"Unedited Familiar Colorist
Individuals who are able to color familiars only! They will NOT be allowed to do edit work on familiars, and will not be allowed to work on full-sized pets. This is a color position only! NOTE: All familiar colorists start on No-edits, but can eventually gain rank to do edits and things such as familiar bribes. "

Meaning in this hire, they're looking at how you color only, not edits. If you do get hired, you'll eventually be able to do edits, but they are unneeded for applying. Basically, there is no point to doing edits now.

Are you using the newer version of SAI, or the older one Roman? I know that I wasn't able to open some files with the older version..

I'm guessing it must be older. xD However the totem files worked perfectly for me.

I would love (and appreciate!) it if you were able to provide an alternate file, similar to the ones used with the totem CYO contest, but if its a lot of trouble please don't worry yourself with it Uta. o uo-b <333 I'll be okay. xD

Why do you want to join SFS? Like anybody, I want to be able to work with Legends!!
But mostly, I'd really like to be able to expand my coloring skills. Working with a wide variety of linework helps me learn and grow in my own personal skills, especially when there's a ready supply of critiques and staff-aided-suggestions to kinda help me along the way. I've watched the staff here in my time on gaia and know most (if not all) here are more so masters in the art of coloring, but also have heart enough to be able to share their techniques and expect hints and cues for their own work without an ill thought. I love that aspect and would be greatly honored to be one of such a team.
Please post at least two samples using the template provided! Natural-esque, Eerie Dusk, Silent (OC) - Silent is a personal (wolf) OC of mine. Normally I wouldn't toss her in with the samples as I mainly just toy with it for gits and shiggles, but I just LOVED how she turned out on these lines and felt the need to share.
Other miscellaneous art you've created: There's a bajillion I wish I could add on here, but it would take me literally days to compile them all. If you really want to see some of these, please feel free to ping me a PM with your interest. :3

Thanks to everyone who has thus far entered. Due to technical difficulties with some of the files, we're going to extend this round for a week.

We're also thinking of getting some advertisement contest of some sort, since we are a new shop. More info on that soon!
