Rina gasped in surprise when Seth suddenly caught her and turned her towards him. She made a muffled noise when he kissed, but quickly accepted it and kissed him back. This is what she wanted! This is what she needed! Rina put her arms around him desperately, not wanting the kiss to stop. There was deep blush on her face when he told her he loved her, and she smiled before they kissed again. She was so happy! When their kiss finally ended, she buried her face into his chest, remembering how nice it felt to do it. "I love you too. I love you so much.." Gosh, this was all so crazy! They fell in love so fast, and now they're going through this darn jungle to prove it all.
However, her happy moment was short-lived when Seth told her to stop moving, and she quickly tried to hide herself in his chest, not even wanting to see the snake. She'd freak out if she did! She can't stand the sight of them. Rina was visibly shaking when she heard rustling in the grass nearby, and tried to listen to Seth's heartbeat to calm herself down. No, no, no, she just hates snakes! They're all slithery and scaly, and they just scare her! "P-Please tell me it's gone.." She said, quietly. If that thing comes anywhere near her, she'll freak out!

"I haven't hear you say thay for quite a while now." he faintly chuckled. Seth lifted her up as fast as he could; unfortunately, the snake had beat him to it and striked Rina's legs. Strangely, the snake had hung onto Rina's leg, unwilling to release its bite. He reached out and stroked against the natural flow of the scales, from the tail to the head. Strangely, it decided to let go. Instead of killing it, he had made the decision to release it. There's no possible way for him to kill his own.. 'kin', right? Seth, horrified, asked her about her wounds worriedly as he examined her thoroughly. "Rina- Rina! Are you okay? Did you get bitten-" he quickly set her down by the tree, this time, checking around for any strange creatures. He noticed the bite marks on her leg, and noticed two rows of teeth marks rather than one. It was then that he had let out a breath of relief. On the other hand, he decided to keep quiet about it, and watch her reaction. "Do you have anti bacterial soap on you. Ah, I doubt you'd bring it-" he sighed, pouring water onto the wound and washing any excess dirt off her legs.
Rina cried out in a pain when she felt something sharp pierce her ankle, jumping slightly and hugging Seth tighter. She was already crying profusely by the time he made the snake let go of her leg. It had frightened that she had been bitten, and by a snake nonetheless. Was it poisonous? Was her leg gonna go green? Was it gonna fall off? She was extremely worried, breathing quickly, mumbling incoherently, and sobbing. The pain did not lessen at all when Seth began to clean her wound, occasionally flinching away from his touch before relaxing again. Her voice wasn't working properly, taking off her bag and handing it to Seth, allowing him to search through it for any first aid tools. She was pretty sure she had disinfectant and bandages, as well water, sandwiches, and the jungle animal book. Hiccuping, she finally said, "W.. Was it poisonous? Am.. I gonna d.. Have to go to the hospital again?" She decided on a different choice of words rather than just saying 'die', she doesn't wanna think about that right now. Rubbing her eyes, she did her best to calm her breathing and stop crying, trying to focus back onto her mission. Look, she wasn't gonna stop now! Even if it was a snake that bit her! Even if it's gonna be the last thing she does, she's gonna do it for sure!

He remained silent, smirking slightly when the girl started to panic over how she would 'die' according to the way she quickly changed her vcabulary. "You won't die. Maybe lose a leg or two but you won't die." he joked about yet kept a stern facial expression. His hands quivered the moment he opened her bag pack. Dear lord who brings these kinds of strange things. He broke out into laughter. "How did you manage to fit all these stuff in your bag?" he asked, wiping the single tear that came out. He sighed and gently applied disinfectant on the wounded area. "We'll leave this as it is. It'll get infectant if you close it up. You'll be alright, don't worry." he reassured. However, it had gotten strange dark and cold all of a sudden. Is that it? Drastic weather changes in the jungle? He sighed. They'll keep moving forward for now, until they find a spot safe enough for them to rest. He returned her bag to her but not before changing the bandages on his arm. Damn, it hurts. He leaned in and kissed her forehead, then a soft peck on the lips to stop her crying. "I'll carry you this time. You can go ahead and rest." he carried her as if carrying a baby and he chuckled.
"Sorry for not being able to protect you, Rina.." he frowned.
Rina became upset when Seth started to laugh and joke about her leg. She didn't care if he was trying to be funny to calm her down, that was not what she needed right now. She got bitten by a snake, one of her worst fears, and he's just laughing as she's crying! Turning away from him, there was big, serious frown on her face. Why is he being so insensitive? It's not funny! It's natural for her to worry and what's gonna happen to her after being bitten by some kind of jungle animal! Her attention moved to the sky, surprised it had gotten so dark. They were still here! No way they can stay here overnight; it'll get even more dangerous! Don't animals become more active at night? Just that thought alone ran shivers down her spine. What are they gonna do? Rina was wrapped up in her head when Seth kissed her forehead, only snapping back when he kissed her on her lips. She pouted and looked away from him when he picked her up, still upset. However, she felt a little guilty with the last thing he said, and leaned against him in comfort. "It's OK.." She said quietly, rubbing her eyes. Gosh, they have to find the Orchard soon, she wants to get out of here..

