Kamin blinked. "So the rumors about him 'killing his wives because they displeased him' is nonsense, I assume. Why not?" he said with a shrug. His hand shifted, feeling a scratch just behind the rip in his vest.

"any deep wounds?" the older woman asked looking at him worried if he was harmed at all. Then agai. With Chione it was a slim chance that he was harmed at all. The girl could keep people safe and unharmed by just standing with them

Kamin chuckled. "Barely anything at all, barely even a grazing blow, though it seems my clothes took more of an impact than the skin did," he said with a shrug. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he spoke, a momentary frown flickering over his face. He pulled his hand away to find thin trails of red dripping down his fingers. Must have scraped my neck or the back of my head against that brick wall, he realized.

"if you want any thing to put on it go back there and look for Chione shell get you something if you want just have to find her" the younger of the two said pointing to the doorway Chione vanished into. "just be warned that you will be watched by her other mothers on there"

Kamin tilted his head to one side for a moment, blinking, then he nodded. He exhaled before walking towards that doorway, catching a momentary flicker of dark blond hair out of the corner of his eye; he knew it wasn't his own hair, nor was it Chione's. Odd... wonder what that was, he thought. He took a deep breath as he placed a hand on the wooden door, then pushed it open.

Chione was sitting next to three other woman and besides that there were two other woman cleaning clothes. Though all the woman but Chione looked up at him "hello, who are you?" one of the woman asked looking at him not sure why he was there

Kamin blinked, wary. I recognize the third wife of the Pharoah... rumor said she died in a bandit attack, but obviously she didn't. I know, since my father was the one that prepared the body; what poor soul was killed for such a rumor? he thought. "Kamin Suchiro," he said softly, pronouncing his last name as 'Sue-kiro'. He spotted a flicker of blue, dark blue, and the same dark blond hair again out of the corner of his eye but deliberately didn't look towards it. He heard a feminine giggle at the same moment, as if someone was amused at his expense.

"well we are sorry for Chione dragging you off of the streets and bringing you here. She has been careless since her mother passed" one of the woman said looking at him "is there something you need?" another next to Chione asked motioning him over towards them and shifted a bit do he could sit next to Chione

Kamin rolled his eyes. "It was either let her drag me along or end up with a few arrows in me, so I took the safer option. I do have to say, though... whoever it was apparently chose a bad location to fire from, since it seemed as if his view was impeded even though it was impossible to find from where he was firing those arrows from," he said with a sigh. "Any assassin with skill would have been able to hit and kill with a single arrow, yet this one seemed inept at best, either that or he didn't know how to handle a bow," he muttered to himself.

"even if he was the best he wouldn't have hit you id Chione was near, no one dies if she is close to them, perhaps she has some of Isis powers in her" one of the woman teased looking at Chione who looked up with a frown "that bit of the magic isnt true and you know that. Only the god's and goddesses have powers like that" Chione said and walked over to Kamin "here, i finished it, if yo want i can also fix your vest for you" she offered

Kamin inhaled, cocking his head as the women spoke. Why do I get the feeling there's something on the edge of my memories, yet... somehow... he thought. He shifted as his hands shifted to the vest, flicking the dark gray string and letting it fall from its clasp to reveal the tanned skin and reddened scratch beneath. He flicked the cloak over his shoulders, grunting slightly as he felt a burning heat pulse down from his left shoulder to the tips of his fingers. In the dim light, the flickers of violet black 'flame' faded away within a couple of seconds.

"would you like me to get something for your scratch?" chione asked looking at him a bit worried not to sure what her eyes did see for a moment though ignored it looking at him wanting to help him a bit since it was the best she could do for now. Though gently she picked up his jacket knowing she would have to clean the bit of blood off it first

Kamin shifted his weight slightly, his head nodding without thinking for a moment. He exhaled slowly, his gaze flicking around the dimly lit room. Three torches on each wall, plus two on either side of the door I came through and the one at the other end; I wonder what's further that way, he thought.

Walking over to a wall she knelt down by a woven basket and bulled out a small jar. Removing the top she walked over and scooped out a small bit of a sap like liquid and gently spread some on his scratch

Kamin cocked his head, shivering fractionally at the coolness of the ointment. It smelled oddly fresh, yet he couldn't place the scent; he knew it wasn't anything like incense, yet somehow, it reminded him of mint.
