Mr. X At the crossroads, you finally wait for the beast to come, and it emerges from the darkness, hopeful. As it turns out, it just wanted some pets. You scoop part of its shadowy tail into your jar, and bring it back to X, who awards you 3 candies. (+1 for being dressed formally)
