The soothing rings of Kagerou's bell cut through the chill, night air as the scarlet-eyed kunoichi observed that Arashi's center of religious activities was dyed double crimson by the light of the moon and the blood spilled throughout it. Though, if Kagerou were to believe every rumor and conspiracy that was said about this place, it was actually one of the most shadiest parts of the village, where the most devoted to suspicious causes flocked. Well, whether or not that was true was near impossible to tell. Blood and carnage had bled each of its usually distinct divisions into one. It had even wiped off on Kagerou. Though she had done nothing but travel, her shoes, the hems of her dress, her hands, and even the edges of her green hair all had traces of blood. It had been so plentiful as to be unavoidable.
On one hand, Kagerou was horrified, to the point that her smile had completely dropped at time, and even now, she could only muster the smallest of smiles as she observed the district. It looked peaceful-ish... for now. That was some good news. Though, that wasn't going to last for very long. Bastet and Hailee were bound to get here soon, and in prime condition to send these werewolves into a blood frenzy.
On the other hand, Hakuna Matata. Kagerou was fighting with everything against her own newly acquired taste for blood. However, quick to adapt as ever, she'd gotten accustomed to picking and choosing her fights over the course of the journey here. As a result, she felt less stiff but more... wolf-like. Kagerou could be seen sniffing more frequently, and she'd been using her hands to travel a lot more than usual.
Right now, in particular, when faced with the dilemma on searching for a man she knew close to nothing about, several different thoughts crossed through her head. A few questions to bounce off of Toso, but Toso wasn't here yet. That was all the human side of her had to offer. Her werewolf side, however, had the brilliant idea of howling for information, and well... Kagerou figured... Why not?
She took in a deep inhale of the blood laden night and, raising her head, sung it all out with a uncanny, melodic howl, both warm and eerie. Coming straight from the belly of a singer, it was definitely a howl that traveled far. Although, Kagerou wasn't sure what, if anything, she said through the howl. She tried to instill in it the feeling that she was searching for the perpetrator but, like, truth be told, she wasn't really sure what she was doing. It was basically just... wolf side of her wanted to try, so she tried because she had nothing better to try. Although, if her furiously wagging tail was any sign, if there was one thing to be gained from that howl, it was that wolf side of Kagerou was feeling very happy about it. Even the human side... felt a little better after getting to vocalize like that. She would have never thought that howling would be such a good outlet. The more you know. [4/6 Comfort Song]

tabAt the peak of Kagerou's awooo she would discover that from overhead a large drill like spiral of force would come down descending in a lobbed arc. One that kept spinning even after it made contact with ground somewhat nearby grinding it before it eventually calmed and when it finally did it would have been revealed to be Toso. Although his arms and other limbs seemed to have gotten themselves knotted together. "I haven't been having what I would call a pleasant experience. blood...down." The tentamutts were attempting to detangle themselves what with the two larger parents seemingly rife with anticipation towards the entrance of the temple. If he had the ability to he would have made a distinguishable wince following this command of his appendages towards Kagerou. "Not quite discreet letting loose an invitation for others to kill you blood." He was of course referring to her howl which in turn had now led to a predictable chain reaction from varying distances. But of course stealth wasn't in their nature now. What with being mutts and all. Such things were the tricks of the other creatures bred in the night.

Was that what her howl sounded like it was saying? "Come kill me now?" Well, she couldn't help that. Kagerou could only smile at Toso's admonishment... if... it was an admonishment. Expressions were always difficult to read on Toso's face, especially now that it was completely covered in fur, and at the moment, his tentacles were too occupied being puppers. He could be right. He could be wrong. They could only wait and find out, and that was, in it's own way, also something of value to come out of the howl.
While Kagerou mulled in thought to give Toso time to unknot his body, howls came from all sides, echoing Kagerou's call. Somewhere in the distance, the crashes and collisions of massive destruction could be heard. On one hand, that was to be expected, but on the other hand, the sounds were coming from more than one direction, at least two. If it was another high ranking nin running rampant then... Kagerou could only pray for the safety of them and those around them as well. She smiled, worried by these two matters but keeping her spirits up even now.
