"Every stitch tells a story. Most of them you don't want to know."

Stitch "Culus"
Student Rotavele

He took tons of notes during class, trying to catch most everything that was said. He could go back later and highlight his notes to pick out what was most important, though that was still sort of hard for him because he felt that if his dad had said it, then it had to be important. Frankly, he was glad when they moved from the lecture part into the dissection. Not that he would begrudge a lecture, but he was better with hands on learning. Plus, he performed dissections on himself rather frequently, so it was sort of second nature, though having all of the blood and formaldehyde to deal with was a little gross. Nothing he couldn't handle, parts of it seemed oddly...familiar, but he shoved that notion out of his mind, it would not make him worthy. Most of what he did was handling tools and keep things out of the way, but...he did get to hold an organ and touch a few more, so that always made him happy. Even this was not enough to make him forget that he was going to need his dad's help real soon.

Once class was over, he quickly got Seiji's attention and quietly whispered to him, "I need to talk with you privately as soon as everyone leaves, please?" It wasn't the most descriptive request, but he didn't want other people to hear what was going on, and he was sure that his Dad would make time for him, he was a good person like that. He was nervous the whole time as other students left. The missing organs were not harming him, though having cloth pajamas in his abdomen was getting a little itchy. Oh geez how was he going to explain the mess he had gotten himself into?

"When cries for help go unanswered
And signal fires just burn and burn
We wonder if we're waiting here for nothing
Cause our lips are sewn our ears are filled
With the constant drone of the unfulfilled
But we'll never fall if we stand for something
We stand for something"

When Rebecca answered the question, the teacher nod his head and told her it was correct before he started going into detail on enzymes in venom, and how different ones effect the body. Including how one in particular killed a person within 30 minutes. Let us hope that no one comes into contact with a kind cobra in the middle of nowhere. Cholinesterase, the enzyme which attacks the nervous system, relaxing muscles to the point where the victim has very little control. Amino acid oxidase which plays a part in digestion and the triggering of other enzymes. Phospholipases, an enzyme which catalyses reactions that harm musculature and nerves. He went on for some time, explaining and showing these enzymes on the powerpoint for everyone to see. He wasn't sure if it could be considered death by powerpoint, but he would like to hope that maybe someone found all of this fascinating like he did. Science and biology, the human body and how it reacted to things...it was truly fascinating to him. And sometimes he wondered if that was being wasted by teaching teenagers who barely show up on time. One in particular who climbed in through a window and received a point look from the teacher. But he was in the middle of his lecture and didn't want to bother with it.

Once his lecture on venom and what they do to the body was done, he segwayed into his lecture on peculiarities in the medical industry. he share different information on past heroes known for their healing capabilities and how they were different from one another. To demonstrate, he took a knife and a bottle of water before he cut himself open and used the water to demonstrate a form of healing. After that, he went on to talk about some emergency medical heroes, like one in particular who had recently saved people from a burning building. No one of course, knew the real name of the hero, but the alias was Kikazaru. If people payed attention, they might find that information to be important. One thing he noted about the hero, was that he remained calm and alert of his surroundings, making sure he was aware of his own capabilities so he didn't become a liability or hurt others.

Once he finished that portion of his lecture, now came the fun part. The bodies. He wheeled in the cadavers one at a time, before instructing all the students to come closer to watch him work. He made careful incisions on the body, before using the correct tools to keep the opening pried apart. As he would pick up the utensil, eh would explain how to use it and what you mainly want to use it for, or what not to do with it. He would start by pointing to different section of the organs inside. Starting with the skeletal system, which provided protection for the organs inside of it. One section of which was the digestive system that consisted of the pancreas, gallbladder and the liver. And then he moved towards the head of the body after he took out each organ and explained their function, before placing it back in. A tidbit he shared, was that when someone received a head injury, like a concussion, you never want to make them stand or remove any head gear they are wearing. Once the skull was opened and he took out the brain, he told them about the different sections of the brain. The cerebrum, the brain stem and the cerebellum. As well as the function of the right side opposed to the left.

After that, he opened up the cancer patient to show what kind of damages could be done by cancerous viruses in the body. Healthy organs vs destroyed organs. Before he knew it, the bell was ringing as he was placing the last organ inside. He managed to make it through everything.

"Your homework is on my desk. Please grab a sheet on your way out. If you were paying attention, you should be receiving an A on your assignment."

As he was cleaning up his station with water and pushing the bodies aside, he looked to Stitch who whispered to him. His hands pulled off his gloves as he looked at him questioningly.

    "Is something wrong?"

He asked his dutiful assistant, who was a big help in his demonstration of all the organs today. He was pleased that someone had volunteered to help him so he didn't have to do it alone. He didn't mind the body or digging in to get some organs out, but it was easier to do things with two hands while someone else helped.

