т ѕ υ в α к ιThe ɔ ʋ ʀ ʂ ɘ ɗ Cat « / ɝ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ╔══════════════╗ Can you love me?╚══════════════╝ « / ɝ Tsubaki knew deep in her mind she was the guilty, loud one now. But when she reminded herself that he had been as loud as possible sense they got there, it pushed her buttons all over again. Her fingers slowly came to the palms of her hands, forming a fist as rage boiled up inside of her. She waited, just for a moment to make him think he won so soon. That words had gotten to her, when in truth they had barely even affected her. She was used to it, used to being hated and blamed for everything. Especially by the rat. Every time something bad happened, he blamed her. He got her in trouble and hit by the god... Her nostrils flared when she thought about the god hitting and how many times it had been Asami's fault. A growl came from the depths of her throat. It may or may not of been loud enough for Asami to hear but she was sure he did hear it... Either way she was determined to take him down...
Just thinking about all the horrible things the filthy rat in front of her had done to her... Tsubaki bit her lip then and charge out him. She didn't go for his pretty little face like she usually would. She would for his stomach. To punch him so hard there he inhale his words out of the air when he would try to breathe again. The thought of seeing him struggle on the floor flued her want to hurt Asami or at least knock him out. Either one would satisfy her right about now. She wanted to make him be quiet for days. To hit him so hard he didn't wake up for another week... She hated this whole thing. The god either really did want the two to get along, or started hating the both of them so much he wanted them to finally kill each other where he wouldn't have to watch he. She didn't bet on latter very much. He even showed some love for the cat but show a lot to the rat... Showed so much it probably pained him to let him go up here with someone they both hated so dearly...
Tsubaki's face was glowing red from anger. Tsubaki didn't just do the simple thing and punch him... Tsubaki grabbed his hair and brought her leg up to his stomach. She hopped to the Lord up high that he didn't escape her grasp with no damage. The rat always... always beat her. And just once, she wanted to out smart him and win. For once she wanted to watch him struggling to move after a fight. For once she wanted to be able to walk away with a grin on her face because she hurt him physical... Just as he had done to her so many times before and would probably continue to do the rest of their pathetic lives...Which was the fate she was determined to change... She would not be defeated by him the rest of her life. No matter how hard it would be and how much wit it would take, she would catch him off guard one day... Potentially ring his neck like it was a towel full of water. Or just beat the crap out of his face till it was no longer pretty and he died from swallowing his own blood...▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: What's a good one x one like this without starting it off with a bit of a bang? ;3

Asami X ● What's the point in trying to be someone you're not? You're only lying to yourself. ● X *♥*~ Asami knew that he was right at this moment, she was the only one being loud, he couldn't help that the stupid cat has sensitive hearing. To be honest, the tv wasn't loud at all. He didn't know why the God hated him so much, perhaps it was because he didn't love the God as much as the old folk tale says he should. Being the one closest to God, the rat was naturally the God's favorite amongst all the other Zodiac. If that were true, why in the hell did the God send him up here with this miserable excuse for a person? He wasn't even if sure if he'd classify the cat as a girl, honestly, she wasn't beautiful or graceful at all. She was utterly annoying, loud, vicious, ugly to him, and such a b*tch! She had some major anger problems and he wished he could shove her long pink hair down her throat and make her choke on it, just so he could get the satisfaction of it being very quiet and he wouldn't have to look at her face again.
His dark purple eyes looked at her boredly when she stood there with rage coursing through her eyes, he looked into her eyes, daring and challenging her to just try and come at him. So he can once again show her that not only was he stronger than her, but he was better at her at everything she ever set her mind to. He enjoyed showing her up, because no matter how hard she tried, she could never surpass him. She could train for years and he would still be better than her ten fold, it was just the way it was. The rat was intelligent, good with people, talented, and special. Growing up Asami was always compared with the other Zodiac members, but it was always the same conclusion, he was better than all the rest, enough said. It wasn't how he wanted it, wasn't that he asked for it, it was just how it was. He didn't bother questioning the God, it would only get him beat down more. Since his childhood, he's been beat the God, so many times. He couldn't hate God, he just couldn't, it wasn't in his nature. He just didn't love the God as much as he should, and that ticked the God off so badly. He wondered if this was punishment.. Being here with the most dreadful person in the world.
