Occult Nekozawa The Faerie of Colors... interesting.. The Prince Of Darkness wondered how much Arillena knew about her kind. She had used the term, assumed, as if she were guessing. He silently made a reminder in his head to ask her when everything was taken care of. Umehito watched carefully as Arillena indirectly offered an idea. Her hesitation could have meant one of two things... She was unsure about the plan due to not attempting it before or The idea was dangerous. He glanced at The Fae's shadow, which had appeared to halt its movement.
Nekozawa saw the hope gleam in Shiny's eyes, perhaps the same gleam sparkled in his, but he would never know. Nekozawa nodded as Shiny asked her questions. He stayed patiently silent as they waited for the elf-like girl to reply. Arillena Ari considered her thought... It might just work... "Well, I have come to discover that I can... sort of match the auric wavelengths of other living beings, while simultaneously being able to heal and restore." She explained, her voice remaining calm- but bouncing back to its more familiar tone. "I've only ever used this with wilting plants and a few injured animals. Which is why I didn't think about earlier..." That... and... The only risks are the probability of the effect reversing onto me or the other side... Which had only happened a few times with some plants. The connection left Ari feeling drained and extremely dehydrated. Finishing her thought out loud she says, "...But, I always attempted those connections without unsealing my inner abilities so maybe..."She looked from Shiny to Nekozawa as if asking for their approval of her idea. "I may be able to accurately connect with Shiny's Fading Energy and restore it by matching my own. It is similar to the way that I linked with Belzenef earlier.. with my harp. Only this time I wouldn't be holding my Power within me..." She paused. "Doing this will also remove the magic I have sealing my other Fairy-like traits. We would have to be sure that No one would see me." She added quickly. The fallen star was quiet as she considered the option that Ari had described. It had definite merit, and Shiny could see that it was certainly a viable option to consider. "We can meet at my home, there would be no one around as I do not keep live-in servants. My only concern, however... you said that it could have a backlash effect. Please explain that a little further?" They were dealing with life energies, so this was definitely something she did not want to go into without ALL the facts and risks thoroughly explored beforehand.

"What more can you tell us that May explain why that is?" Ari looked up, Did I say that out loud? She cursed herself for being so negative. Both of her friends asked for a better explanation and Ari realized that she had been mumbling most of her last thought. "Oh- Of course." She thought for a moment, trying to think of the best way to explain her healing method... when she noticed one of the bushes near the bench. The seriousness of the topic made her temporarily forget they were in a garden. This particular bush appeared to be wilting slightly, as half its flowers did not bloom with the rest. "Hm... Perhaps I could show you?" She approached the wilted plant and turned her harp around. "I've found It works best with an instrument that can be played easily." She said strumming a few notes. "Along with the Specific Color in a living thing's Aura... I can also hear what it sounds like. Almost as if every life has it's own melody." As the sun vanished behind the walls of the Gardens maze Ari's harp began to glow softly. "If I can match the tune, I can sync the energies." The Wilted leaves shook slightly with the quiet tune from the harp. "By doing so... I have been able to restore or purify any weak or misplaced magic in the spirits of those I am connected to." As she said this, the flowers on the bush bloomed in the moonlight and were revealed to be roses. The light from Ari's Harp diminished and the song faded away and a white butterfly landed soundlessly on a newly bloomed rose. The Faerie turned back to her friends, feeling more confident. "One example of a Backlash that I've experienced is if The connection I make is broken- a better word would be interrupted I suppose... Then the defects of the life force I am connected to may over power my song and temporarily drain me." This had happened on her first try when Ari wasn't aware of her ability. "However, Shiny, since I draw my Power from the Natural Earth around us- There would be less of a risk if I were to help you, because your Power source if limited. If you can trust that I can do it, I will do my best to help you restore your light." She paused. "I should also mention that I've never connected with another person before, Human or not. So there's a chance that the connection will be different. Even with the Animals and plants I have found that It's possible for emotions and memories to be crossed." She looked from Shiny to Nekozawa as if saying 'Any questions?'

