I don't think so scince theres going to be one for the revolution. Plus there would be no use for the second screen.

Issue 194 of EGM on page 27, in the purple where it says Super Smash Bros. for revolution, later in that pragraph, it says, "Any chance for a handheld DS smash bros as well? "We're thinking about it," Mario creator Shigeru Miyamota told us."
So...theres a chance of it happening.

LightRam876 R.P.D It would be ace, Imagine showing your capabilites to people on the other side of the world. i agree well the ds screen is way too small so it would be better on the Nintendo revolition

quire a interesting perspecive idea...
remember that on the consoles, everyone is on the same screen...
but.. on the DS... everyone has their own screen sets...
thos would leave room for many differences... character stats... zooming in on your character... the bottom screen could keep teack of individual areas (eg, where you placed a mine, one of your enemy's, where is the trap you set...)
it also leaves room for larger stages...
the ability's such as Zelda's Faroes Wind(Otherwise known as teleportation to those who don't know Zelda) could be controled on the touch screen... instead of aiming in a direction...
weapons such as, arrows, bombs, fireballs, thrown items, ect...
could be aimed with the touch screen...
and the complete abolishing of the single screen, leave us with the ability to create larger arenas... dare I say... a 15 Player Dogfight... or Army Vs. Army...
Using the DS, could unlock a whole range of interesting additions...

That would be cool...but they are coming out with a smash bros. for the revelution so...yea, and besides the rev. will have online capabilities too...and ds graphics drag a bit

OMG!
ive been hoping for one gba but since now there is DS
im even now more hoping
the character looks will be awsome!
plus+ i hope ther is caracters from some other game boy advance games
and DS
especialy saumus and mr game and watch andkirby and a few others....

Taormina I would buy it. I have heard of the rumour too. it isn't a rumor, they just said they were thinking about it, and I believe it would be a great business decision, you would get tons of smashers to buy the DS just for it. I dont see why they dont really.
