Daniel glanced up and grinned at her. "Good job. See if you can do it again. Practice makes perfect, right?" He sighed and lied on his back, looking up at her with an amused face. "It's fun to view things from a different angle...~"
(My posts are so shitty... xD This is what I get for taking Nyquil.)

[Lol, it's cool.]
Strawberry looked over at him before looking back at the target. It was fun to shoot, but she had had enough for now. Her fingers were starting to get sore and she was sure she had irritated her cuts from the other day. The blonde set the bow down, stepped over Danni and laid on the grass beside him.
"You're right." She said softly, her braid landing across his arm.

Daniel glanced over at his arm as something brushed it, noting it was the other's hair. He left it alone, looking back up at the sky with a bemused look. "Done shooting already? Shame. Watch you lose your touch tomorrow." He laughed softly, nudging the other with a grin.

[Feeling any better dear?]
Strawberry laughed and nudged him back. "That's fine, I just shoot to spend time with you." She said matter of factly. Archery was fun but she didn't care that much about it.
"How did you get into archery?" The blonde asked, turning on her side and propping her head up on her hand to look at him.

(-Insert childhood story- And no, I'm not. ; n; I keep sneezing and it's just ick--)
Daniel blushed a bit, looking away. May as well tell her, but it was still childish in his opinion. "Mmnh... When I was a kid, about six, I think, I got this toy set of arrows that came with their own little bow. My mother had gotten it for me because I was into all that 'Cowboys and Indians' crap. I messed with it and learned how to shoot, rather crappily but still, and then she took me to my first class about four years later. So, seven years of self-taught experience, and four with a teacher, if you total up the eleven years I've been shooting." He sighed softly and closed his eyes. "Wish I had that old thing still.."

[Awww *huggles*]
Strawberry smiled softly as she listened to him talk about his childhood. She pictured a a six year old Danni, in love with cowboys and Indians and getting his first toy bow. She laughed softly.
"That sounds fantastic." She said softly. "I wish I had something like that from my childhood. A nice memory that has shaped me some way." The blonde added, flopping back onto her back.

Daniel shrugged, closing his eyes with a sigh. "I was just lucky, I guess. Too bad my dad isn't around to see... I wonder who I'd be if he'd been alive all this time. If I even be here." The male frowned, sitting up. He was getting a bit depressed. He rocked onto his feet and grabbed his quiver and bow, readjusting the straps on his quiver before starting to shoot. Probably seemed weird to Ichigo-kun, but whatever.

Strawberry sat up and wrapped her arms around her knees, pulling them to her chest. She worried her bottom lip as she watched him. She had crossed a line.
"I'm sorry Danni." The blonde said softly. "I can't say I know how it feels." She added, thinking back to the years she had spent under her moms thumb. She had wished everyday her mom as dead. But she wasn't going to say that. It was insensitive and brought up too many things she had already moved passed.
"Thank you, for sharing this with me." The blonde smiled. "I really do enjoy spending time with you."

Daniel glanced over and smiled at her, a real smile. "It's fine Ichigo-kun. The past is the past, ne?" He shot an arrow, tsking as it hit a ring outside of the bulls-eye. "Damn." He sighed and tried a couple more times as he spoke, eyes always on the target but his voice never wavering. "It's the past that shapes us to be who we are now. If what happened to us hadn't happened, we probably would never had met, you know?" He chuckled, pausing for a moment before he looked at her. "And I would've hated to miss out on someone like you."
(Late response is late.)

Strawberry listened to his words carefully and had to concede his point. If her mother hadn't been the way she was then she would never be in Japan, living with her father or attending Ouran. And for the first time in her sixteen years the blonde found herself grateful for how things had turned out. Pain only lasted a little while, but the growth the pain causes stays forever. Strawberry had come out of her thoughts and looked up at the archer as he turned to look down at her and deliver his final words. They made the blonde blush but she found she couldn't look away from him.
"I'm just an average teenage girl." She said softly. She wasn't anything special, just another girl. Strawberry didn't take compliments well. They made her squirmy and made her cheeks flame.
