After every performance of these deep, heavy social-issue-driven plays, someone in the audience says they want to see this show go on the road and they're going to donate to help that happen. I love my art.

On the last day of my play's run, on my birthday, a teenage boy stood up to give a comment at the end of our show that he, too, was interested in theatre. He was helping put on a show about MLK Jr, and after watching our show he could think of ways to make his better. I felt like my job as an actor was justified in his words. We're affecting the future in a positive way. :')
