'Weddings' was written in an ornate calligraphy on the banner that Lannister silently hung over his tiny love chapel. The banner was huge, hoping to catch the attention of pae wandering by. Lannister hoped to remind pae of the significance of binding their soul to the love of their life. It seemed to Lannister that hardly any pae committed to each other for eternity, perhaps they just needed a good opportunity to do so. And grandmother had asked him to. It was something that was so important to him though, how complete it would make one feel to have their soul tethered to another. Of course Lannister could only speculate since he had yet to find his soul's other part.
He evened the banner out and then adjusted it again even though it had already been made straight. He glanced around the lobby somewhat awkwardly, it wasn't like he could expect pae to be racing towards him to get hitched. Perhaps he'd get the chance to see his dad though, or maybe his youngest siblings.

Abby stretched, trying not to think about how big this evening was. She'd received a coveted summons from her most beloved grandmother and wanted to make her proud. She couldn't begin to imagine how much work had gone into making this village so amazing, and to have set up a small fountain in the lobby specifically for her? Abby didn't realize her grandmother cared so very much! It almost made the demi goddess well up with emotion. Almost.
It was like that she was standing nervously in the front entry, looking around for one of her cousins. Surely she wasn't the only one feeling the nerves. Wearing a gown of soft purples and gold, she couldn't help but feel almost out of place. All the girls with the shorter skirts and dresses, she feel a bit like a sore thumb. Maybe Lannister would be there to distract her? He almost never enjoyed these parties, and having a responsibility during it must be a good way to distract him. Right? Stia's fingers gently caressed Zofie's side, trying to sooth the woman who single-handedly managed to make an entire ranch run so smoothly it was a miracle. With the rather intense nightmare his spouse had -very- recently, the fae was loathe to leave her side. When she'd suggested this party, he couldn't help but jump on the chance. She needed a vacation. He was certain that was what had caused her stressful nightmare.
"You look stunning tonight, My love." He whispered in her ear. No one else needed to know how stunning she looked. He just wanted her to be there, to relax, and enjoy the party. Maybe that was why he'd gone the extra mile and chose a suit that she seemd to enjoy so very much. With just a small alteration for his wings, it fit like a glove and he couldn't help but try and be sexy for her. Junior carefully slid his sunglasses up his nose, using his free paw. There were so very many glimmering lights, it was easy for a pae to get a headache just from walking in the village. Not one to be intimidated, Junior looked to his wife, smiling at her radiant beauty. Goddess he loved her and everything she did. With the way she sparkled and glowed under the oddly glowing lights of this village, he couldn't help but stare. It was a requirement of life. He needed to stare at the goddess on his arm.
How could one pae be so lucky? He wondered, leaning to kiss her temple. The rather muscled pae couldn't rip his eyes off her, she was just so beautiful. "Nereus, you.. You're breath taking." He was at a loss for words. She somehow managed to always take his breath away, and yet fill him to the point of bursting at the same time. How she managed something so amazing, it just blew him away. Perhaps that's why he'd chosen a simple suit. To only draw more attention to her beauty. Who would look at the plain suit next to her? That was his point. That, and to be good eye candy for her.

Determined not to wallow in the strange feelings surrounding her fairly recent awakening in the Hall of Lost Souls, Midoriko had decided that the best thing for her at the moment was to distract herself. And what better way to do that than to hit up a party? She'd managed to procure herself a simple cream-colored slip dress for the occasion that was both demure and enticing at once, a pale green braided cord knotted around her waist as a stylized belt. From the belt hung her complementary pouch of tokens she'd been handed at the door and the currency within made a pleasant tinkling sound as she strolled into the hotel lobby, her hands loosely clasped behind her back. Skirting groups of pae who had already arrived for the celebration, Midoriko made her way around the periphery and admired the decorations.
Catching sight of the fondue, she sidled up to the fountain and selected a skewer from a dish. Spearing a hunk of bread, she held the morsel under the cheesy waterfall and carefully transferred the whole messy affair to her mouth. She hadn't been prepared for it to be the best thing she'd ever tasted. Before she knew it, Midoriko had secured several more little savories to dip and unceremoniously gobbled them up. What is wrong with me? she wondered, finally catching up to what she'd been doing. Carefully and precisely, she threw the skewer into a bin. It was surprisingly difficult to tear herself away from the fondue fountain but she just managed it, deciding that maybe another go around the lobby would clear her head. After all, there were drinks to be had, games to play, soo many other foods, and 'tasty' looking pae, too... Brought up short by that last sentiment, she wondered again, aloud this time, "What is wrong with me?"

