My Wii fried the memory card that had my Colosseum and XD data, so I can't do anything with those games now. The save files are read as either nonexistent or corrupted beyond recognition, depending on the game. Sad, because I had some great Pokemon in XD.
I could get a Jirachi off of mine, if it wasn't so time-consuming to get it into X. I brought my Ruby team over two nights ago, and never again will I bring something from Hoenn to Kalos in one session.

o_o' Oh my... That's weird. Why would it do that? I know! It's just so much work bringing them over. Send them to this game, that game, and finally one last game. Not sure if you can send them to White/Black instead of Diamond/Pearl.

Once again, still weird. I've never had that problem before and I use to play for hours. I would have thought they would change that with White's release. *shrugs* Oh well. From game, to game, to one last game.

Exciting news for anyone who's played since the original generations: someone has developed a program that can convert Gen I and II Pokemon data into files that can be read by all the newer games, including X and Y. There are a few limitations, however:
* Since shininess and gender are tied to IVs in Gen II, and to a number called the PID in all future generations, it is not always possible to preserve IVs perfectly, as the program would prefer to keep gender and shininess the same as opposed to stats. The program, as I understand it, makes the closest approximation that can pass through the bank's hack checks.
* If you plan to bring your Pokemon into X and Y, you will have to delete all moves that are illegal as of Gen V. For example, if I were to bring in my starter Blastoise from Red, I would have to get rid of his Fissure, since that was a Gen I TM that cannot be learned by Blastoise from Gen III onwards.
* Some special equipment is required if you want to transfer Pokemon that are on a physical cartridge, as opposed to a ROM.
* I am unsure of whether this program can read Pokemon that were caught in non-English games. I'm about to test it with my Vietnamese Crystal save file and will report back with the results. Update: It does not recognize Vietnamese Crystal at all, and does a kind of "does not compute" thing when it attempts to read Green save files.

I'm reading the development thread, and the guy says he's working on foreign language support. Vietnamese Crystal and translated versions of Green may still not work, because the main issue is that the program doesn't recognize alternate character maps, and those games use custom ones. However, if you have, say, a Spanish copy of Yellow, you will someday be able to transfer its Pokemon.
I should also note that you may need several additional programs and a Pokecheck account if you want to send the converted Pokemon to X and Y. The program I've found only works to bring them to the GBA and DS games.

Ever since I was a child, I loved Pokemon (I still do). But I lost my enthusiasm in watching the rest of the episodes (from Unova and beyond). The series is becoming boring and uninteresting neutral

Me too! Although I thought the B&W, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum generations were lame. X & Y are fantastic, though!! I still like the early animation episodes the best though. And they need to bring Gary back. It was a lot more interesting when that obnoxious rivalry was going on.
I've even got a Pokemon-themed avatar in the runnings in the Avatar Arena currently. 3nodding If anyone wouldn't mind voting for them, I'd appreciate it very much!