Then the defects of the life force I am connected to may over power my song and temporarily drain me." This had happened on her first try when Ari wasn't aware of her ability. She looked from Shiny to Nekozawa as if saying 'Any questions?'As Shiny watched Ari's interaction with the bush she couldn't help but smile. Restorative magic was such a wonderfully positive kind of energy. And if she understood Ari's explanation of the possible backlash properly, then the only real threat was that this could potentially drain her further. "Let me be sure I understand. If the you are unable to correctly sync to my aural color and melody during this process, my Light could end up flowing into you, instead of you being able to add to what is already inside me, yes?" Given that the worst that could happen from an excess of Light energy was a manic-like state of too many overly positive emotions and possible sparkliness, Shiny was not all that worried on that score. The emotions and memory exchange, however... "How old are you, Ari?" Shiny herself was a little over 200, and though she considered her existence in the Court to be incredibly monotonous and boring, there was a vast amount of learning and knowledge she had done in that time that could be rather overwhelming if thrust into a person's mind all at once.

We have have found the right energy source... He remained silent as he listen to Shiny's questions. Hm...

However It is less likely to happen if I remove the cover that keeps my abilities hidden." At Shiny's next question Ari frowned slightly. "Well.. I'm afraid I'm not sure." She said softly. "You see I... I can't remember anything before 10 years ago..." She paused for a moment realizing she'd never mentioned this to anyone but Xing... She took a deep breath. Might as well explain and save then from asking... "My apparent age is somewhere between 18 and 20, At least that what hospital records show..." The elf struggled to find the right words. Her voice shifted to the familiar timidness of before. "You see I was found 10 years ago unconscious in some ruins. The only memory I had was of a piece of my name." That's right. I had no idea where I was from, who my family is, what I was... Ari smiled weakly. "I didn't even understand I was Fey until Miss A- I mean, An old friend of mine helped me. It was from her that I received my full name today." She shrugged and turned to Nekozawa. "That's why I may appear to be unsure about my abilities Umehito. I'm most likely unaware of several..." She sighed. "As for my Actually age, we weren't able to figure out. It could be from 20 years - to several centuries..." Ari caught herself from rambling too much. "Sorry- Er, What does my age have to do with anything?" She asked politely.

"I ask because I existed for two hundred years before I decided to make this form and experience humanity. And while that makes me barely even a child in the eyes of the cosmos, I realize that in that time I've gained several lifetimes worth of knowledge. I thought, since you are of an elder race, the possible exchange might be less overwhelming if you were yourself older as well." "In either case that is only a possibility, and perhaps this process may even be fortuitous in bringing some of your own lost memories to the surface, oui?" Her smile returned, full of a bright hope that she had not felt for some time now. "I am certain we should try this. The risks seem minimal and if it helps... if it helps I shall be forever in your debt, ma petite fée. When can we meet? I have a walled garden courtyard in my home, which should make for an ideal place to perform the ritual."

"I see. And I agree the risks are small compared to the goal we seek." She smiled. "I hadn't thought of that..." Memories don't vanish... Ari recalled, They merely remain hidden... The Fey-girl giggled at the thought of calling her Technique a 'ritual'. "Your Garden Sounds perfect." Ari turned to Nekozawa. "Will you meet us there as well Umehito?" She asked. "It may be a good idea for a third party with proper insight to be present... Just in case." She looked to Shiny for confirmation.

Nekozawa grinned as Both Shiny's and Ari's Eyes seemed to light up with new found hope. Belzenef rolled his eyes. 'Can we go home now? This is getting really boring.' He hissed silently as he eyed a butterfly on the newly bloomed flowers. Nekozawa ignored him. It sounded like the two girls would end up helping each other if all goes well. Then Arillena once again included him. Her reasoning was agreeable. If anything were to go wrong it is unlikely that anyone outside of them would understand what was happening. Nekozawa eyed the Faerie's shadow. It appeared normal now, perhaps lying in wait... Without raising his silent concerns, Nekozawa Nodded silently. "If that is what you both wish I will attend." He said turning to Shiny, It was her house after all. She may not wish for the Prince of Darkness to Make an appearance in her home. If She willed it he would join them. Silently he was worried About the Darkness that Often seemed to rise in Ari's Spirit. Though now it appeared dormant... He wanted to be there, Just in case.