Asami just watched her face and almost yawned, her expressions were very colorful, and he found her face more hideous when it twisted into a sick formation like it was now. Rage, anger, and he knew why. It was because, compared to him, she was yet again.. Nothing. She ran at him, she didn't go for his face because it was futile, she wouldn't do any damage yet again, but she did go for his hair. He moved his head to the side and she grabbed onto the hem of his shirt and pulled up, her knee went into his stomach and he smacked it away with his hands and grabbed both her hands with ease, bent over a little, then threw her over his back and she landed in front of him. He stepped away from her, being as though she seemed to be more than a few feet away from her.."Maybe if you kept your mouth shut, people would actually look at you as a person, instead of a freak of nature.." He mumbled, is voice irritated, but sounding calm.. Even though he was angry on the inside, he never showed very much emotion (OOC: I agree)

т ѕ υ в α к ιThe ɔ ʋ ʀ ʂ ɘ ɗ Cat « / ɝ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ╔══════════════╗ Can you love me?╚══════════════╝ « / ɝ Even though she had a feeling she would get beaten, once again, by the rat... Tsubaki couldn't help but get even more frustrated. But she knew when to accept defeat for a little bit. When the words came out of his mouth her face went dark. She yank her hands from his grasp and sat up, rubbing her wrists. She was looking for the humor in his words. Because if she could spat something at him and it shocked him, she saw that as some form of victory. To shock the 'dear' rat would also put a smile on her face. It was something she rarely ever did. She had only done it maybe once or twice before. Or maybe she dreamed that all but she was sure that she hadn't one bit... She started chuckling a bit when something came in her mind.
Tsubaki just sat there, tears threatening to come when she thought about 'Freak of nature'. She had been called that since she was too young to understand what it meant... "Even if I did... That wouldn't help. I wouldn't get called that still maybe... But in my eyes it's worse... And don't say things you wouldn't want... If I kept quiet, you and the rest of the world would come at me like I'm spare meat and your rapid, hungry dogs." She then stood up, looking at him in the eyes with a grin. "And you know it you little filthy rat..." She then frowned a bit. "And don't talk till you walk in my shoes. You are too freaking spoiled and loved to understand." She said, her voice barely cracking once or twice. Her eyes were glossy. She quickly found her chance and patted the tall boy in the cheek. "Go crawl in a freaking sewer." She said with a straighter face before walking away into the kitchen.
Why the kitchen? Tsubaki grabbed a towel from the drawer after much quick searching. She dampened it a little bit and walked back into the area she was just in where she got beat by the rat. She wasn't picking up the rice to be nice to him... But because her nerves were pricking. Why? She was so used to the god forcing her to clean up her messes and beating her to almost death if she didn't that it was habit. She still felt like he was there, watching her every move and step. So she got to work on picking up the rice that she had thrown.
Tsubaki first started by sitting the plastic contained up right and picking as much lose rice as possible into it and pulling her hair behind her back. Then, from the stickiness, she wiped up the floor to get rid of it. She cleaned it up as best as she could, completely ignoring the fact that the rat was there. Whether he was watching her or ignoring her. She stood back up by pushing on the floor and standing up. Her hair fell in front of her again. After walking back into the kitchen, she put the towel in the sink and leaned back on the counter. She couldn't help it... For a minute she just stood there and let big tears fall from her eyes. Her shoulders were slumped forward and her arms crossed over her chest. So when they fell, the tears landed on her arms and then went to her clothes.
After a minute of her little moment, Tsubaki pushed up off the counter and wiper her eyes. She didn't want to show that rat any form of her weakness. She was ready to be a bit civil now that she was calmed down. So she walked back to where the rat was and stood in the door way of the living room. For some reason though she couldn't find any words to tell him... She didn't want to say sorry and after thinking about it, she didn't want to be civil with him. "And I'm not the only trash here..." She said, barely loud enough for him to barely hear it before walking out of the door. Yeah, she was bare foot but she liked that better than having shoes on.
