Please Describe the association: MELISSEUS was the rustic Daimon (Spirit) of honey and the art of beekeeping. He was variously described as a Titan, Kourete and Euboian Korybante. In Greek mythology, Melisseus ("bee-man"), the father of the nymphs Adrasteia and Ide who nursed the infant Zeus on Crete, was the eldest and leader of the nine Kuretes of Crete. They were chthonic daimones of Mount Ida, who clashed their spears and shields to drown out the wails of infant Zeus, whom they received from the Great Goddess, Rhea, his mother. The infant-god was hidden from his cannibal father and was raised in the cave that was sacred to the Goddess (Da) celebrated by the Kuretes, whose name it bore and still bears.

Loosely Based on (Myth - a fairy queen): Aynia,a celtic fairy queen of Ulster. She is also known as the fairy goddess of prosperity and abundance,seeing as how her and Ainé are one in the same.
Please Describe the association: Aynia, deemed the most powerful fairy in Ulster, and Ainé, queen of South Munster, are perhaps the same person, the mysterious and awful goddess once adored as Anu, or Danu.
Of the two, it is Ainé who especially seems to carry on the traditions of the older Anu, worshipped, according to the "Choice of Names", in Munster as a goddess of prosperity and abundance. Within living memory, she was propitiated by a magical ritual upon every Saint John's Eve, to ensure fertility during the coming year.
What item would you like to see your Fae Pae have?: A Tanzanite necklence with a pair of dangling earrings to match.

Name: Teigra Fae Pae's Name: Eudora Ability/Power: (None yet -- Will be filled in as she gets older) Based on (book/story/character/creature/myth/fable/etc.) : In Greek mythology, Pandora ("all gifted") was the first woman, fashioned by Zeus as part of the punishment of mankind for Prometheus' theft of the secret of fire. To punish mankind, Zeus demanded that the other gods make Pandora as a poisoned gift for man. Pandora was given several traits from the different gods: Hephaestus molded her out of clay and gave her form; Athena clothed her and the Charites adorned her with necklaces made by Hephaestus; Aphrodite gave her beauty; Apollo gave her musical talent and a gift for healing; Demeter taught her to tend a garden; Poseidon gave her a pearl necklace and the ability to never drown; Zeus made her idle, mischievous, and foolish; Hera gave her curiosity; Hermes gave her cunning, boldness, and charm. Thus the name Pandora—"all gifts"—in Hesiod's version derives from the fact that she received gifts from all deities. Eudora is going to be overly curious, lasting into adulthood, so no secret is going to be safe from her. In a way, she will represent the blessing and the curse of knowledge, both beneficial and detrimental. Luck of the Irish -
Criofan is eternally lucky, to put it in brief. To expand on it, he would probably be able to win things such as the lottery without much effort, and worm out of sticky situations that most others would never be able to.
This also factors in with the fact that he's a mischievous little bugger. Leprechauns are known for their ability to outsmart and trick humans continuously, and luck always seems to follow them, and them alone.
When he gets to be an adult, he would be able to spread some of this luck to others. He would be very picky about who he would spread it to. Until then, his luck would mostly be his own. As a teen, the adult ability might show in little amounts and be uncontrollable by Criofan himself, but we will see when we get there.

Or, in English, the leprechaun! They're an essential part of Irish myth, and a type of faerie themselves. They're best known for being mischievous and very rich, and are usually depicted as cobblers or shoemakers. Going along with mischievousness, they have a tendency to continuously outsmart humans. In Irish myth, they are often the ones who confuse the humans, or trick them into doing something the leprechaun wants them to with nothing in return.
Luck also follows them in all of their situations. The leprechaun never gets caught. They're tricksters in their best forms, the richest of rich, and they can worm out of any situation with wit and just the luck of the Irish.
Please Describe the association:
Criofan O'Kane is basically a leprechaun in Fae Pae'il form. Therefore, he will become a mischievous little trickster as he grows older, with endless luck. This could be a good or bad thing.
What item would you like to see your Fae Pae have? :
I'd really like him to have a pot of gold sometime in the future, going with the whole legend of, "At the end of the rainbow, you will find a leprechaun's pot of gold."
If not a pot of gold, then a golden girdle would work just as well.

