The girl's supernatural extrasensory awareness saved her from a lot of harm after the explosion had went off, and dodging that explosion was a feat in of itself. The ninja at the back of the house was unperturbed by the smoke and flames for the most part: he wouldn't have been a ninja worth his salt of he had, and though there was certainly still pain at his back it didn't seem as though the smoke was disturbing his vision either. Grunting to a stand after Unki left the clone behind, the man eyed her back through the smoke. The clone and it's shouting would be the subject of an attack next: he took off towards the living room and through the smoke came a kunai flung fast and hard. Letting this fire rage was a priority of his, even though the message had been sent more than well enough. Through the billowing smoke, however, the man simply sprinted with a cloth of his own shirt over his face and held breath. He had to ignore his now certainly dead comrades, as Unki's actions and no sure way to save them from the ink would have caused their deaths within minutes even without the explosions. Unki had hurried after the girl, looking to see where the other woman was from, and the man himself leapt through a broken window, ahead of her, blocking her path with a pair of kunai drawn, his eyes telling that he wasn't going to simply allow the girl to pass. Unki would see in the distance a figure sprinting away at maximum speed. Behind her, a wall of earth rose behind her to obscure any persuer's immediate vision.

The clone ruptured with the knife taking her without much warning and detonated into an apparent plume of hot air. Too bad, it was beginning to look like the neighborhood was out for the day based on the on-going rate that not a soul seem to stir and reply to her.
Real Unki had to shift her plan to instead be executed now upon the man who was plainly challenging her. This endeavor of being at the wrong place at the wrong time was exceedingly annoying and the chunin began to feel it. Now, she was cut off from her pursuit. This ninja must have been the one pulling the wire from the upstairs area. He confronted Unki now with a pair of knives and a provoked look in his eyes.
Real Unki had to shift her plan to be executed not on the girl but now to the man who was plainly challenging her. This endeavor of being in around at the wrong time was exceedingly annoying and the chunin began to feel it. Within her first response, there were a first set of dual seals which produced obscure results but she was certain to follow up with the single hand seal to summon a new Unki clone. Impromptu "step one" was in action now. Unki now held one arm at her waist and the other near her shoulder. There was some confidence in the dual seal's activation, after all, they were out in the open in broad daylight and she hasn't met much of anyone who actually rivals her tolerance to warm weather.
With her clone present now, there was an important necessity for timing to follow through with, that if else fails then she's off to plan B instead. The Unki clone stood considerably close behind the real Unki and forged her own set of seals for a quick formation of scorch needles. The clone's red hot needles were off and out and on the fly just shortly after creation. This move was her test.
The real Unki was simultaneously preparing an additional technique for herself and the only way she could initially think to disguise her preparation was by taking a stance that suggests she's ready: one hand held up to her shoulder threatening to draw her sword and the other primed to react with a projectile. She couldn't spare not being prepared if her opponent is holding two knives for goodness sake!

As girl rogue made her run for it and Unki was stopped by the male, he could feel his own heartbeat in his chest. Nothing as of yet had gone to plan, and he seemed to be down two friends. At the point he was now, he could also run after providing the woman with a distraction, or stand and fight. From what he understood, what he knew, he was facing someone capable of cold hearted murder (even if that wasn't actually true.) As his body began to feel warm, he felt the rising heat of his calling! He was one of the Sons of- wait no this wasn't metaphorical. He was sweating... like a lot. Buckets. Was... was this fear? No matter! An attack was coming his way and he had to respond. With a quick motion, he produced a defensive measure ahead of himself: one hand still holding the kunai extended released a burst of wind that would both overtake the needles and threaten to blow away the girl and her clone.
He steeled himself against his own fears and apprehensions and tightened his grip on the daggers in his hand. Of the two choices, he decided being a martyr was more important. Likely by now after the screams of the clone and the explosion HERE of all places, authorities would be inbound.
Maybe she could save him. So long as SHE got away it didn't matter.
Two versions of the girl -he wiped away sweat- meant he would need a response further than defending himself, while simultaneously attacking. He focused his chakra into his kunai and a poof of smoke produced a clone beside him, also holding two knives. Both of them rushed towards wherever Unki and her clone had gone, with the clone going for the clone and the real going for the real. The two of them, in unison, flung their bodies forward in a spin, offering for Unki's pleasure a powerful kick that could easily cause significant blow back with full reckless abandon.