Tsubaki soon found herself sprinting till she found a little pond somewhere behind the house. The house was still in view, but it wasn't extremely close either. She climbed up on a huge rock that was on the side of it. She got to the top and sat down, hugging her knees close to her chest. This time, she didn't care. She let the tears fall. She let herself cry and hurt and be sad. Just like always. She kind of wished a bear would come out and eat her alive. "Bet Asami, that filthy rat, would just love to see that." She said, completely serious and putting emphasis on 'love'. One thing she had never known that she wished, even just for a moment, could experience. Maybe that would help her be a much better person. She scoffed at the thought, opening her mouth a few salty tears fell into it. She sighed, laying her head on her knees and kept crying silently, just relaxing and thinking. Stupid Rat... He should go die...▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: x3

Asami X ● What's the point in trying to be someone you're not? You're only lying to yourself. ● X *♥*~ Asami shrugged of her ranting at him and looked away, he saw the sadness in her eyes, no matter how hard she tried to hide it. He was good at reading people, just because he was observant. He sometimes hated that about him, he hated being able to read her emotion even though she didn't show it. Did he feel bad about making her tear up? Perhaps, but would he ever admit that? No. It wasn't his fault that she was overly sensitive about things, she just got worked up over nothing. It pissed him off about her, she just had a temper. She handled the loss pretty well, but that was normal. She wouldn't give up, he wouldn't back down from a challenge. He liked to look up and see her defeated, it gave him satisfaction.
Walk in her shoes did she say? Little did she know that he was closer to her shoes than she thought, the cat only saw what was on the outside. Inside, he got treated just the same as her, but by one person, God. She obviously didn't know what the hell she was talking about, she was just trying to say stupid things to make him feel bad for her, but he wasn't going to budge at all. He didn't feel bad for her, she didn't feel bad for him, so they were even. No one chose to live the life they do, it's just not a choice that was theirs. When she touched his face, his skin crawled. His perfect face looked sick at the touch of her hand, he brought his hand up and tried to wipe away the feeling. That was disgusting.. He thought to himself, holding his stomach lightly with one hand and trying to compose himself. He didn't like her touching him, it made him feel gross.
She wandered into the kitchen? Well that's a first, she usually tried to get away to the furthest place away from him as possible. When she appeared from the kitchen, he noticed a towel in her hands. What was she planning? He wondered. She got down and started to clean up the mess she had made earlier, he looked at her, almost bewildered. She was being almost obedient, but what would.... Only one conclusion came to his mind at that moment, and he wasn't shocked in the least. Kami..He thought, the Kami made her clean it. He remembered times when Tsubaki would throw a fit and the God would get angry at her, making her clean it up. She refused some times in the earlier times, after everyone left, she never came back out for a few hours. He usually pushed it to the side, but, he knew what was happening. What usually happened to him, was happening to her. So she was taking the beating that was usually meant for him? Could it be true? He dismissed the thought immediatly.
She left back to the kitchen and was silent for a while, he knew what was happening. He just wanded back to the tv and turned it off, he wasn't in the mood for relaxing anymore. She'd woken him up from his half sleep and now he wasn't tired in the least bit, not anymore. He turned around and she was leaving the house, but before she did, she mumbled something about trash. He shrugged to himself again and watched her leave. Sprinting, she did have long legs for such a small person. He didn't notice that before, but he ignored the thought, as he did always. Better not to ponder on something stupid like that, it would only make him think more and he hated to think, it always got him in trouble. He looked up at the ceiling, almost feeling like he was being watched.
When Asami was satisfied that no one was around, he wandered over to his things that were by the door and picked them up, walking up stairs for the first time since he'd gotten there a few hours before. She was wandering upstairs earlier, so he didn't want to be up there. He passed the room she'd claimed for himself and chose the one that was a little further down, he opened the door and revealed a comfortable room that had a bed, dresser, tv, and a desk. A few other things, but he didn't really care to look around. He left the door open and walked over to the bed, setting his things down on it. Asami opened his backpack and removed many things from it, setting them on the bed as well. Clothes, books, a camera, bathing stuff, some homework that he decided to ask for months in advance so he'd have something to do as well as get ahead of the whole class. He was an overacheiver sometimes.