Then, quite out of the blue, Toso opened up to her. About four sentences into his self-reflection, Kagerou realized the personal gravity of what Toso spoke of and turned to look at him. Her smile welcomed as it always did, even as her eyes puzzled at this unexpected turn of events. She let Toso talk, though, and she listened attentively. Well, as attentively as one could while in the middle of a pack of hungry wolves. Then, when he tried to brush it off, Kagerou encouraged him to open up some more, "No. That was interesting. I'd like to hear some more," while keeping their current circumstances in mind, "But later, preferably in my office at the hospital... when it isn't destroyed." Not to mention, at the moment, Kagerou wasn't sure if she could handle someone else's psychological burden when her own psyche was so occupied fighting against primal instincts.
As she spoke, Kagerou wiped her hands on her dress, taking off as much of the now mainly dried blood as she could. She continued to wipe them on her dress as she spoke her thoughts on their current task to Toso. "So Toso, I'd like to know what you think. Currently, we're looking for a stranger somewhere in this district. I'm thinking he won't be outside and I'm thinking he'll be someplace he can see the moon from. Thoughts?". [5/6 Comfort Song]

"Wake the hell up!" Jay shouted loud enough that he could almost be heard over the boom and crackle. The rumble that caused wolfen and civilian both to pause and shield their ears from the sound. A bolt of lightning, strong and ferocious enough to have legitimate claim to have lose from the bow of god himself streaked across the sky. At the center of it's crest as it tore over the temples was Jeon, also shrouded in the cloak of the demon. For all his worth, Jay was trying to knock sense into his other half, and it was showing to be fruitless. His body was battered due to him not being able to brawl like he normally could... but his casting was in tact unlike Jeon. Whatever was behind this had split their power down the middle, and it was more than a little irritating. But as he coughed up blood from his perch atop a golden staff, he was aware of the line of blood below where Jeon was sailing into the temple: she was in no better shape. With Magni on his back, he took to chasing after her, ignoring the chaos below him. With every step he worried for the monks and other worshipers. He had thrashed a path that took the two of them along the outer ring of the village, away from the Drop District. He puffed hot air out of his nostrils, angry THunder God persona intact.
A shrill screech snapped him to attention, and in that moment of distraction, Jeon was on him. A shield bashed the side of his skull, stunning him as the rim cracked his skull lightly, and then a knee slammed his jaw shut. In the moment of dissonance he was taken bby the waist some how. Jeon had kept her battle sense intact, and the worlds best scrapper flung him masterfully through the closed doors of the temple, rolling to a stop between the cloaked figure and his sister as his wounds slowly healed. Blood turned to black ichor, bleeding into his cloak and coloring it dark. Visceral was the image of the Arashikage suddenly...
{Enter from Drop District} With coat, backpack, and as a furry yellow mess Unki had managed her way to somewhere by the howling song. She wasn't sure how to explain she determined her way here other than by her hearing. What looked like the end of a walkway was what Unki determined as an entry way of some means. The terrain only looked as ominous as the howling calls from earlier with the "light" from the red moon. She hesitated to go further mostly out of the need to rest and backed into a space jutting from the mountain wall.

The gentle fluttering of fabric would interrupt the pair of wolf-nin as Bastet emerged behind them. Her masked visage would scan the horizon for a brief moment as she searched for the genin whom she had previously goaded into joining along with the ride. A little twinge of guilt lodged itself deep within Shion's psyche, beginning its barrage on her conscience. Hailee hadn't gotten lost on the way, had she? Toso did say she reminded him of Shion at that age... and that was NOT a good thing. Hopefully she could take care of herself; the last thing the group needed was a broken pair of ribs to deal with.
