( You mean you haven't been? ) Aww... What's with that look? the witch asks, a sarcastic sad tone in her voice. He doesn't trust me? That hurts so much. A fake sob followed right after.Kate sighs. "To give you the short version of what she said; Yes. She'll be a good little witch tonight."

Monster smirked as he continued his work, "Bet the long answer was more-" He stopped a moment as he cringed before shaking it off. "...Guess the time for small talk is over." He quickened his pace further, getting all the chains on the wall. "Strap me in, Kate?"

Nodding, she starts strapping each shackle to him. She would make sure each was securely on before moving to the next. A few minutes later, Monster was now chained to the wall. "There." Kate backs up once everything was set.

There are few situations more humbling than being strapped to a wall for the sake of safety, but Monster was still grateful all the same. "Thanks... Think you can make your way back out okay?"

She gives him a small smile. "Yeah. See you in the morning instead, hopefully." She turns and starts making her way back up to Monster's room.

Halfway up the steps, Kate turned and looked back towards the underground chamber. She felt awful leaving her blue friend alone down there, but it was probably for the best. That was until...Child, just stay. Poor Wolfy may need some company until the time comes. Besides, you can hold him down here in case he gets free.Hearing the witches words, she carefully thinks over her decision before ascending the rest of the way up. Maybe... I hope I'm strong enough to keep him here, though. My magic has been growing weaker after all. She closes the door and starts walking back down.

Monster waited as anxiety began to well within him, when he heard footsteps descending again. "...Kate? P-please don't, I'll be okay." Obviously he wasn't going to be okay, but no matter how badly he wanted company, it was just too risky to be near him, especially with the night setting in...