The man continued on, carrying his possible soulmate in his arms as he struggled through the muddy area. "That just now was a bullsnake, it wasn't poisonous, don't worry." he comforted her. It was getting hard to see eventhough his pupils had adjusted to match his environment. This jungle was just strangely darker, it was as if they had entered a black hole. He shifted his partner to the left of his torso whereas his right hand extended forward, the flames on his palm acted as a source of light though it didn't make much of a different as the flames were black. He clicked his tongue in annoyance, why now? He questioned. His body as warm as always, adjusting itself to cope with the cold weather. "You cold? Does your leg still hurt? Rest up now. I'll get us there i-" his words were cut off the moment he stepped on a soft terrain. His legs were stuck. His eyebrows cringed as a surge of panic rushed through his veins the moment his feet felt like it was being swallowed. No way, there's no way this can be..
His right hand moved downwards. "Ah, s**t. I didn't think there would be quick sand here. Get off, Rina. You're going to have to make a short jump, okay? I not dragging you into this mess." he looked around, trying hard not move in case he sinks even further. With one small push, he gently pushed her onto the stable land in front of them. What more are they going to go through just to get to the damn orchard? Has anyone even died here before- he shook his head, dismissing such thoughts. He looked to his left, a small light floated passed in the distance and that sight was enough to send shiver down his spine. "F***" he yelled as he struggled and by the time he came to his senses, he had sunk down to his waist. "Damn it. Sorry. I'm sorry I'm such a useless person." he sulked, gradually feeling anxious as his foot starts to turn numb.
Rina was still a little upset as Seth reassured her; he still laughed while she was scared! It wasn't nice! She nuzzled against his chest as it got colder, becoming worried as it got darker. How much longer were they gonna be in here for? She wanted to go home.. No, she wanted to go to the hospital first! There she could get clean and fixed up! However, she jumped in his arms when he stopped speaking, and clung to him tightly. "W-What?"
She gasped slightly when she realized Seth was sinking, and almost didn't want to let go out of worry. She still did it anyway, and winced as soon as she got to stable ground. The pain in her ankle was still there! That didn't matter though! He was sinking! He could die! Turning towards him quickly, she sprouted her wings, and grabbed his hands. "You're not useless! Quit saying that!" She cried out, tugging on his arms hard. However, tiny little Rina was only 107 pounds, and there was no way in heck her skinny little arms were gonna lift Seth, who was probably over 150. "Turn into a dragon or something, Seth! You're too heavy!" She said again, her wings flapping like crazy in obvious effort. The idea of flying over this jungle entirely had come to her, but she thought that she probably wouldn't be able to find the Orchard if she did that. If you could fly and find the place, there would definitely a lot more people, and a lot more info about the magical place. It didn't matter to her right now though, she would keep this up all night if it meant Seth wouldn't sink any further into the deadly sand.

"Stop! I'll sink further this way-" he exclaimed after feeling the mud swallowing him past his waistline. Damn it. He can't stay here any longer. He winced in pain as she grabbed ahold of his right arm.
That's right.
He sighed, bewildered by the fact that he had forgotten he was able to shapeshift but the sad thing is that he'd collapse straight after he returns to normal. It wouldn't hurt to try, though. It wasn't long till black smoke covered the whole area and a loud roar could be heard. His wings rugged and torn, his scales dull and raptured.
"I don't think it worked, Rina. I can't move." he answered. His voice was a deep baritone, singularly clear and far-reaching. His wings completely stuck in the pit amongst the quicksand. He managed to stop himself from sinking but now, with his size, he's now stuck in the hole. A complete perfect fit. On the bright side, at least he stopped sinking. Forcefully pulling his right wing out, a tearing noise could be heard which was followed by a painful roar. With Rina pulling at him and him desperately pushing himself out, he managed to escape the deadly wrath of the quicksand. His golden eliptical orbs glowing in the dark as he hid amongst the shadows, afraid that he might frighten his companion with his current appearance.
"Sorry. I think it'd be best if you don't look at me right now."