Asrun, by this point, had grown quite tired of parties.
What with the recent giant snake monster that had come with that party in the Spring - oh what a PERFECT WELCOME that had been after nearly a week of travel ... for Alu's sake... - and the fact she'd been responsible for a kid the entire time... Man was she tired! Exhausted! All she'd wanted to do was drop him back off at his parent's place as promised and head back for a nice few days of doing ******** in the swamp to rejuvenate.
  But she'd been got.
  They got her good.
The naiad had quite the intention of just slipping away quietly when she noticed some ridiculous attire on the sisters, but alas, she really should have known better, what with the bounds of energy everyone in that hut seemed to possess. No sooner than she could process the situation they already were ushering her in and adorning her with each and every kind of stuffy wear.
The poor kid was going to get dragged along alone, left to his sisters' whims at this rate. She had too much of a heart to let him receive that that force alone.
So she'd -reluctantly- agreed to come with.
Now... she'd tried to be 'polite' and 'insisted' that she didn't need anything to go with her, that her scales were plenty enough and that it wasn't like there was a reason she needed be dressed, but they were too strong for her. Power lies in numbers. And thus she'd been forced to compromise and adorn herself with one of Alma's little dresses. It was about the only one that allowed her full motions of her legs, even if they'd stuck in more than a few pins and temporary stitches to fit the top to her own unimpressive figure.
And by figure, I mean bust.
  It was rather nonexistent.
Then when they'd arrived, the pair sat her down and went about messing with her hair each way and that. Only the spirits could know why her normal braid wasn't good enough for this place. They'd been at it for probably 20 minutes before Asrun got fed up with it all and shoo'd them away.
That had been a few minutes ago, and scarcely a word had passed between her and the poor boy they'd left to her side. Poor thing looked so uncomfortable. But Asrun was a simple pae, so there was only one thing she could do to break the tension.
  "So.... food....?"

Wellspring, quite frankly, did not want to be here again. Not with how last year had gone down and the... ahem... other things that went up...
But he wanted to be in Alu Spring even less.
And Laisidhiel even less than that.
So he was here again, reluctantly, as if in a daze. His hair wasn't done in any special way, and he certainly gave off a feeling that he'd not been sleeping well for quite the time. Had he lost a bit of weight too recently? Maybe? He could have always been like this for what he could remember.
Glancing around, he aimlessly wondered what it felt like to drink oneself into a stupor. He'd never really been one for drinking - the only time he'd done so was last year with Aurelia. Perhaps it could help.
If nothing else, maybe he'd be able to get a decent rest and forget about those horrible snakes... and the hell from last year... and the tree explosion...
Y'know what. How about just forget about everything.
That could be fun for a day, right?

Theras looked over to his cousin and shrugged. "Kinda weird grandma wants us to do this and not our moms. I mean...You've heard all of the stories." Many many times. "What if that crazy pure smoke lady comes around? Air-tits or something." He kinda tuned that story out.
"I dunno, this kinda weird but it's what grandma wants right? We just need to make sure no fights break out? Should be easy. Just keep your eyes up." He looked around the room. "I dunno...Mom might be right...Mortals are weird."

Pelagious sighed as he wandered down the little pebbled road that leads to Las Venus. Or at least what he thought was Las Venus. Considering he was lost, he couldn't be to sure. And if these damn chiffon heels wobbled one more, he was gonna toss them into the woods on the side of the road. "GODDESS HELP ME!!" He shouted. Just as he crested a hill MD noticed that he had not only made it also caught a bit of attention. He turned bright red. He couldn't help it. Straightening his shoulders, he he put on his cheery smile and yelled "CAUSE I'M ABOUT TO PARTY!!" To resounding cheers from the pae already here. All 3 of them. Or maybe that was his imagination and they were just glaring. Who knew... Oh well. He had a hotel room to get to. Haku adjusted the small backpack higher on his shoulders and let the skirt wearing pae stalk on past. Giving his fern a beloved Pat, he shook his head and moseyed on down to the main building. "People...." he muttered disgustedly. He had no clue why he was here. Some inner drive had commanded him to show up and here he was.
He had not come for the golden feathered nuisance who was always here. No, no. He had decided that this trip he was going to avoid his little temptation...er....feather duster this entire trip. He had to be resolute. She was taking focus away from his babies....