    Jesse "Heartbreaker" Barnes

Whose in love with me: ___ l With: His Classmates l Activity: Getting ready for class l Status: Healthy l Relationship Status: Single

Jesse had spent a lot of time in class quietly taking notes as he made sure to give his full attention to their professor. He had his notebook out as he made sure to copy every single thing that Seiji said that sounded even mildly important. Despite his appearance that might suggest that he was a slacker Jesse was actually rather studious and made sure to fill out the work when he needed too. Once the body came out Jesse would admit that it was rather strange to see a real dead body up close but he would easily shake off his discomfort as the Professor resumed the lesson. By the time he'd finished up all his notes the bell rang which caused Jesse to smile a little bit and stretch out with a groan. Well that was productive! Jesse would stroll up and take a sheet of homework from the desk up front before sticking it in his bag, this probably wouldn't be too hard considering the notes he'd taken today. He'd then begin his stroll down the hallway as he now had something else in mind, to find his roommate! Jesse needed to thank him for making this lunch in the only way he knew how!

He was so nervous, he barely even heard the comment that they had homework. Even when he was asked if everything was ok, he waited a moment to make sure that no one else was near enough to overhear them. ”Um…I…I need your help with something…” Oh geez this was so embarrassing! He had been dreading this moment for most of the class, well, except during the dissection, he had been much too riveted to get distracted. That said, he had been comparing himself to the cadavers that they looked through; his looked more like the healthy cadaver at least in regards to structure, but the coloration and texture were not similar. It made Stitch question himself once again. While he was waiting, he went ahead and grabbed the homework so that he could work on it tonight after work. For that matter, while he was waiting for people to leave, he started working on it. Once the room had cleared out, he approached his father once again. "W-well...um..." he took a deep breath and charged through what he needed to say. "This morning I wanted to study some so I dissected myself, but I didn't want to be late so I set a timer. It startled me and the organ I was holding flew across the room and another one flopped out and when I went to get them everything shifted and I didn't want to be late, and I couldn't get them back in..." Oh man, that sounded just as bad as he thought it would! Even worse, his Dad might actually worry! For Stitch, going without a few organs for a while didn't mean much, but for most people it was a bad thing. What if his Dad thought it might be harmful or painful to him and worried for even a second!? No! That was the worst ever! And then once he got done being worried about him, he would be mad. Stitch felt like such a failure even though he was trying to be so good.

Going off the fact that Stitch waited for everyone to leave, it seemed as though he had something pretty important to share with Seiji. So he waited until he was comfortable enough to come up to him and share what was so important. As they student explained to him in a rush sentence what happened, Seiji blinked. It took a few seconds to process the information, but he reached for a fresh pair of gloves.

"Next time, tell me right away alright? That could have seriously become a problem if you waited far too long. Did you bring the organs with you? I can put them back into place if you did. If not, we need to retrieve them immediately."

Considering that Stitch was such a rare case, Seiji wasn't really sure just how long he could last without his organs. And since Seiji had no clue which organs were missing...there was almost a sense of urgency in his voice. They really needed to get those organs back into place so Stitch didn't have any complications. The last thing he wanted, was to lose someone that was very close to him in a situation he had no power to change. He hated being powerless in any situation.

Sliding on his gloved, Seiji started setting up his cleaned tools in case he needed them before he started to clear off his desk. It wasn't ideal to put Stitch on one of the beds with the cadavers on them. He doubt Stitch would want the chemicals they use to get on the back of his shirt. Though he also felt like Stitch wouldn't really care or register it as something bad. The kid really was a mystery.

"If you have them, give them to me and then remove your shirt before lying down on the desk."

This situation would probably looking strange to any other person who didn't know Stitch's peculiarity, but he doubt that he would see it coming out to be a problem for him. Ander would know what he was doing for Stitch if he saw. Because unfortunately...losing body parts is a common thing for the kid.

Oh no, it was exactly what he had been fearing: worry. His dad was calm and collected like always, but he could definitely detect a hint of worry to his voice. He took the admonishment obediently, with hung head and downcast eyes. Well, he was probably going to get unadopted now, but no point in making him even more mad. "I brought them with me." He ran over to his bag and pulled out the ziplock bag of organs, holding it up so Seiji could see they were still perfectly intact. He gave a quizzical look as Seiji started pulling out various tools, and even started shaking a little when he saw a scalpel. That was the benefit of Stitch being, well, Stitch: you could do most any medical procedure on him without the use of tools. Most everything came apart and stayed open on its own, the only thing he couldn't remove or gain access to was his brain. He brought the organ bag over to Seiji. "One kidney and one gallbladder, sir. Those were the only things that fell out." The organs looked like perfectly healthy, dry, bloodless plastic models, save that they were squishy as an organ should be. Given the urgency of the situation, or at least the urgency that Seiji seemed to feel, Stitch didn't bother with taking off each layer of his overly complex school uniform; instead, he just popped an arm off, moved the whole top layer past that empty socket, stuck the arm back on, then did the same for the other arm. With everything gathered around his neck, he took a deep breath, then popped his head off and threw everything off before quickly setting his head back in place. Fortunately he had been quick enough that he didn't feel any ill effects; the first time he had popped his head off, by the time it was back on, his heart was beating erratically and he had ended up fainting.