Rina was surprised when black smoke suddenly filled air, and she yelped in surprise at the loud roar. She was in awe at his dragon form, she didn't really think about how big he would be, but he was big. Well, considering her size, he's probably a few times smaller to the average sized person. She was in shock again at hearing his voice, finding it intimidating. She wasn't scared though, she knew it was Seth. When he tried to escape again, she did her best to help but tugging on his horns, gasping a little when she heard the tear and the roar that followed it.
Now she felt worse than ever. Her face was pale and emotionless as concrete as he stowed away in the shadows. She followed him, and rested near his foot, her wings disappearing as she touched the ground. She felt sick, and it wasn't because of the snake bite.
"Why do you keep saying sorry?" She said with a sad sort of laugh. "I'm the one who should be saying it-! I'm the one who's always hurting you! It's always me!" She said, crying out towards the sky. She wasn't afraid of more animals coming near, no way they would come around a giant dragon. "Back at the Halloween festival, you could've died because you were protecting me! And now, with that stupid night, and all this on top of it! You almost coulda died in that sand, and you hurt your wing!" It was kinda surprising she wasn't crying. She was more angry at herself than sad. Plus, she had run out of tears. She's been crying far too much lately. "I don't know why I thought this would be easy; I don't know why I thought of something so stupid! I was just was so scared of you leaving me, and I was desperate! I.. I needed to show that I wasn't just willing to spend the rest of my life with you, but I wanted to as well!" Her eyes were now covered with her arms, not wanting to look at him. She was completely embarrassed. "That's what it means, right? When you were gone, it hurt. It literally hurt! And it just got worse! I never felt it before, and it just hurt so bad! I didn't know what to do, except to try and ignore and tell myself that I was fine, but it didn't work! As much as I wanted it to, it didn't.. It still hurts, Seth.. It still does.. I miss you! I love you!" She finally got out, before going quiet and curling up into a ball.
Was she overreacting? Was she saying too much? She didn't know, and she wasn't sure that she even cared. She was getting her feelings out, and it was something Seth had to hear. As much as she's masking all the anxiety she's feeling, and she wasn't even sure if she was masking it well, it's still there and she can't shake it off. Not as long as she loves him. It's pretty fair to say, she needs him now.

He remained silent, his golden irises staring straight at the succubus as she ranted on. His breathing was loud, his breath like hot air blowing at Rina. He couldn't quite return to his human form without collapsing in the next second either. His foot took a step forward, then pulled back once more. They were hurting each other. There was no one at fault here, he had started this whole mess.
"Sorry- No- I mean- sorry." he sighed, apologizing uncontrollably. He's been doing so ever since he came back. He couldn't help but let out a faint chuckle. By no means was he making fun of Rina, he simply recalled their past memories together and the promises they made. "You're right. It was stupid. I never planned on coming in the first place. This is a pain in the a** to be honest and I told you before. Don't blame yourself for what happened during Halloween. Saving you was my priority. Like what you said, I was scared. I was scared to death that you might be gone and I'd never see you again. No one knew what was going to happen. Thankfully no tragedy happened that night. So, what has passed is past." he countered. Speaking of which, what had happened to Enya since? No, this isn't the time for him to think about others. This time, no more beating around the bush. He's going to be honest with her. To settle their problems once and for all.
"Do you remember what happened after the Fall Ball? I walked you back home and that was when I confessed to you for the first time. To be honest, I wasn't completely in love with you previously. I wasn't even sure if what I felt could be described as love but.. I was happy. Remember the promise we made back then? That we'd hold on to each other no matter what happens? That we'd pull through? I flew back to Britain for an arranged marriage. My cell phone was stripped away from me and with the household keeping a close eye on my actions, there was no way for me to get in touch with you and.. I broke our promise. I gave up and I thought it would be best if you'd give up on me. I mean, they threatened to harm you, what else could I possibly do? I simply thought it'd be best to let you go but somehow.. I can't seem to bring myself to do so. I ended up protesting. It was quite a huge hassle but they had decided to call it off. I was 'disowned' but that's alright, I was never a part of the family to begin with. They were targeting the other party's company inheritance in the future and I was simply one of their pawns for them to achieve what they want. I know you've been hurting for that period of time. I shouldn't have come back, perhaps.. you would've been happier that way. I'm sorry for being selfish- I've only been thinking of myself all these while- I'm sorry for neglecting your feelings- I'm sorry I've caused you so much grief. I'm just.. sorry."
His voice quivered greatly, on the verge of tears as he spoke. He had desperately held it back. He had no right to shed such shameful tears. He couldn't help but let out a dry laugh. He knows that, she's been telling him that ever since he came back. "Let's not bring up that night, alright? You were drunk. You're a succubus, of course it's normal for you to engage in sexual activities- I'm sorry for what I said yesterday. I wasn't thinking straight." he apologized and went silent straight after. He had a lot to say but he didn't know where to start. He stepped out of the shadows, his nose poking at Rina.
"It's going to be alright. We've already made it this far and even if the orchard doesn't exist, even if we won't catch a glimpse of our future, that doesn't change the fact that you're the only person I'll ever love. The only person that I'll ever want. You know, if I get to choose how I want to live my life again, I'd choose to go through that small, dark alley in Downtown Soleil on a sunny morning, and I'd run into a short kid who's wearing a spongebob printed shirt and jean shorts. I'm going to invite her to go grab a bite at Fiesta and she's going to tell me her name's Rina. Because no matter how many lifetime there is, I'd choose you and I'd keep choosing you. I'll find you and I'll choose you. So lift your chin and look at me. Just who exactly is the one who's so persistent about coming here? The kid I know wouldn't crumble so easily. She's strong willed and that's exactly what I like about her but that doesn't mean I like you any less right now. Come on, stay strong. We'll pull through this together."