Areus chuckled at the name his cousin had mistaken for Eris. He wasn't going to even bother correcting him, air-tits was a much better name. Probably better than the goddess of discord deserved. "You don't think we could handle it?" The teen asked with a tone of mild arrogance. "Grandmother must believe we can handle it... or she thinks nothing is going to happen." The latter seemed more likely given the history of events that they had learned. "Keeping the mortals in line will be easy compared to what we have trained for." Areus resumed watching the mortals, following the pretty ones across the room with his eyes. His cousin hadn't indulged him in admiring the mortals, but that only meant more for him. It didn't matter to him if the mortals might be a little odd.

Mayu followed behind Venus and her mob of Cherbus as they slipped into the hotel lobby. She took a position off to Venus' right, close enough to the edge she could look below to see who all was arriving. A Cherub flitted around her asking questions and making notes of things. With Venus' grandchildren handling things this year, Mayu was feeling a little on edge. Her pristine smile never wavered to show it though. Instead, she was giving Charles a list to keep an eye out for. Though it may not be a part of her duties, she just had to be sure things went right for Venus' sake.
She waved the little Cherub away to tend to things and took to scouting. Yes, seemed everyone was falling into their places. This was good. If they could just hold out until the night was over then she could breathe and relax once more. She'd been having to go over and beyond her normal routine to keep her complexion together. Nerves really did something to the skin. Still, she managed to shine just as brightly as ever. She'd look like a gleaming jewel next to Venus. not that she minded such an objectified position. She was a companion to Venus and after everything, the wonderful woman had done for her and her sisters she could never complain. Plus, the living in style? Yes, she'd gladly ensure her best look in order to please the Goddess of Love.Soaring Hope kept close to his brother. He could feel the anxiety trying to grip his throat, but worked on the breathing exercises his mother had taught him. He'd never been around this many Pae all at once. Sure, they spent some time in the tree, but something about being there was much more comforting. This was suffocating.
His Dad had said they had a job to do though and it wasn't something Hope could back out of. His Dad had done his best to try and prepare them for this day, explaining what their other family was like and what would be expected of them. There was something honoring about being needed and having a calling, but at the same time he wished he was back home in the quiet of their home.
He was so focused on his breathing he didn't notice his brother stop. He bumped into his back and stumbled backward a bit before scurrying right back up on him. He didn't feel safe being too far apart "Sorry, so sorry." His deep blue eyes took in the Pae around him- seeing many different shapes and sizes. He was mesmorized for a moment. He'd never seen such variety!
"I think Dad said to meet him here." he said softly, having to lean in knowing his siblings wouldn't be able to hear him over the noise. "I hope we get to do something quiet..." Amatus just wanted to diiiiiiie.
Their overall feelings of these parties in the past had come with mixed emotions. Even so, getting the chance to be invited to work it had been something completely different. They'd been summoned for a reason this time! Not only that, but Arelle had actually seemed interested in joining them. What a perfect scene for the two brothers to try and win the attention of the not-relative.
This excitement had all been snuffed out at the mention of grandpa going.
Hence, Amatus wanting to die. He knew how these parties got, and if grandpa was going as grandma's eyes and ears there was no way in the world the twins would be allowed to attend anymore. Sure, in the past they had sworn off the parties, but that had been their choice dangit! Not someone elses!
So, a plan to ditch the leash was a go. Their whole journey there had been quiet planning among the three when the fourth wheel didn't seem to be paying attention. Also, using Arelle as a distraction was also agreeable. That one could talk! Which she was doing the very moment they entered.
"Dang. They really know how to do this thing up." Amatus said in awe to his twin, taking in the scene. Oh, yes, food. Good. Not that he ever doubted it, but still. He tore his eyes away for a second to double check grandpa was distracted and lowered his voice, "Alright, when should we move?" From behind Amatus Arelle squealed, "How have you all never invited me to these things? This is amazing!" her eyes were huge as she took everything in. She didn't notice Amatus' head shake and muttering about how these parties tend to end up in a disaster so its better had she stayed at home. Even if she had caught on she would have ignored him as she usually did anyway. Or gave him a good swat, either way.
She gripped Kane's arm, pointing towards a long buffet table, "Look! They imported shrimp too!" She had no idea that Amatus was looking at her in shock- the perfect distraction! Instead, she looked absolutely excited for their grandfather like she'd just made his night. As quickly as that happened, she was looping her arms with the boys, "And I think that fountain is pouring out chocolate! We gotta check it out!"Teigra Amatus & Arelle to Kane & Erasmus