ooc: Forgot I had a PA that slightly reduced payout for Taijutsu techniques, I refunded 5 chakra to the former 575 amount.
Unki moves into impromptu step 1/2 and deactivates the genjutsu as her clone, already in such close proxmity, wraps her arms about the real Unki's form and flickers the pair out of the wind's path.
With the opposing duo in tow to their new location, the Unki clone swiftly detaches from her Original and readies herself to take the clone's opposing spinning heel kick. The kick would ultimately result in her brief detonation. As the explosion sets off and dissipates, the real Unki would be on the move to spring off step two with the activation of a replacing genjutsu. All in all, Unki had to set herself up to correct this entire mistake and attempt to make use of the clone's efforts and sacrifice with the fruits of her physical training.
The incoming kick was a gruesome one and what glimpse Unki had registered of the fly foe was that a fearsome human-sized object was on her path. The instinct to attempt to dodge turned into a deflection the attack and shot to avoid further delay of this fight. The maneuver to deflect was a fierce, derailing, swack of her forearm into her opponent's leg and she struck with her counter attack that was a springing toward his person to make a full contact of her opponent with a deceiving embrace. Both hands to press onto his body. Her arm stung, no doubt, but dual hand contact would rightfully put the terrorist to sleep and make the stinging worth it.

The man's clone was down, and so was the assailant. He fell to the ground after his foot landed and he was too slow to respond to the girl's hands coming in at his chest. Once he was grounded, and asleep, the fire at the house would finally see a corp of shinobi acting as firefighters with their water type jutsu. One of the men was directing APD officers to bar off the area while another couple knocked down the obstructive rock wall. Whoever that woman had been she was possibly long gone by now. The lead officer turned to Unki, clearly a man of rank and stature, finely trimmed facial hair remnant of someone's uncle. "What exactly happened here? Jay and Jeon won't be happy to learn that the day their children arrive their house got inked and went up in flames," he spoke seeing the unconscious man on the ground, noting the symbol on his back. His fist tightened suddenly as he took a knee beside him. "Damn it," he spat at the ground. He knew that symbol all too well, clearly.

Unki took the ride to the ground with her sleeping capture in her arms and held onto him until she knew he was asleep. The will have to keep tabs on how long the illusion goes and refuel until the proper authorities will have him secured. The girl was out of sight but at least one terrorist in was in Unki's reach. Unki quickly peeled herself off and stood. She rubbed her arm. Who Unki can only assume were a police force had arrived. Maybe her fallen clone did manage to stir something? The officers knocked down the rock wall the escaped terrorist erected and went right away to questioning.
"Oh! Thank goodness!" Unki planted her palm onto her chest and took a long breath of relief. She inhaled promptly before speaking again and looked at the officer. Her expression was as serious as she could muster when she initially replied; "A mess happened." Unki would follow up quickly before the officer could chide and accuse her of trying of not taking him seriously.
"I was passing through, eyed some glass on the ground in front of the house and sought to investigate. The front door knob was a broken mess long before I went into the house. Paper bombs were tacked on the walls and some sort of chord was being ran up the staircase from what I could tell. I didn't get to investigate further because the two inside set off the bombs before I could subdue them. I counted at least four ninja and all pretty much wearing the same thing. Three men and a woman total. The woman was the one who got out of reach."
Unki had her foot on the sleeping man below as she spoke and even so as the officer knelt for a closer look. He's sleeping under a genjutsu. This one seems to have proficiency in taijutsu and wind based techniques. That's all I know." She took her foot off the sleeping ninja and stepped back. "Anything you know that I can know? In case I see anyone else with this get-up, that is. " She was talking to a policeman and some info could always classified or something since there always could be investigations on-going. Unki didn't posses a headband to identify her ninja-ish status. There was always the usefulness of getting to flash the booklet containing her identification (and possibly Shiro's letter again, if need be, although it was highly unlikely that this officer would turn pale like the first person who had to read it). There was always a fine chance the officer would overlook the lack of apparent insignia and just treat her as a witness to a crime.