Rina was still curled up on the ground when Seth started to talk, wanting nothing else except for the ground to eat her up right then and there. His 'sorry's made her feel a little better, but not as much as she had hoped it would. The moist dirt actually felt kinda nice and cool against her bare arm, and it was comforting, too. At first, she felt terrible when he went on, remembering that he was super annoyed about coming here. But, saving her was his priority? She had passed out from heat exhaustion, after all.. And like he said: The past is in the past. Maybe she shouldn't be worrying so much about what they had done, what she had done, and focus on what's going to happen. That's why she had wanted to come here, she wanted to look into their future; she wanted to know!
Sitting up, she still wasn't facing him when she explained what had happened to him while he was in was Britain. So that's why he didn't call, that's why he didn't come back! Oh, and she got so upset at him.. No, no, no, he said not to focus on the past! There's no way she can give up on Seth, no way, no how! Even though they met quickly, and fell in love just as quick, she still cared for him! She still needed him! No matter how much she may try and hide it or deny it! What would she have done if he never came back? Tears finally pricked the corners of her eyes when he forgave and apologized to her for that night, feeling a huge burden of guilt lift off her shoulders.
A smile slowly formed on her face when he began to talk about the day when they met, finding it hard to believe that all of this came about, just from bumping into each other on the street. She was wearing a Jake the Dog sweater, but Spongebob was certainly close enough. Rina giggled when he kept poking at her with his nose, and wiped her face after he had asked her to face him. It was definitely funny that he was saying this all in his deep dragon voice, but it didn't matter. It was still Seth saying these words, and just the fact that it was him made her happy.
Her body turned to face him, and staring at him with big and bright eyes, "I love you, Seth." She hugged his nose, even though it was big and it was a little awkward, it was a hug she enjoyed nonetheless. "I love you. I love you. I love you." Repeating herself over and over, just to make sure he knew. She kissed his nose, he probably might not even feel it, but she still did it anyway. "I would still look for the giant that bumped into me on the street, and he would tell me his name was Seth. He'd take me to the beach, and then take me to his house after I fell asleep and make me spaghetti. I'd always choose him!" She said happily, mimicking him. She kissed his nose again, and held on to him tightly, not wanting to let go.

It surprised him that Rina wasn't afraid of him at all. He had assumed she'd freak out a little when she saw hiw he looked. He snorted. Her lips felt ticklish against his nose. He lifted his head a little as he grew frustrared at her words. "For you to so carelessly wander into some stranger's house on the first day.. how dare you. I'm a man, too you know. What if something happened. WHAT IF I WASN'T AS NICE AS YOU THOUGHT. Skip out the taking you home part. I know I'd still find you the next day." he growled but soon chuckled a little after. He lifted his nose up as she held onto him, dangling her in mid air for a short while before putting ber back down.
He leaned into her touch as she continuously told him she loves him. "Rina. I can't promise that we won't lash out at each other like this in the future. I'm pretty sure I'd make you cry again but this time, I'll make sure I properly communicate with you. After I finish throwing my tantrums, that is. Even so.. are you sure you're fine with someone like me?" he asked, gradually shifting his gaze away from her.
"I.. Well- I know it's probably early right now but.. I hope you'd marry me some day and have a family of our own. Yeah. I'd like that."