Shion would take a moment to clear her head of doubt, to recollect her thoughts before battle. Okay... think, think. What's the first thing she should do in this situation? The compound was rather large, and their target was a singular person. It would take them forever to find them unless... oh, duh. With the vaguest foundations of a plan in her mind, Shion shifted her gaze to Toso and Kagerou. "Alright listen up, We need to fan out and search the entire district. Our target could be any-" Her orders would be abruptly cut off by the sounds of combat the likes of which only the nearly-godlike Kages could muster. Jagged crashes of lightning and explosions that would make even the little firecracker Shion jealous rang out through the central compound. That classic Shion brand rage began to build up and spill forth as the situation worsened. Her bakuton chakra mixed with the nibi's, turning the small blasts around her hands that usually accompanied Shion's tantrums a deep blue. "Of course! Why the hell would this be easy! Oh, sure Mr and Mrs psychotic Kage twins, please do waltz right in and make this harder for us. It's not like we're trying to save the damn village or anything!" If her demeanor and banter wasn't enough to tip the group off to her identity, her sudden outburst certainly would have done the trick.
Shion's tirade would have gone on for who knows how long had it not been for the glint of something dark and mysterious peaking out from the temple. Apparently, the commotion caused by the warring kages was enough to draw out the party's target. "Okay okay okay, we can work with this. I just need to..." As the girl mumbled to herself, she produced a knife from beneath her cloak and quickly slashed at her own palm and slapped it against the ground. A large puff of smoke consumed the trio for a brief second before dispersing. Where there had once been three ninja now stood three ninja and a giant white tiger. "What is it, little cub? What quarry do you have to offer me?" The beast's voice boomed with the commanding presence of a king and was matched only by his regal posture. "Hey Ukukwala, buddy..." Shion began, nudging the tiger's side. "You see that temple over there? You see that shadowy figure over there?" The tiger-king would simply respond with a knowing grunt. "Well, they've thrown this whole village into chaos, bending dozens of ninja to their will". Ukukwala let out an exasperated sigh. "Little cub, the matters of your village are not-" He'd begin scolding his summoner only to find himself quickly cut off by her. "They even brought the Kages to heel..." Now this... this is the challenge Ukukwala lived for. A force strong enough to bring even one of the legendary Kages to the level of prey? "Yes... I think this prey is suitable. You've done well, little cub." Shion would grin beneath her mask, turning to face the other two. "Alright kiddos, y'all ready?"
FINALLY arriving at the temple, Hailee stopped to catch her breath for the moment, not taking note of any surroundings yet. She had gotten lost multiple times on the way, but walked back and forth trying to figure out the direction to go. Needless to say, that took way too long and she practically ran circles a lot. Thankfully, Amorette woke up in the nick of time, and helped guide her in the right direction while she tried to sniff the scents of the others. If not for her fox friend, she probably would of never even made it. Glancing around and taking in all the sights, the huge landscape and all, and than taking note of where she was after finally feeling her heart stop racing from all that running, she'd spotted Kagerou, Toso, and Bastet, possibly a few others. So now, they were in deep search for the culprit? It'd be a lot easier if they had the persons scent, but you take what you can get. Judging from her bad timing but taking a educated guess, it seemed everyone was ready pounce, to be fair she was lost and confused now what was even happening. All she could do was wait patiently and see what happens, yet as always remaining on high guard.

tabWhen the twin kages decided to go crashing in again with further destruction expected of them, Tosokurui's tentadoggos backed off fleeing the area in where they once so confidently barked. Only to have been followed up by the arrival of 'totally not Shion' going off on tirade. Kagerou's intrigue earlier would then be replied to with a. "Well, blood if you don't much feel the same It seems moot to talk about, seeing I will likely feel as I did before when this comes to pass blood." In these moments the pitter patter of panting and peds signaled the arrival of the last of the original group. Seeing as there were no sensors among them Unki would likely continue to go unnoticed and her affiliation of whether or not she would prove friend or foe would remain a mystery. Soon after some mumbling to herself the 'not shion' would then cut herself immersing the rest of the group in a smoke only to have a furious looking feline stand where the smoke cleared. Exhuming a sigh, the art of summoning was something that he as a fuuin user was something that should have come naturally but unfortunately his stubbornness to stick to the ancient blood pacts of his clan kept other options closed off to him. Seeing as the Cephalopods as a whole had kept silent, likely waiting for the shinobi to get their s**t together what with their recent influx of wars and infighting they desired to not take part in.