The officer listened to her report as the man snored beside his knee, eyes still on the symbol partially obscured by Unki's foot. He looked up at her, giving her a once over as he tried to scan his memory for any recollection among the shinobi roster for who this girl might have been. The honest truth was that, besides her not having a headband to show allegiance or anything of the sort visible, he had no memory of her. Before he answered her question he rose with an eyebrow raised behind his own headband, lightning bolt adorned plate against a white cloth. "Who are you, exactly?" he'd ask. He was clearly wary of people he didn't know, and the reason why was below him. He turned his attention to the scene, now fire free with medical ninja tending to the two whom had been against the wall. Both of them were confirmed dead. Asphyxiation probable. The captain gave a nod. "The shinobi you encountered are part of a gang-turned-terrorist cell called the Sons of Helios. Those corpses are now a pair of martyrs for their cause." he grumbled through gritted teeth. His own finger pointed to where her foot was on the symbol: red sun with a G note on the inside. He wouldn't go into any further detail but he would reach down to grab the man by his collar and lift him, expecting her to remove her foot as he did so. With the man slung over his back, he'd be going away for questioning soon. The man clearly wasn't concerned with him waking up in the slightest. He looked at her expectantly, however, for an answer to his question.

This was the first time Unki had seen this genjutsu in action and she was riddled with enough an anxiety that whatever she read about this technique's grasp could be undone unexpectedly. Unki gritted her teeth when the officer asked her name. She blinked and tried to avoid looking too much as if she had forgotten something in front of someone considerably important. Her lips moved and tongue freely moved but her teeth remained clamp together as she replied in a flat tone, "Unki."
She paused and contemplated the necessity of having to attach Amano. It was possible to go around with one name in these parts and before another thought to stop her Unki broke the surname-less thought by slapping in the rest of, well, what name she knew she could go by.
"Amano." She reasoned it all with the earnest face that it was best not to be chided later for foregoing the appropriate time to give her full name "Helios?" Unki repeated the officer. She wasn't sure if she heard the name right and she furrowed her brows. What a funny name... I wonder where they got it from? She rightfully shrugged it off. No use questioning a name of something you have to eliminate.
The continued the topic of the terrorist in hope for a little more detail. Maybe she could help? "They sound like a zealous bunch." With her comment, Unki then looked in direction of the house vandalized by fire, smoke, and a slight touch of her hand. Ignorance is bliss. She pressed a three of her fingers against her lips and chin and tried to pull of a serious and thoughtful guise when she was honestly reflecting on the explosion of the ink sac. Shoulda' asked to see that little whopper in action back then...

The man raised an eyebrow, allowing his eyes to travel up and right as he took a deep dive into his memory. It took a second but he snapped his finger and pointed at the girl. "Ah right Unki. Yeah, I know you," he spoke with a smirk. He reached into his pocket and removed a small card with a picture of his no nonsense stare alongside some embroidery. "Lieutenant Maka," he spoke to her beginning his walk towards the house once more. "Hey. Got one alive." he called out as they approached. A few officers walked towards him, one taking handcuffs from his back and the other removing a spool of rope. "This is Unki Amano, from the Imperial City. She as a kumo ninja, so she's one of us more or less. Take precautions with the prisoner incase he get's rowdy. He's likely to wake up soon." He betrayed a bit of himself there, acknowledging he wouldn't be sleep much longer, but the moment the men took him he was no longer of concern for the situation. "We're going to take him back and interrogate him. If you'd like to join, you may. We've been following leads on them for a while now. They must have caught wind of the Kage leading their mission outside the walls. They're usually much more docile with the threat of those two coming down on them. We knew tensions with that rebel faction were getting high but we never expected this." He shook his head, offering for her to follow him past the ruins of the home and towards where the Landslide Abodes spilled into one of the many White Gust districts. "This is quite troublesome indeed. Sorry things aren't all gold and gaudy like the I.C." he offered with a shrug to the girl, completely lacking an sincerity at all. In fact, he almost sounded condescending, a little resentful? Either way he would wait for confirmation from the girl before he disappeared into the crowd in a very naruto Ninja run that led him up one wall, then another, and then at maximum speed among the roof tops. -Exit-

Unki just blinked and shrugged. The Imperial City didn't have a glittery flair to her and just possessed a more stabilized look than being showy. She thought it a strange saying at first until she put two and two together. Maybe the officer was referring to stability than appearance? The village of Aya was destroyed by natural disasters in her lifetime and always rebuilt itself to the same standard a fishing port turned 'trading hub' could manage with its fleet of villagers. Aya held its own "gold and glitter" that was different from Kumogakure and far from holding a likeness to Splinter City which felt like it was just starting out to a stranger like Unki.
"I really don't have any other responsibilities ahead of me..." She didn't envision herself actually playing a role in the interrogation other than being the dutiful sap who inflicts physical terror with heated hand prints being left on uncooperative foes.
After the officer made his exit, Unki did the same and skedaddled after him. {exit}