He put everything away in their appropriate places and sighed softly, looking over his shoulder into the hallway. He walked to the doorway and looked up and down the hall, making sure no one was there. He wasn't paranoid, but.. He liked his privacy sometimes. He was satisfied, then unbuttoned the front of his Princey shirt and took it off slowly. He groaned, the pain of the beating he'd received from the God earlier that day was finally starting to creep up on him. As he removed the shirt and allowed the breeze to crawl along his pale skin, he looked through his bag for some cream. What was seen on his back was almost hainous. Lashes that looked like from a whip were shown, millions of small and large scars were seen. But was stood out was the new cuts, deep one's that looked very painful. They were bleeding and looked very fresh, it was in pain, but didn't show it very much. Was he so loved now? (OOC: Poor Tsubaki T-T)

It was when she was younger, about 4 years old. She had fallen and severely scraped her knee to the point where you could see bone. She had been running away from the boar and fallen off one of the tall porches of the Main Estate. The boar had, who had been 5 or 6 at the time, instantly back off and ran to get someone... Gosh, she remembered the days when that over obsessive pig had brains... By the time he got back, she was already crying loudly. She was hysterical crying with snot running out of her nose and tears flowing out of her eyes quicker than she could figure out.
The boar had brought the dragon and the horse behind them. They are the oldest zodiac, so there were somewhere in their teens about then, maybe a little bit younger than that. The horse had picked her up and carried her into the house, saying soothing words like a mother would. The dragon went and got bandages to wrap her knee and peroxide to clean it out. The words that had really struck her heart that day, that her tiny mind would never let her be able to forget. "Your mother would hate to see you cry..." And that instantly made the little, 4 year old cat stop crying and think... As she grew older she went after pain. Why? Well, most of it came from the rat... The pain from the god she tried to run away from at all cost... And she put more cages than you can count around her heart. She awhile she swore she was going to go mute from lack of speaking so much... But that gave the rat all the time in the room to pick on her and she wouldn't stand for that. Not even for the slightest moment!
Tsubaki looked up at the sky. She wondered what her mom and dad were like...She wondered if they were dead or still alive. It almost made her heart squeeze at the thought of it all, it made her hurt worse that some out there but love her but weren't around. She would just have to live with it she guess because there was nothing she could do about it. Not ever for the slightest millisecond.
"There is a few things me and him have in common..." They both were cursed... She was to a higher extent though. They both didn't have a mom or dad... And they were both stuck here when a person they truly just hate... Tsubaki wiped away the tears and stood up, almost slipping and falling into the pond. She steadied herself and jumped onto the land and sighed, walking slowly back to the house. When she got there, she stood outside the door for a minute. Then she walked into the house without making a bit of noise. She was tired from crying but she wasn't done, she had a feeling. Slowly and silently, Tsubaki walked up the stairs and went straight into her room.
Tsubaki closed the door behind her, making the least bit of noise at possible. But wooden doors against other wooden things tended to make noise than ever wanted. Well sometimes that was. She had left the lights on earlier by accident. Her anger never let her think things through. So she turned them out and turn on the small lamp that was next to the bed on a small bedside table. She sighed once again. She was doing that a lot today that was for sure. She got under her blankets she had brought and snuggled up in them. She started crying again. Every time she was about to sleep it seemed to happen. Like her body was so tired it no longer wanted to fight against the dam inside her and keep it from breaking. Almost as if the dam needed to drain every night and refill itself and repeat process for the rest of her life... That sure would suck, a 70 year old woman crying herself to sleep every night. She almost laughed at the very thought. Well, that would be her if she even lived that long. Hard telling what could happen in the future.
Tsubaki wonder for a split second what the rat was up to... What was he doing and why? She suddenly felt the ache of her body and it pushed those thoughts away. And she was glad they freaked her out. She had never had them before... She sighed, which hurt her more, because of the beating from the god she had gotten after the fight... That was a bad one, she thought she really was going to die. And crawling back to her room made her really want to. Sometimes she wonder what the god did with Asami behind those doors. She had watched him walk in there numerous times and walk out looking mad... Or something along those lines. But she didn't understand why, the god loved the rat too much to hurt him too much. Maybe the little prince really couldn't even take the little amount of pain. She grinned at that thought. She really want to push his buttons.