tabKagerou's comforting song was starting to wear off, and in that Toso was growing all the more impatient though this was well hidden behind the way he held himself in a constant state of stoicness. At the 'totally not shion's' claim of asking if they were ready he'd reply rather dryly. "I believe as far as ages go. I'm no kiddo. blood." It was at this point Toso was deducing what use he could be in this scenario. The lack of opposable digits would make his skills at Bukijutsu troublesome, additionally his lack of true control over his main limbs was just as troublesome...then came a what if thought. A thought combined with a growing impatience and building hunger..that thought was relayed to his limbs...and while he hadn't the intention to execute this thought yet...his body would tell him otherwise.
tabAn unnatural hurk noise was made by the squid man. The four of his external limbs twisted and convulsed chakra molding, Toso would then on keel over. Only for a large plume of similar smoke from Shion's summoning earlier to begin its billow. The ground beneath where he was standing was beginning to tremble. A clear indication that the group that had clustered near him should be backing away. From the left penetrating the smoke a huge tentacle bearing claws struck the ground with a thundering smash from where he was positioned this would be around 'not Shion' the lion and Hailee, this was followed by a right tentacle of similar appearance. Their appearance was slow and easily evaded but could do some harm if one wasn't paying much attention. Then piercing the night air when the smoke cleared the shadow of a spear like tip. This was Toso's Giant Squid Shape. Towering, and rivaling that of the temple itself almost. Though the shape had become twisted and gnarled and what once was formerly something of a shape one would consider friendly the abomination Toso had become part beast and squid seemed hardly anything but unsettling if not terrifying. "GAoooooooooogruuuuh"
tabThe guttural bellowy combination of what sounded like a roar that was phlegmy filled the sky. Unki and Shion would know the being from their chunin exam days and this being may have come to a surprise to Kagerou and Hailee...this was no mere illusory henge that a sharingan would be able to decipher this was a, for all definitions of, a squid. Of course if Shion made a slip of the tongue in recognizing it there would have been no doubts to her identity. Well...assuming Toso was right in the head. Which in this moment he was not. Still from a certain perspective...this was a lot of calamari.
tabThen what would likely indicate a start to things, whether the group was ready or not a huge giant tenta claw swipe across the roof of temple would leave behind a permanent skylight for those inside and the debris from the now failing structural integrity would likely force anyone or anything inside out and likely be just enough to derail the one twin from beating the s**t out of her brother if just for a moment. Simultaneously there was no severe lack of friendly fire as some sizable debris would fly towards the group of 'investigators'. Though after this one moment of wild recklessness the monstrosity that Toso had become seemed to calm down slightly. "Gaoooooruuuuuug...ug...wha?" If his actions implied anything it would mean Kagerou's Calming Song was still in effect thank goodness but would certainly be needing a refresher and soon. Though it might take a rank higher in investment with what she was now working with.

The actors had all gathered while Kagerou was trying to think of how to retort to what Toso said. Kagerou took in a deep breath to gather her thoughts. From the defining entrance of the twin kages to the quiet entry of one unfamiliar wolf she could smell in the night air, here they were, and certainly more were to come: humans and wolves. So many players. How would she, between a Bastet with her sights set on the main objective and a Toso who was morphing into a giant monster with little warning, fit in most effectively. Some quick glances to survey.
Then, Kagerou began winging it with what she had planned. In the middle of action, of a fight, she felt most in her element. Her mind didn't have the time to struggle against the beast within her, but neither did that beast find an opening to slip in through the stream, almost a flood, of thoughts and information that ran through Kagerou as she ever so calmly reacted to the situation. "Yes!" Kagerou answered Bastet, assuming Bastet could still hear her over the ruckus Toso's slamming tentacles made. At first, the medic nin had backed away at the billowing smoke warning, but now, hardly a second after, she cast some hand seals and leaped forwards, running along the tentacles momentarily embedded into the grounds until she reached and clung onto the growing Toso's main body. from there, she only had to hold on and she would go up, up, and up with his towering body. Her bells rang with the growing movement, and when it all seemed to settle, she cartwheeled to a better position, balancing herself on the metal tubes that encircled the head, her bells still ringing.