Rina had now started to kinda cuddle with Seth's nose, hugging him tighter. She was so happy! His frustration was a little funny to her, "Weren't you the one who brought me into your house? I told you where I lived, but you brought me to your house anyway." She said, matter-of-fact tone. A yelp came from her when he suddenly lifted his head up and dangled her from his nose, and she giggled on the way down. Nuzzling her head into his nose, she had completely forgotten about the pain in her ankle. "I'm not just 'fine' with you Seth, I want you. Only you. I love you." She said clearly, for him to understand that she was devoted to him. And she didn't mean sexually! Her face brightened up when he said he hoped for them to marry and to start a family, and hugged him tighter than ever before. "R-Really?! Is this a p-proposal..?" She said with obvious delight and excitement.
Rina's hands were still tightly wrapped around Seth's nose, when she noticed a light not too far away, it was actually pretty close. It wasn't something unnaturally bright, but something was definitely there, like the moon was shining down on it or something like that. It has to be something magical then! Reluctantly letting go of Seth, she crawled to where the light came from, and looked back at him to motion for him to follow her. Pushing past a bush, she froze when she saw where the light was shining. It was definitely something that wasn't there before.
It was a fancy and very earthy at the same time, a large gate covered in flora and winding wood branches. There was a stone, around 3 feet tall and slightly covered in moss in front of it. It was smooth to the touch, and when Rina pressed her palm against it's face, words suddenly began to scrawl themselves onto it.
Of no use to one, Yet absolute bliss to two. The small boy gets it for nothing. The young man has to lie or work for it. The old man has to buy it. The baby’s right, The lover’s privilege, The hypocrite’s mask. To the young girl, faith; To the married woman, hope; To the old maid, charity.
What am I?
"SETH! IT'S THE ORCHARD, IT'S REAL, IT'S REAL!" She yelled, jumping up and down a little. "It's a riddle!" Now she was really excited! They could see into their future! They could see if they were soulmates! But this riddle stood in their way, and it sounded a little confusing. She read it again, and then started to think aloud. "What's something that an old man has to buy, but a young man has to lie or work for it? I'm immediately thinking love." However, nothing happened when she said it, so that obviously wasn't it. Oh, she wanted to get in, she didn't want to wait any longer! They've been through enough as it is, they deserve to get in! "What do you think, Seth?"

"You were sleeping like a pig for pete's sake-" her response was frowned upon and he simply let out a small chuckle at her following words. He was enjoying their little moment of silence until he came to a realization of what he had just said.
s**t.
"N-no- no, no- That's not what I meant- I'm not saying I want to marry you, not at all! No wait- it's not that I don't want to marry you- I- well- Uh-" he stuttered and eventually, he gave up trying to explain. He was never good at that in the first place but seeing her getting so giddy over this trivial matter, he couldn't help but laugh. He was surprised when there were rays of light shining not far from them. He was awestruck at the sight of it. Who knew it actually existed: Love's Orchard.
"Yeah, I see it. Rina, get on my back, what if something happens-" his right wing had hovered over her almost instantly as he pulled her towards him. This wasn't just any ordinary jungle, it was enough to push them to the verge of giving up. "I don't know why but the first thing that came to mind was the word 'sex' but babies don't need sex-" he answered, very much puzzled by the strange riddle. They had come all this way and now what-s standing between them and the fruit is this hell of a riddle. That's pretty frustrating if you ask me.
"It can't be love, can it? No, no it's not." he shook his head. He was horrible at solving riddles. He never really liked them in the first place.

"It is definitely NOT sex, Seth." Rina said, a little surprised that was his first thought. Sitting down, she placed her chin in her hand in thought. There was no point in thinking to herself, since they had to figure this out together. "Well, since it's of no use to one and bliss to two, it's obviously something a couple does together. But the 'hypocrite's mask' line confuses me, and it's throwing me off. Uhhm, it could be a hug. Or money, in a sense. But, wait, no, it can't be money. Maybe trust or a hug?" She rambled on. Trust sounded like it could work. She could be overthinking it though. What are non-sexual things that couples do? They go on dates, they hug, they cuddle, and they.. kiss! Duh, it must be a kiss! Babies deserve kisses, it of no use for one person alone, but she doesn't understand how it's a hypocrite's mask. "Maybe it's a kiss, it's just that some of the lines confuse me.." It is called Love's Orchard after all, a place for couples to find out whether they're soulmates or not, and have a chance to look into their future and see how things turn out for them. After being scared out of your wits in a jungle and almost killed, it'd be pretty hard to solve a riddle; especially if a couple hadn't reconciled like she and Seth just did!
