Putting this here so you can see what I have in mind for him.
S'kal has lived a fairly hard life, he has suffered a lot of losses personally. His dragon is the only one he trusts and likes. He is very much a loner, considering others to be too much trouble. He refuses to socialise or form bonds with other people because that would leave him open to being hurt again, so he is deliberatly solitary, giving no thought to anyone other than Goranth. He takes the bribes from the Lord Holder because, why not? And he doesnt interfere with the hold because he refuses to care for those poor saps in the mines. He wasn't always so callus, but life has been hard and he has become hard because of it. He accepted Gansley's offer to join the Nabol hold as a way to get out from under the control of the weyr and away from other dragonriders who he has fallen out with. As he refuses to toe the line like all the other good little minions.
Hopefully that keeps close enough to his brief, while making him playable for me.

Hey Tanakako!
I'm absolutely willing to let you adopt him but you need to already have a brown dragon. I' sorry that wasn't clear in the rules. The good news is you did roll a brown in your starter pack, so if you wanted to use that brown for this adoptable that's 100% okay and you're approved.
Otherwise you'll need to wait to win adult brown dragon art before you can adopt him.
Just let me know what you'd prefer! Apologies again for it not being clear.

No worries at all! You're 100% approved to adopt him using your Starter Pack brown so congratulations. He's yours. gaia_star
The intention is that at some point I might surprise folks and include dragon art with some of the adoptables. So anyone can just go in and nab 'em if they're interested.
Others will stay open as possible spring board points for players who maybe win a certain adult dragon as a blank slate, and don't know what to do with them. So they can come peruse the adoptables and pick one up.
Further down the road I might even include pre-made sheets with some. These would be for players who don't want to go through the hassle of creating a character, and can be assured these adoptables would get auto-approved and might save on time.
So lots of things I'd like to do with the adoptables thread, I'm just behind as I work on templates, hiring, and getting things running. gaia_star

I was originally going to make my tiny golden oldie a completely new character, but I just adore that little bit of history we’re given to work with, and all those pre-established relationships with mates and children to help my shy little self start some RPs.