However, this time, she didn't cast Comfort Song through the clamorous ringing of her bells. Instead, after a short break in action where she focused on maintaining her balance while Toso's body twisted in the destruction of the temple, she unsealed a flute from one of her scrolls and let out a shrill note, piercing the low roars and the crashing debris that echoed through the grounds. It was a piercing melody meant not only for everyone in the vicinity to hear, but everyone within the vicinity of that vicinity, including others that might still be fast approaching. High notes struck like arrows and the introduction drew attention with its energetic, almost combative tone. However, it quickly mellowed, still hitting those high notes and still calling loudly, but with a melody that flowed like a river in winter. Exerting her utmost amount, Kagerou played. Despite the great energy expended, it was really only meant to be a catalyst, the little nudge to give people the chance they need to regain control over their bodies and then the little line to help them keep the control. Against a group so large and so powerful, Kagerou knew she wasn't overpowering anyone, and even setting power aside, as she understood the details of this technique, it wasn't a guarantee to work for bringing everyone to their senses.
Finally, one last one. Surveying from her perch atop Toso--hey, she wasn't just here because it would look cool to look down on the battlefield with scarlet eyes and a veritable mane of green hair reflecting the light of the blood moon--she could make out the battered form of the still sensible Arashikage among the rubble. Right now, she could just barely make him out, but earlier, she had seen enough to size up the situation between him and his sister, and so she would deliver what aid she could. Pushing herself a little more, her song continued. The winter river tune gave one last fortissimo of energy before tapering into the end. The fingers that created the music weaved an alternate form of hand signs with the same motions and the same melody used to calm everyone within the area would also carry aid specifically to Jay, healing his hands with the Mystical Hand Technique modified her clan's own secret technique.
Once it was done, and only once it was done, Kagerou took in a gasping breath to make up for all the air and chakra she had used right now. "Toso!" she shouted at the squid she still stood on, "If that song didn't work, then how quickly can you make that seal again in this form? The one we used to seal the Gyuuki, except this time, it'll be to suppress Lady Jeon's use of the Gyuuki." [1/6 Comfort Song]

Shion had intended to give everyone enough time to respond, but it seemed the feral Toso had other ideas. With the tentacled assault on the temple, the party's position had clearly been given away. Now was as good a time as any, i guess. Shion looked back to the genin acompanying them and offered her a friendly smile, forgetting about her mask for a brief moment. "Stick close, kid. And... try to avoid the big hitters. Alright, let's go." she'd finish, dashing off towards their target.
With a mighty roar, Ukukwala would launch ahead of the the CORE ninja and begin his assault on the shadowy figure. Two swipes flashed from the beast's mighty claws would cut through the night air, hoping to find their mark. Using the mighty beast's one-two combo as a distraction, Shion would flank the shadowy figure. The trademark blue flames of the Nibi's cloak quickly began to leak from Shion's body, wreathing the shrouded nin in a dull blue halo as she reached out with her now clawed hand for a quick swipe. Using the momentum of her swing, Shion would rotate her form to levy her other hand at the shadowy figure. Sparks quickly kicked up around Shion's hand, quickly culminating in a large outward explosion. As the blast ripped its way through the air towards Shadowy Figure, the Nibi's cloak would mix in with the natural flames of the blast and turn it a deep blue as they enhanced the strength of the blast.

There was just a moment to recollect the girls self, learning of the temple she now stood upon. This was her first time visiting the place, so to learn it's ins and outs would be rather useful. Especially since it appeared and felt like something large scaled was going down this path and certainly fairly soon. Her mind rearranged these thoughts, when a sudden earthquake roared across the whole area, shaking the ground beneath her feet. Hailee glanced in all directions, now noticing the sudden giant squid, taking a many steps back so that she wasn't within a wide spread foot from his now rather large and menacing appearance. Was this from the curse of the moon that had effected him early on inside the hospital? It seemed to be the only option that it was. The very appearence of the large squid was enough to make anyone stand in there tracks, like a deer upon headlights. Although judging from staring on and watching the squid, he seemed to be partly in control, but not fully enough. Like she learned from Kagerou, he had only come to his senses because of her song. But now that was wearing thin far and between.