Todoroki was was walking home when a house owner lamented outside of their house. The dog approached the human to discover that the owner was lamenting the fact that weeds have grown. This apparently was a big deal to the land owner. This caused Todoroki to dig up the weeds and save the home owner. The home owner seemed relieved.
As soon as Todoroki was going to leave, however, another home owner had a similar problem. She also had weeds in her front lawn. Todoroki of course was willing to help her as well. He went to the weeds and dug them up. The woman thanked him and the dog left.
Before the dog could get far, however, another home owner requested for Todoroki to help with their lawn dilemmas. Apparently another person had weed issues. Todoroki once again resolved the issue. He dug up the weeds and then left.
The dog rolled his eyes when another person requested aide. Apparently they too had a weed problem. The dog moved over to their lawn and hastily dug up the weeds. He finished with a huff and went off to leave.
Of course he didn't get very far. Of course someone else had weed problems. And of course Todoroki moved in to assist the man. The dog moved faster than he did with the other lawns. He did the job and then turned to leave.
Except, of course, someone else had a lawn issue. Was there some sort of weed outbreak? The woman was actually crying at all of the weeds that had grown in her lawn. Todoroki managed to take care of the weeds. The woman was so overjoyed that she even gave the dog some peanut butter as a reward.
The peanut butter reward gave Todoroki the strength to deal with the next weed outbreak. The houseowner was a young man and his lovely husband. They both were shirtless as they grasped each other around the waist in fear. Todoroki made quick work of the weeds. He was as good boy who openly supported the LGBT.
The taller of the gay couple then asked Todoroki to follow him. Apparently, the blond Adonis had more private property which also had a weed problem. Todoroki swiftly destroyed the weeds. He was then rewarded with pats on the head and ear scratches. This made Todoroki very happy.
Todoroki found another people with a weed outbreak. This person has had weeds for a week. Todoroki took care of the weeds without much difficulty. He also took the time to cover up the holes that he dug. This got him an extra treat.
Todoroki found more weeds. This landowner was fighting the weeds with a forklift. Todoroki managed to get the man to back up the vehicle so that he could dig up the weeds. He destroyed the weeds and then left the man and his forklift. He didn't even know that there were forklifts in this world.
Todoroki decided to get creative when he found the next weed outbreak. He took out a kunai and dug the area around the weed with the kunai. He then put the ninja tool away and grabbed out the weeds with one fell bite. Todoroki felt like this took too much time, and he wasn't excited to try it again.
The canine was surprised to find yet another outbreak of weeds in the area. This one was infesting the local park that the children played in. The mothers wept along the sidelines as their children played with the weeds as though they were flowers. Thankfully Todoroki came into the picture and saved the day. He disposed of the weeds and then allowed the children to play with him instead.
More weeds were spotted. This person had a fence around their lawn. Todoroki whimpered until the person opened the gates. The dog rushed in and defeated the weeds. This caused the landlord to be overjoyed.
Todoroki found another batch of weeds growing. They were along the property of a group of young adults in their mid twenties. Todoroki easily destroyed these weeds. It was then that the young adults came out, and they smelled funny. Maybe it was the weeds? Or a different kind of weed?
Todoroki was oddly happy after dealing with the young adults. When he discovered the next lawn with weeds he accidentally dug his hole six inches to the right of the weeds. Once he realized this he snapped himself out of the haze and destroyed the weeds. He then covered up both the weed hole and the hole he accidentally created.
Todoroki paid more attention when the next client requested his aide in removing weeds. He allowed the balding man to bring him right to his house and show him where the weeds were. It was then that Todoroki dug out the weeds and exterminated them. This caused the balding man to smile as he took a picture of the dog.
Todoroki found another people who needed help. This was a house sitter who spontaneously found weeds in the lawn of the house she was supposed to be monitoring. Todoroki made quick work of these weeds. This caused relief to return to the girl, who was afraid of the consequences of her negligence.
Todoroki moved onto the next lawn. This one was circular in shape and belonged to a guy who was obsessed with the number six. He had a number six on his shirt, every fourth word he said was the number six, and he stylized his hair so that it looked like a number six. Regardless, Todoroki finished the job. The man gave the canine a dog treat shaped, as you would guess, in the shape of the number six.
Once Todoroki finished the final bite of his snack did he get another request to exterminate weeds. These weeds were all tangled within each other. It took the canine quite a while to untangle them. Nevertheless, he did. He was the best boy after all.
The next lawn seemed oddly familiar to Todoroki. it reminded him of the lawn he grew up on before Sorato adopted him. He found the week and destroyed it. The dog was praised for his work, but his furry head was too in thought with the memories of his past. The dog did like the treats they gave, however.
Todoroki was still in thought when he was recruited for the next week. He wondered how his siblings were as he dug up the weeds. Did they also become ninja dogs? He wondered this, but then finished destroying the weed. He had too many humans who needed him today to get lost in these thoughts.
Todoroki found another person who needed their lawn purged of weeds. The dog moved straight in and destroyed the weeds. It was easy for him now that he had so much practice with it. Once he finished he was praised for his effort.
Finally, the last person asked for his help in the extermination of weeds. Todoroki did not know if this was truly the last person, but he knew that it was the last person that he would help. When he got to the weeds the dog dug them up and destroyed them. He then covered up the whole and was praised constantly. As he ate his reward treat, however, the dog bolted. He had to escape.
__ Kenshin decided to walk to the residential district instead of reporting to the Spire immediately. He was extremely sleep deprived and would be of no use to the leadership right now. When his office shadow clone disappeared a flood of memories assaulted him and he was unable to fully process them for now. The past week he barely slept as he lead the village in the interim period. When he arrived home, he stepped through the highly secured fence and walls surrounding the large house. He was so exhausted that he even forgot to close the gate behind him. When he unlocked the front door he stepped inside he stored his police duty belt and sword in a secure place. The house was large but contained very little furniture. The walls were blank which allowed Kenshin to unwind easier. It was not a home meant for entertaining guests. The air within the home was still and all storage areas were obsessively well organized. One only room in the house that was in anyway of note was his office which contained a desk and fuuin-secured file cabinets everywhere for classified documents. The walls were adorned with his various accolades from the police force as well as his collection of swords from rapiers to katanas and so on. Kenshin went to his bedroom after showering to sleep for over twelve hours. He had a habit of sleeping in his uniform so that he would always be ready to go. When he woke up he made a protein heavy breakfast and stepped out of the front door with his sword and duty belt facing the open gate.

