Lavender Roses, they're often a sign of enchantment and love at first sight.

Marina nodded as she looked down at her legs. She slowly lifted one foot and took a small step towards Brandon. Then she took another until the space between them was gone. She smiled a little as she looked back up at Brandon. She had taken her first few steps. If only her sister could see her.
“I did it!” she said, smiling. “Are you okay? Your cheeks are red. Are you too hot?”

Brandon held Marina's hand then escorted her to Castle Kyrandia, once they arrive at the Castle, Brandon was greated by his Grandfather. Welcome back, my grandson. And who's this beautiful young lady with you?Marina, this is my Grandfather, Kallak. Kallak, this is Marina. She's 17 years old.Its an honor to meet you, Marina. I'm Kallak, Brandon's Grandfather. You can stay here for as long as you like. We have a spare bed chamber for you to use. Kallak offered to shake Marina's hand in kindness. He maybe Brandon's grandfather but he was also the Head of the Order of Royal Mystics.

“Blushing?” Marina raised her eyebrow a little. Was he embarrassed by something? She couldn’t quite figure it out. She walked with Brandon to his castle. It was bigger then she had thought. Even her castle back home wasn’t nearly as big, but Ocenea wasn’t that big of a place, to begin with. Her mother often spoke about expanding, but there was the Seals and the Orcas to deal with. So the expansion project would just have to wait.
“Hello sir,” Marina said politely. She looked at Kallak’s hand, not really sure what she was supposed to do with it. This was a new concept for her. “I’m sorry sir, but I don’t…. understand…”

Hold out your hand toward his then take it and move your arm up and down then let go. Brandon explained to Marina what a handshake was since it was all new to her, and since Brandon was blushing toward Marina meant that he's taken a liking to her. Its going to be alright, Marina.

Marina took Kallak’s hand and shook it. Humans had weird customs. One she noticed was staring at people. Her in particular. She looked down at herself. She still had her mermaid top, but her tail was gone. All she had was a short red skirt, her pink belt that was being held together by her starfish pendant, and her strand of golden pearls that was wrapped around her left ankle. She was starting to feel very self-aware that she was different from everyone else. She wrapped her arms around herself.
“If you say so…”

I have a meeting to get to with some other Mystics; the Brandywine, Zanthia & Brynn And with that Kallak takes his leave to the Royal Library where the others were waiting for him. *exit Kallak* Marina, my caretaker will take care of you in a sweet way. Linda? Brandon called for his caretaker, who showed up after cleaning the Throne Room, her name was Linda, she had long brown hair with pink tips tied in a bun and blue eyes with black glasses. She wears a long tight blue thigh-high dress with white ruffles and puffy shoulders. She wears a red bow with a blue gem in the center and a white and yellow hat. She has a brown belt with a mid-thigh yellow skirt-like sash on her left hip and black thigh-high tights. She wears open-toed brown and white boots with a fold over yellow top. Yes, Majesty?This is Marina. Marina, this my caretaker of Castle Kyrandia, Linda. Brandon turned toward his caretaker, she was really nice. Please show her the royal bathroom so that she can be cleaned up. After she's all cleaned up, perhaps you can find a room for her as well as some fresh clothes. After that, she can join me for something to eat. In the meantime, I'll be in the dining room.Linda nodded to what Brandon said. Marina, Please follow me to the royal bathroom. You'll be able to take a bath there and get cleaned up real nice, as well as getting you some nice clothes for you to wear.

“Um… okay…” Marina followed Linda through the castle. She wasn’t sure where she was going or what she should be doing. After a brief explanation on how things worked, Marina was left alone in the bathroom. The pool that was called a tub was already filled for her. She removed what little she was wearing, placing everything in a neat bundle on the counter, and climbed into the tub. The water was hotter then she was used to, but it felt nice. Like one of those hot springs that some merfolk went to relax at. She looked over to the different bottles of strange liquids. If she understood correctly, humans used them to wash their hair. Beside the bottles were the blocks of soap. She picked one up that was in the shape of a sea shell. It reminded her of home.
She sat in the tub until Linda returned to help her.

LindaLinda returned to the bathroom with a soap brush and wash cloth. Marina, I'm going add some bubble bat mix in the bath. Shall we begin? Linda got out a soap brush then applied some body wash after adding it with some soap to it then began to scrub Marina's body with the soap brush after adding the bubble bath mix then noticed a piece of seaweed in the tub and removed it. Marina, is this your first time taking a bath? Linda smiled then applied shampoo+conditioner to wash Marina's hair clean from the seawater that was in her hair. Marina, could you lift your legs and feet up so I could wash them next? Linda asked nicely to Marina.

“I’m a mermaid,” Marina said as she looked up at Linda. “Why would I need to take a bath when I live in water?” She started to miss home. She wondered if Brandon would let her return home. She lifted her leg for Linda and frowned. “I was a mermaid…”

LindaLinda began to wash Marina's legs and feet with the soap brush. Marina, that's amazing. This may tickle a bit. As Linda scrubbed Marina's legs, she eventually has the soap brush reached her feet. That's interesting that you were once a mermaid. How did you become human and ended up here in Kyrandia? Anyway, humans take baths and showers to keep themselves clean and to take care of their bodies. Linda explained why baths and showers are important to humans as its part of something called hygiene. As for your dirty clothes, they'll need to be washed as well. Linda paused for a moment and placed Marina's mermaid top as well as her short red skirt into a hamper so that they can be washed later then continued to wash Marina until she smelled fresh & cleaned up. When I saw you were with King Brandon in the foyer. I noticed that he was blushing. Maybe he's taken a liking to you. I'll have you know that I was there when Brandon threw a celebration in which he would invite all the maidens of the realm of marriagable age, and choose the one he felt should be queen. Sadly, he found no one.