Hailee watched in complete shock as Kagerou climbed the beast, feeling her melody ring out to the entire vicinity, a soothing feeling it left behind amonst all of the chaos and wreckage taking part. Her gaze for the moment left the action, coming to listen to Bastet as she told her to stay close by and be extra careful. "I promise I'll be careful, no worries ahah." This wasn't going to be an easy fight, especially with a rank of as low as her own. She hadn't even had that much training prior to this. And if it wasn't for Toso, she would of likely had near around zero knowledge, despite her calling herself the great one. Amorette stretched, sensing this was no time to be resting or taking a nap. Enveloping her chakra together, Hailee got down on all fours while Amorette got off of her, staying close to her form. Her teeth grew sharper, her nails longer, and just a more feral appearance. Once down and ready, she waited for an opening to rush in and help. Likewise, taught by another, it was wise to not rush into battle. So in heeding of, she waited for the best opportunity. OOC: So here's what's happening. We've triggered the end boss. I will be controling the NPC boss as well as Shion in the same post, so whoever is next in posting order please do post. The core ninja's two-pronged onslaught proved to be too fast for the cultist. Before he could break his trance, he was hacked to ribbons and scattered to the wind... or so it would seem. From off in the distance, a gurgling laughter would break the silence of the supposed victory. "You fools... You think you've won?" The cultist's voice was rough and strained, "I've gathered more than enough energy. This... is you end..." His words trailed off, dispersing into the wind as life slipped away. Those afflicted would feel the bloodlust they had been under begin to quell, though the effects would remain ever so present. It seemed like the cultist was all talk... but what did he mean by too late?
Just as the rag-tag group would regroup, a swirling torrent of shadows cast itself above the temple district. The skies grew dark as crackles of angry reds and orange energies lashed out in the sky. The sudden storm funneled downwards onto the cultist's destroyed form, manifesting itself in a human shape, though human is a term that could be used very loosely. The creature's back was arched, hunching it's titanic form and causing it to loom over the ninja below. Blackened, smoking tentacles wisped off its body, lashing out at the night air with the same energy that filled the roaring clouds above. In place of a face stared two red eyes, each moving independent of the other in a search for prey.
The slow, methodical swaying of the creature was broken as it suddenly lurched backwards, shrieking a banshee's wail. The soundwave would not only rip and tear at the party's ears, but also at the very environment itself as raw dark energies tore up floor boards and tiles, sending them scattering outwards towards all in the district.
Shion, not one to break her promises, instantly bolted towards Hailee the moment the beast manifested. Her mismatched eyes narrowed as she scanned the beast, waiting for its first move... Then came the blast. A harrowing wind struck the core nin, throwing her hood back and loosening her mask ever so slightly. Just before the barrage of debris could strike Shion, and by proxy the little girl behind her, Shion thrust both hands in front of her, sending a powerful blast of Bakuton chakra outwards, canceling out the forceful wind and burning up the debris immediately in front of her and Hailee.
"Shall we?" Shion would say to the genin under her care, the tell tale signs of an eager grin showing from the corners of her now-exposed mask. Her explosive energy would once again spark to life, this time at the bases of her feet. In seconds, the little core nin was blasting off at speeds that even magical anime ninjas would be awe-struck by. Closing the gap in a matter of seconds, Shion planted her hands against the beast and let loose a thunderous roaring explosion.
Oh, and Ukukwala jumped safely to a roof where he then jumped back at the beast to do two tiger claw swipes.

tabComing to his senses now and being capable of rational thoughts once more with the sudden refresher course given by Kagerou who now rested atop his mantle. "A half-hour minimally do to my lack of fluid brush use, something of which we do not have time for. Mille-feuille!" With the so called resurrection of the mysterious stranger as a beast and with it a retaliation as if acting on instinct rather than anticipation Toso shouted something that may have sounded like gibberish before a large inhale and a torrent of the familiar greyish ink exploded forth from his maw into the air. The mass shifting into what appeared to be four layers of wall stacked standing at several feet high, more than enough to cover himself, Kagerou, and Hailee. Albeit this also cut them off from Shion. The Divergence of the powerful wind burst visible passing through the sides as the ink was essentially being sheared away until the last layer crumbled. (Trivia: Mille-feuille is a french pastry known for having multiple layers atop one another making a somewhat cake or biscuit like shape where fillings are sandwiched between each layer.)