That scent. Could it be?! Todoroki followed the scent through the houses until he approached the fence. He followed the rim of the fence until he found the gates still opened and welcomed himself in. Then he came to the door. There he was! The secret friend. Todoroki panted loudly as he rushed to the man. He excitedly skipped in front of the man before he then raised his rear while facing the man and lowering his head and torso. This was to show secret friend that he was here and that he would listen to instructions. Once he finished he stood up straight and waited for the man to give him pets. He loved it when human gave him the pets.
After buying some new gear at the marketplace Yuno found herself wandering about with nothing to do. She didn't want to return to the office while Kenshin was still there, and her house was gone so she had nowhere to go to kill time. Perhaps she could pass the time by tagging somewhere? As she was walking down the street the sight of a familiar dog caught her eye She followed it until her eyes reached the shins of a man. Slowly her eyes rose higher and as they did her chest burned ever more. Kenshin. Her lips pursed into a frown as she stared into his pale eyes. Her first thought was to ask what he was doing here but then she realized that such a thing was stupid. More than likely this was his home. She glared angrily while remembering her time in jail but for the moment her lips were sealed tight. For whatever reason she didn't move, she could have done so and likely it would save her a great deal of headache. Her father's stubbornness perhaps? Perhaps he wouldn't even recognize her, after all she had shed her aesthetic flair for something more subdued.

__ When he stepped out of the door his attention was immediately seized by a dog that he assumed was a neighborhood stray momentarily before recognizing him as Todoroki. Kenshin felt well rested and fed so he was not in a sour mood. When the dog hunched Kenshin reached down to pet the dog's head. "Hey boy, are you here all by yourself?" He was surprised by the dog's appearance at his front door and his voice was softer than usual when speaking to Todoroki. When he looked up he saw a girl standing across the street staring into the open gate as he pet the dog's head and rubbed the fur on his neck. She had green hair and eyes and it took him a few seconds to inspect her before realizing who it was. "Son Yuno?" He wondered as he analyzed her face. After years of detective work in the force he developed the ability to never forget a face. Her appearance was drastically different from when he last saw her being carted off in handcuffs to the juvenile detention center."Is he with you?" Kenshin asked in reference to the dog, his voice returning to its strict disposition as was the standard. He reared his hand back after giving Todoroki exorbitant amounts of attention and stood upright once more, awaiting Yuno's response.
