For people who don't know, I'm Jenn. uvu I joined waaaay back when I first came onto Gaia a few years ago. (I was Jennyss729 back then.) Zelda's got a special place in my heart, but I also love Ace Attorney and Golden Sun and various other crap.
Also roleplaying is my lifeblood coughs and I've gotten soooo much better since I first posted in here

Hello, everyone!
I'm Leonidas Peridot, though mainly known as "Leo". I've been in this guild since December of 2010-three months after I joined Gaia- and although I may not be a major Legend of Zelda fan, I love the series nonetheless, and often stay up to date on information about the games. I've been pretty nonexistent from the guild since 2012, but it hasn't hampered my roleplaying nonetheless, and I've gotten a lot better.
As for myself, I'm currently in my first year of college within the Veterinary Technology program, and I've been unable to play any Zelda games due to not having any game systems. Hopefully sooner or later, I'll have a 3DS and a Wii U (Legend of Zelda special edition), and be the proud owner of Hyrule Warriors, A Link Between Worlds, the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time, and have a copy of the Hyrule Historia displayed in my room. ^^
It is rather annoying, but I've pretty much decided to wait until we get back to the states to get a new one. I'd have to order one online and I'm not comfortable with that, cause you don't know if you get what you order ya know?
That's why I don't mind paying extra to get something I can look at in person. I don't care if it's half the price on the internet, you can't guarantee anything. After shipping to Canada, it's probably about the same anyway.

Oh, hell yes, it's been a while. I remember roleplaying when I was in high school and now I'm going into my second year of university. I don't know what happened. And nothing wrong with have multiple interests - that would get boring fast if it was just Zelda.
And let's not even begin with me.
As for roleplaying, if you have an idea, shoot it my way. I would love to be the grammar demoness again and bounce between threads like my life depended on it in order to keep up. I think making a difference in that forum was probably my fondest memory around here. Plus, the roleplaying forum could a fairy. Our focus so far was bring life back to the main page before touching the other forums.

The roleplaying thing goes for you too - bring any ideas to me in a PM so I can give it my stamp of approval. I encourage anyone to start something at the point.
It's been a while since I had a new Zeldagame too. I'm still in very interested because my friend hounded me to go back and three-heart Zelda games that I already beat with bigger challenges that I never bothered with before. For one, I couldn't get any heart upgrades or any sword beyond the Master Sword. What a jerk.
And huh, I'm kind of surprised we don't have a Hyrule Warriors thread yet. That's something kind of relevant. I'll fix that.

Exactly! That's why I'm waiting 'til we get back in the States. Plus I prefer to buy from America and I'm in England the shipping is way high! The buying from England is that it's the same price it would be in Dollars but it's more expensive cause of the Exchange Rate. Cause for each pound it's 1.70 dollars or so. I believe today it's like 1.74.

Oh, I didn't even think about the exchange rate. Not that I can keep up with it or anything since it changes too often for me to care about it.

I have to if I want to do anything off base. We haven't been able to do much cause anything we want to do may look cheap (100 pds) but when exchanged into dollars it's high.

Ew, I wouldn't like that. Things already add up quickly and I don't even want to think about the exchange rate. I would be afraid to buy anything.

Hi everyone! My name is Aria. I'm new to this guild, so it'll probably take me a second to look around, but I hope to contribute good conversation, smiles, and maybe even art. It's nice to meet you all! ^-^ I'm a big fan of Zelda, though I am very much the casual gamer. I consider myself a big fan because I really enjoyed the games that I have played, the soundtracks I've heard, the character designs, and discussing interesting opinions on storyline and LoZ myth. I don't speed run, I haven't played all of the games (and probably wont get to play the really old ones), I haven't read the hyrule historia, and I can't afford to buy the latest stuff. Hopefully this doesn't bother anyone. I've had some run-ins with other Zelda fans that have told me I can't be a fan if I haven't done those things, so sorry in advance if I offend anyone. ^^;

Hi, and welcome to the guild!
Thank you! I'm glad to be here 3nodding Btw, there aren't rules really posted anywhere. I was wondering if I could post a crafting cosplay help thread within the cosplay sub-forum space? I'm interested in making a costume for a con I'm going to, but I need advice, and thought it might be something fun to have here?

Go right ahead! Anything outside of the roleplaying forums are pretty relaxed so we won't bite if you choose to start a thread in the main section or in the cosplaying section.
As for not having the latest things, don't be concerned about it! If you played some of the games and enjoyed them, that should mean you're a fan. If that's not the way it works, then I would be rather concerned.
I'm Dioji by the way. I'm the vice captain so you can always ask me or the captain if you have any questions.

Welcome to the guild! emotion_hug And I'm not offended; my Zelda collection is pretty nonexistent nowadays, but I'm still a huge fan due to my love for the series... and lots of wiki reading. ^^

Alright, then I can't wait to get to it! whee Thank you ^-^ Haha I'm glad to hear that heart I've literally been kicked out of groups on other sites because I didn't know enough information about the games or have enough experience playing them, so I'm really happy I found somewhere more laid back. 3nodding And it's good to meet you, Dioji! 4laugh I'll definitely be sure to contact you or the captain if anything comes up.

heart Thank you so much redface I haven't actually ever used the wiki before. Do they have information on LoZ myths? I love stories that some fans can come up with whee I've always use the ZeldaDungeon.net or ZeldaInformer.com for information. xP