Please Describe the association: Completely black, Niday is calm, collected and mysterious just as the night. She can be as comforting as a summer night, or as forboding as midnight where no noise penetrates.

Based on (book/story/character/creature/myth/fable/etc.) : Greek myth of Apollo and Hyacinthus. According to wikipedia and its lovely sources, Hyacinthus was a divine hero from Macedonia and one of Apollo's male lovers. The youth was so beautiful that Zephyrus grew jealous of the sun god. One day, Apollo and Hyacinthus were tossing discuses. In an attempt to impress his lover, Apollo threw the discus with all his might. Hyacinthus, likewise wanting to impress the god, ran to catch it. However, Zephyrus blew it off course and the discus struck the youth's head. He fell, dying in the sun god's arms. Refusing to let Hades take the boy, Apollo turned him into a flower and let his tears stain the petals. That flower, the Hyacinth, bears his name. I'm not entirely sure about the properties of this discus, except that it would never hit him in the head or hit the heads of those he loves. I hope that managment can incorporate that detail into whatever they come up with.

Please Describe the association: Not only is Seth's colors the same as this exotic flower, but he wears the flower in his hair, tucked behind his ear.
What item would you like to see your Fae Pae have? : I was hoping that I could get a vine of Bird of Paradise running around Seth's staff.... even though that flower actually doesn't grow on a vine ^^'

Fae Pae's Name: Lhiannan Sidhe
Ability/Power: She's had the ability to drain other creature's of their life force (soul basically) and use it to energize her own soul since birth. I was thinking perhaps as she ages and gets stronger, if she pulls life force from a pae she also draws in a bit of their power to use, though she wouldn't be able to control it at all. (kinda like rogue from xmen). She also has the gift of muse but she probably wouldn't share it with anyone unless she loved them.
Based on (book/story/character/creature/myth/fable/etc.) : The celtic myth of Lhiannan Sidhe (copied from her journal):
Lhiannan Sidhe is based upon a Celtic myth of two very similar, yet slightly different fey creatures: Lhiannan Shee, and Leanan Sidhe.
Lhiannan Shee is a corporeal vampiric creature of sorts. Her form is invisible to all, except for the one whom she attaches herself to, usually a man, to whom she appears irresistibly beautiful. Once she is attached to this person, she drains their body and soul of all life, and feeds upon this essence in order to survive. She usually dwells in abandoned wells or springs.
Leanan Sidhe is the kinder, more gentle version of this creature. Leanan means the love of my soul or spirit...my inspiration. She is regarded as a muse, lending inspiration to musicians, artists, poets to assist them in creating emotionally charged works of art. Yet this gift does not come free of charge. Frequently, these artisans are overcome with an obsession for their craft and soon burnout to heartbreak and grief.
Both Shee and Sidhe mean faery. Both names basically mean "The faery mistress, or faery sweetheart.
Lhiannan Sidhe is the embodiment of both of these creatures blended together.

Also known as the Greek god of wine and intoxication. He's also associated with leopards, dolphins, and agriculture. He represents not only the intoxicating power of wine, but also the social and (un)beneficial influences of such intoxication. Sometimes, he is also referred to as the "Liberator," specifically from oneself through madness, ecstasy, or wine. Worship of the charming Olympian god tended to be associated with drunken frenzy, or other such chaos.

Please Describe the association:
Magnus is going to be a party animal. A party won't really be a party until he enters the scene (and spikes the punch, naturally). Unfortunately, with him would usually come chaos. He seems to cause chaos whether directly or indirectly, even if he manages to get away from it himself.
He's a natural charmer, too. He'll have a natural gift to draw people in. ...If he doesn't get what he wants, though, Magnus will turn into quite the angry Pae'il, throwing temper tantrums at even the smallest of things. Grapes seem to placate him.
What item would you like to see your Fae Pae have?: A grape vine, of course. Wherever you put it is fine. ^^

Based on (book/story/character/creature/myth/fable/etc.) : Japanese Dragons
Please Describe the association: Since Japnese Dragons are associated with water, Sera herself is attuned to the water. While the dragon itself is a water diety, she is just an embodiment of water. Due to what she's based off of, she's able to communicate with the waters, but she needs to be water herself to do it. At least while she's young, perhaps as she grows older and more used to her ability she will be able to speak to them outside her watery form.
