American here, but my dad is Norwegian [he was born in America, his mom immigrated here] and my mom is black [descendant of slaves from both her parents]. I'd also say part Native American, but we only have photo proof and oral history, no tribal affiliation. Those documents were lost. emo

Just gonna say it. people need to learn the difference between "Nationality" and "lineage" rofl there is a difference. I put I'm from america, because that's my nation. My lineage, on the other hand is a mix of mostly Norwegian and German, but also a bit of creole and native american too XP that make sense? yes, I can be a bit of a nazi when it comes to proper language XP

Asian-American. I'm a second generation, seeing that my parents immigrated here some decades ago.
As for lineage, I'm Filipino (and probably partially Spanish due to the occupation) and Chinese. I tend to connect more to Filipino because I actually learned about the culture in more depth. Awesome having a language program in school. :3

My Dad's family immigrated here from Germany via Ellis Island in the 1880's, and my Mom's family immigrated here from England via South Carolina in the 1690's and somewhere down her line Cherokee ancestry was added; I'm quite proud of that! biggrin