He didn't want to admit it, but he really appreciated getting to be on the desk and not one of the cadaver tables. It wasn't so much the chemicals or the chill of the table, but the idea of being right next to a corpse and opened up just like them...it made him wonder what differences there were between them. "I...I can open myself up, you don't need to use the scalpel, please." His nightmares had given him a bit of a fear of knives. It was one thing to know they were sharp and could cut you, it was another to see yourself chopped up tens of thousands of times in dozens of different ways. Just like he had earlier this morning, he put a hand on either side of the giant stitching running down his abdomen, and pulled gently. The skin and muscles divided cleanly as if he had been made that way, revealing a perfectly neat and tidy abdominal cavity save for the balled up clothing in there. "Oh, I put a shirt in the extra space, so stuff didn't slide around too much." At least the "surgery" would be fairly easy: all Seiji needed to do was line up the organs and give them a gentle push once they were in place, and they would reattach themselves just like weak magnets.

He couldn't help but smile at the enthusiasm the two had. It was pumping him up even if it wasn't the best sport. Strawberry eyes looked over at Dajante when he spoke specifically to him. "We got this." He said with a confident edge to his voice--instead of his typical soft neutral tone. Then Saren made her way in. She didn't look up for doing anything physical. He wasn't surprised when the teacher questioned her. Hwan was the next one to roll in--just to pass out. Was he sick as well? "Okay." He gave his short response and hurried out the door while assuming Dajante was with him.

They stopped by the nurse's office first, but no one was there. Perhaps busy with someone else. No time to speculate. Yoshiro would have attempted to heal him himself if there were any obvious wounds. He didn't notice any though. Now they were on their way to Seiji's room. Someone he might have been stealthy avoiding since the incident during field day. It wasn't as if he'd turn and run off whenever he saw him. That'd be too obvious. Not to mention the fact they worked together. It didn't mean he had to interact with the guy all the time. Just when needed. It was fine. As long as the teacher didn't bring it up.

Yoshiro knocked on the door before slowly opening it. "Mr. Koyanagi?" He questioned as he took a step into the room before his eyes found him. As he made his way over he explained the situation. "We need you to come to the gym. Hwan fainted and the nurse is out." He said matter-of-factly. Yoshiro didn't need to lead him to the person in question. He knew where to go. That's why he merely followed him instead. Answering any questions if Dajante didn't first.

Hell yeah they did! Even if Yoshiro started to struggle, Dajanté would be sure to give it his all in keeping the ball from ever reaching Jesse's team. When the pride was on the line, nothing stood in his way.

Except for sudden pass outs, it seemed. Just when the teacher had made the game official, too (Saren serving as a swap out for both teams, which would've been totally cool with Dajanté)! Ya gotta be kiddin' me, Dajanté grunted, crossing his arms as the instructor hauled a** over to the student that recently waddled on in. At first, the teen thought the sudden arrival would've been perfect for their odd numbers, but then the poor dude flopped over. Janté felt bad for the guy, but at the same time, perhaps the boy should've stayed in bed if he didn't feel good. Hope it ain't heat exhaustion," Janté frowned, staring after them.

But then Mr. Amsel charged Yoshiro and him with alerting Dr. Koyanagi, instantly reminding him of a certain incident during the field day exercise. He never expected to come full circle at the end of the month, during yet another activity (although it was a class in this case). Dajanté might've protested if Yoshiro hadn't already run off, leaving him with no choice but to chase after. Man, so much for the challenge, he internally cursed during his jog. "I got you next time, Jesse man, jus' you wait!" The bell was due to ring during their little side trip, so he figured he might as well let the guy know what was up.

While Dajanté was hardly fazed from the run to Dr. Koyanagi's station, Yoshiro appeared to be all-for talking with the man, so he just let him have it and fanned out his shirt in the meantime. "Yosh p much covered it all, doc," Dajanté stated matter-of-factly after Yoshiro's spiel, shrugging before the teen suddenly turned on his heel, immediately heading back toward the gym. The hell? the weather-wielder thought, jerking his head to slightly gawk after him.

Didn even wait for de man. Dajanté looked back to Dr. Koyanagi with raised brows, but turned to follow Yoshiro a second later in silence, scratching his chin along the way. Granted, Dajanté didn't know a whole lot about Yoshiro, but he observed the man enough over the course of the month to figure how he normally acted, and his stiff treatment of the doctor certainly struck as odd behavior to Dajanté.

Wonder what beef he got with the doc...