She looked to Shiny for confirmation. ((Nope, we're good ^_^ )) "It would have required some of the most powerful magic I know of to actually remove your memories entirely." The fallen star nodded as she echoed Ari's own thoughts on the matter. "Most other reasons for memory loss, be it mystical or mundane, are because those parts of the mind are obscured or hidden in some way or another. So perhaps this will do us both a bit of good." She smiled once again, before glancing over at Nekozawa upon Ari's suggestion he be present. "I do not object, and I am always happy for the company of friends... though if you wish to avoid contact with that amount of Light for your own sake, Nekozawa, I would understand. I do not think your proximity is a threat to me anymore, though; feelings of friendship are, in their own way, a source of Light." Which is probably why it happens that, a few days after this meeting, Shiny accidentally starts glowing when she confesses her love for Mori and plants a smooch on the stoic host.... but shhh, that's still in the future, technically!

Belzenef groaned silently from boredom, Oh dear Bastet, Please kill me now. I can't take anymore of this Friendship Crap' Even the Prince of Darkness felt slightly brighter. But... In a way that didn't harm him from the inside. He wondered how that could be... "Do not worry about me Miss Shiny." He said. "I will join you, it is better to be safe than sorry."

Occult Nekozawa Nekozawa nodded, Amnesia definitely explains her unsureness. He chuckled quietly in response to Shiny's Theory of Friendship and Light. "Perhaps you are right." Belzenef groaned silently from boredom, Oh dear Bastet, Please kill me now. I can't take anymore of this Friendship Crap' Even the Prince of Darkness felt slightly brighter. But... In a way that didn't harm him from the inside. He wondered how that could be... "Do not worry about me Miss Shiny." He said. "I will join you, it is better to be safe than sorry." Ari smiled, The Prince of Darkness can deal with light better than he knows... "In that Case..." Ari looked up into the night sky. "Oh, it appears we've been here quite a while." She giggled softly. "When shall we meet and get started?" She asked excitedly. She would be more than ready now if asked, but perhaps they all needed some rest? It was late... The butterfly that Belzenef was staring at fluttered and landed on Ari's Harp. "You need rest too Missy, There's no way I'm letting you try this without proper sleep!" Ari's eyes widened. "Shush! You're so loud..." She moved the harp behind her back and smiled weakly. "Heh-heh..."

Shiny spoke, even as she eyed the harp and butterfly poking out from behind Ari's back with open, albeit also amused, curiosity. "A... friend of yours?"

There was a Black Magic Club meeting tomorrow, But Reiko and the others would survive without him. Besides, this was much more important, He'd get Shiny's Address before the evening ended. Nekozawa wasn't very surprised when the Insect began to speak. It seemed natural that a member of such a folk would have a familiar of some form. He looked at Belzenef and chuckled again. 'What's so funny? Can I eat him?'

Ari grinned, "After school is alright with me~" The Butterfly flew back over her head and flutter before her. "Friend? Of hers? Meh, Maybe sometimes...heh heh." "Oh you're mean." She giggled, I guess it's alright... It's not like they would be too surprised. "Yeah, This is Faolan. He's a Shape Shifting Sprite... At least that What I call him." As if confirming her claim, Faolan landed on the ground and with a puff of silver smoke turned into a blue and white colored Wolf-like Creature. "Pleased to meet you, Umehito Nekozawa of the Shadow Path, Shiny Rayonnant of the Starlight Path." Standing on his back legs he saluted. "Well, We had better get home for some rest then. Oh!" From her back pocket Ari puled out a small notebook. "Shiny could I get your Address?"