"Brochette!" As he spoke these two words blackness enveloped his two claw like tentacles and two extraneous tentacles. Definitely ink as they began to take shape into respective forms fitting of their names. The large tentacles became thin and lance like in appearance as they solidified. While Shion and her furry friend covered the shadows front. From above these two giant things although perhaps similarly sized when compared would come barreling down from from definitively uneven more difficult to doge angles as Toso's tentacles stretched with their elasticity. They would take care to make sure shion wasn't in the crossfire hence the preciseness of their shapes but the creature would be assaulted and flanked from multiple angles in a single definitive multi-pincer. This occurring without a moment's hesitation between the transition from defense to offense. (trivia: French meaning to skewer)
However, Toso's other two tentacles were whipping up something as well. Like the flick of a wrist, they would send two inky projectiles towards Shion and her meow meow. Purple in color and likely unexpected as well. When or rather if they splashed on target something of a resurgence in chakra would occur. A feeling of muscles tightening, reflexes sharpening, and increased hutzpah. Although it would certainly prove unfortunate if they deemed his assistance as hostile. It would be rather unfortunate if this ink struck their mysterious villain. What with his ink being indiscriminate and all. He would inform Kagerou while simultaneously applying this pressure. "It's likely that the seal you placed on her is still there. If you can touch the seal you would only need to exert enough chakra to alter the seals strength to cut her off from the demons chakra. My body refuses to yield this shape, It may seem risky but I could throw you. Blug." (Ceremonial Blend > Passive Descriptives are given an active increase of x0.50 their original value for a duration of 4 posts on contact i.e if ones passive is 12 gives a 6 active increase.)

What thoughts the thoroughly possessed woman could hold at the moment, all pointed to one very simple thing. This would be fun. Watching the scene unfold from her own vantage point she quickly leaned forward and disappeared. Reappearing atop the squidzilla directly behind Kagerou she quickly wrapped her right arm around the female and embraced the woman from behind. Her tongue lightly extended from her lips to trace along the womans neck to her ear. Giving a sour look she sighed,"Your chakra doesn't taste very good." Her voice almost a singsong tone as she spoke. Releasing the woman she giggled and fell to all fours atop the squid,"I wonder whos tastes the best down there." Completely irreverent of the chaos unfolding around her, she almost nonchalantly appraised those below like a customer appraising their lobster at a restaurant. Before it was cooked for dinner that is. Turning her head she gazed upon the woman she just licked with her ringed eyes, betraying a secret she would rather have kept secret. "Who do you think would taste the best?"
"Noisy" was probably an understatement if Unki were to try to describe everything her ears were picking up on. She spent a deal of her reflecting hiding on the sounds and playing with the ability to turn her ears. Evidently, there were others than just whoever howled. The sprinkling of sounds pit Unki into a guessing game of what or who could be more than just a stone's throw from her position. One? Two? Three, maybe? Her tally of sources was coming up to five when she heard quite the awful sounding gurgle of a growl? Howl? Some atrocious noise she thought was weird feeling it was something recognizable.
Unki perked her head out, beyond the crevice and looked into the direction where such sounds seemed to be in. Something just a ways off sounded like it was being damaged. More rock? A building? She couldn't see the squid-calamity causing some of the ruckus and she felt much less "on edge" about being in the area. Unki began to safe enough venture out and did so with her backpack carrying all of her possessions and colorful robe, freely flowing, and creeping further with an upright posture.
Alas, Unki had no awareness that the big evil shadow creature was spawning on the plain and couldn't have been informed to prepared until the last second or so. The next thing Unki caught onto was the angry swirl of a dark mass scaling above the mountain sanctuary and pieces of which were chucked around like toy building blocks. Unki could only react with a timed dodge. A deep gritting growl escaped her muzzle as she snarled at the shadow.