The white and blue naiad awkwardly walked into the lobby looking for her...Friend? She wasn't too sure anymore. She had been making her way to the town when a nagging thought entered her head, was this a date? Sure it was their sons that had suggested the idea Cabel and her but...They agreed to it...Again. She knew the stories about these parties and Amitola had returned a father...The same thing had happened to her brother one year. It wasn't too hard to figure two and two together to figure out children were a possibility from these parties. So if they knew the risk but they were still here. If they had any logical thought they would have not come but...Zinvera started to nervously twirl her hair around her finger. Did...Did Cabel want...No no that was a crazy thought. They were just friends after all. JUST FRIENDS. Who enjoyed to spend time with each other. At a place that was known for craziness and randomness. Yup. Perfectly logical for two adults.
Her blue eyes scanned the room looking for the warm coloured fae. She was feeling a bit under dressed around the others that were here...Since she didn't have cloth to wear. Maybe if she stayed perfectly still no one would notice her.

Bic: The grin that appeared on his face at her compliment spread from ear to ear, like a kid receiving a sweet. "I had to make sure I looked up to standards for you."
Her response to his question brought a laugh, warm an wholesome. "Really? How crazy to think of dieties regularly having kids too. I thought that more a mortal thing... Do they have to ask Mille too?" Wasn't Mille retired now? Ah his age was showing. He slid his arm from her waist to her arm, to her hand so as to slowly lead them to the fountain she had pointed to. How could he refuse her offer for it?" Oh quite well. My granddaughter Lorelei is a full woman now, and she is just amazing. She's trying to teach those tiki cats our language. I suspect some of the harmony is part of your blessing." No huge scandals this year, thank the goddess.

Cami was waiting outside of the hotel waiting for Summer her Girl Friend. The two had agreed to meet up there since it was Cami first time coming to the party. She was interested in seeing what would happen this year since it was party that something always happened at and that excited her. Cami wore a teal dress that went down to her knee. She wore gold bangles on her arms that jingled as she moved. "Sorry I am Late Cami." Summer called to her friend as she walked over. She wore gold dress that went to the floor with a drapped top. In her hair she changed out her normal pink flowers with gold ones. She took Cami's hand and Lead her into the Hotel
Cami Giggles as she was pulled in. "Summer you are never on time, but you look good." As she looked around the interior of the hotel her eyes went big. "wow this place is huge." She just stood there looking up. OCC: Summer Image does not seem to want to work Here you can find her cert

Soft eats flattened, tail slightly tucked. Where had the confidence gone? As Aurelia stood in front of the arching doorway, she felt her heart sink as low as her ears. Her tight purple dress suddenly felt too tight. Images flashed in her mind, a tumble of limbs and blankets, of desire and passion that gave way to an empty bed and the low feeling of abandonment. That was why she was here right? Answers. Wellspring could hide deep in Aly spring where she couldn't go, but he was here the past two Venus days. She didn't know what she'd say to him, but by Gaurdians she wasn't going to chicken out. The wolf girl swallowed hard and pressed inside, grabbing one of the coin pouches. She was going to find him. She simply had to. Ooc: tag for Dai!

Remy quickly glanced around the lobby, looking for his date. The only village he had ever been to was the one that Soliel lived at and this village had looked even grander as he had walked through it. His small world was quickly growing larger. First the trip through the village and now all the strange species of pae that he was seeing in the lobby, none that were Soliel. His tail was wagging anxiously behind him as he waited to meet up with her, but there was so much to see in the mean time. He walked over to one of the many statues that decorated the place, having no idea who any of the figures were supposed to be. It took everything in him to resist touching them. They looked like they could break if he even breathed on them too hard. Surely they were more sturdy than that though. Remy spotted the fountains next, they all looked delicious or at least sparkly, but he decided to hold off until he found Soliel to explore too much yet. Then he saw her... impossible to miss with her radiant beauty. Anyone standing in his immediate vicinity needed to take a step back or get whacked by his tail going full force.
