"Nice." Chase said with a laugh. "So where are we going?" Chase asked, knowing that the islands around them were most likely left unexplorable in till they got a boat.

"Well then this could take awhile, seeing as how big the town is, and how big I'm guessing the open water is." Chase said with a sigh, and looked off into the distance. Just as he did, a man ran by screaming.
"Mermaids spotted on Whitecap! Sailors be warned!" The man yelled as he ran past the small group, and up into the rampart.

Eric grinned big
"it seems we need to head to Whitecap then...if there is that much commotion, then I think we need to search there first....." he said, some of his old self showing thru, he was decent at strategy but not great.
"i mean....if we can find anyone crazy enough to get us there....mermaids...." he sighed

"Am I wrong? Aren't mermaids the beautiful, majestic, seduce your sailor type? Since when are they dangerous?" Chase asked with a laugh. Chase had always grown up with the stories of those type of mermaids, having no clue that there was different types of the half aquatic creatures.

"yes....they are....but they lure sailors, anyone in the water, to their death."

"It really doesn't seem like a bad death when you think about it, at least you can say you saw a mermaid once in your life." Chase said with a laugh, and put his arms behind his head, leaning back to look up into the star filled sky.

Lami Hearing Her name turned around and looked at a familiar blonde boy "Chase?" she said as another boy ran into them "ah!" she said as merely took a step back, she realized it was another schoolmate and apparently chase's friend. she answered the boy's question "Yeah, there was this weird portal that suddenly opened and sucked me and diablo in." she kept quiet and listened to both of their conversations. minutes later chase went to change, and she waited for him with eric, chase came back a moment later with new clothes, she listened quietly to their conversation once more, she walked with them when a man suddenly came out of nowhere screaming about mermaids, she learned about the mythical creatures when she was young, so their next conversation about them luring sailors to their death was no big deal, as they continued walking into the town "so, what do we do now? Go to whitecap bay?" she asked the two.

"Yeah I guess thats where we are headed, Lami, how opposed are you to gran theft rowboat?" Chase asked with a laugh, seeing as that would be there probably only way to getting to Whitecap Bay.

"Well, the villagers that gave me these clothes said that the harbor was not far off, and we can probably rent a boat with our munny." she suggested, handing out a few munny to them "This can probably get us a rowboat." then she smirked "or do you two really want to hijack a person's boat? innocent person no, but maybe a pirate is okay..." she said in a tone like she really wanted to hijack a boat, she was still sleepy so she wasnt very much herself, she realized that right away and slapped her cheeks and laughed "sorry sorry i just didnt have much sleep." she said moving her hand up and down.

"Then I guess we are renting one." Chase said, and took the munny from Lami. Chase looked up into the sky, and could see that the sun rays began to pierce the sky. "Morning is about to come." Chase said, having grown up in farm land, there was hardly ever clocks around, so Chase and his village mates knew the time from the sky.

"Well then lets go to the harbor" she said smiling at them, she passed them and ran back into the town, calling them over "let's go!" she looked at diablo "okay i'm going to let you out of the cage this time because i trust you now..." she used a powerful spell and let diablo out, the bird cawed and tried to escape, leaving the girl in the middle of the street, but as he reached the sky he looked like he was struck by thunder and he can back down alive "dont underestimate me bird." she smirked at diablo, as she continued walking, diablo obediently perched on her shoulder scared of being shocked again.