Tsubaki laughed at how mad he would get if she did that... All the more reason to push his big, red, 'Do Not Touch' button... If only she could get that close. She was able to earlier to pat his cheek... She hoped it freak him out. At the time she was so numb feeling she didn't realize how disgusting it was... Now she figured the rock and water from the towel had taken the germs away. She sure hoped so at the very least. Tsubaki was so closing her eyes and soon the darkness consumed her just as she changed into a little, white cat with a single black paw where her bracelet was located when she was human...▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: I know right! Asami X ● What's the point in trying to be someone you're not? You're only lying to yourself. ● X *♥*~ Asami winced slightly, putting on a pair of night pants. Black and silk, something he had to wear since his legs were covered in cuts and such. Silk felt amazing against his wounded skin, felt even better when he slipped them on after putting the cream on them. He sighed softly in bliss, then slipped into the covers, he didn't want to wear a shirt to bed tonight. He was already in enough pain, he didn't want to make it worse. Just the thought of cloth sticking to his back almost made him heave, he hated when cloth stuck to his wounds, he glanced at the blood-stained shirt on the floor beside his bed, he grimaced, he'd have to wash the shirt before Tsubaki decided to wake up. She'd have a field day if she saw it, thinking she made him bleed, which she didn't. His eyes looked a bit drained, his hair didn't look as pretty, his skin even looked kind of clammy. He just wasn't himself. But for some damn reason, he couldn't fall asleep. He just kept wondering if Tsubaki was going to stay outside all night, he jolted out of bed and growled lightly under his breath, not cool.. He didn't want to think about her, not her of all people.
He heard a door shut next to his room and he looked toward the wall, where there was some noise heard. He blinked, so she did decide to come back, interesting. He walked to the dresser and pulled out a white shirt and pulled it over his head, is he was going to walk out, he had to wear a shirt. He was ashamed of his body, that was why he always wore shirts that covered high up his neck. But tonight, his shirt was a normal t-shirt and covered his back. His wounds were bandaged up so they wouldn't bleed through his shirt, that would be a bad thing if they did. He opened his own door and wandered down the hallways, stopping a little to look at her bedroom door, then he looked forward and walked by at his usual pace. Long strides down the hall, then the stairs.
He got to the main room and walked to the front door, locking it, then walked into the kitchen. He took out a few things he'd make for breakfast the next day, he decided that he would try and be half nice to her tomorrow. He made her cry and even though he hated her, he hated to see any girl cry.. If she really is a girl.. He thought to himself, then sighed softly. He almost felt bad for making her cry, but he couldn't bring himself to feel any kind of remorse. He wandered back up the stairs and into his room, slowly shutting his door. He climbed into the covers once again and took his shirt off, bringing the covers high up to his neck and getting comfortable, he closed his eyes.. Slowly allowing the growing darkness behind his closed eyes to take over his mind and render it blank. Eventually he fell asleep.
Downstairs, where he was only moments before. There was a note for Tsubaki, he decided to leave it for her since she always woke up before him. He didn't know why he left it for her, but it seemed like the only thing he could do to keep her from trying to cook for herself and ruin his plans for a good breakfast.: Cat, Don't touch the food I left out, I'm making breakfast and I don't want you ruining it by blowing up the house. So leave everything alone until I wake up. - Asami. Asami was a little white mouse, laying on the pillow, looking cute and adorable. No scars or cuts to be seen. (OOC: Perhaps a little bonding moment to get the fire started, then splash a huge bucket of water on that fire? XD They get along for a little while, then something ticks them off)

By the time he had started doing all that she was already sound asleep in her room, resting up. Hours had past since when she finally woke back up. She was on her stomach, so when she opened her eyes she was looking at the wall. Her arms and hands were tucked up under chest and torso. She felt so warm that she never wanted to move again. She knew she would have to though. She yawned and sat up, stretching. Her bracelet was still on, but it seemed only her shirt was still on from when she transformed back into a human. So when she stood up the cold air of her room made goosebumps rise on her legs. She reached under the covers and pulled out her shorts and put them on, hugging herself. She was so close! Before she left her room, she went to get closet and pulled out a blue hoodie that fit skin tight. She slipped it over her head and combed out her hair before she put it up in a high ponytail.
Tsubaki walked out her dark room, still feeling the side affects of still just waking up. Usually it didn't take long for the cat to fully wake up. It didn't surprise her to hear the house completely silent except for the morning noises that come from outside. Walking down the stairs she tried to be as quiet as possible. She decided to try to be nice to the rat today. She had come to the conclusion that that was going to be the only way they would both survive. She hoped the rat felt the same way. That would make their lives much easier. They could be nice here, be able to go home, and maybe just start ignoring each other from now on when they went home or something. Just so they wouldn't fight and get in this mess all over again.
Tsubaki's thoughts were interrupted by her stomach growling at her in complaint. She stretched again and walked into the kitchen to get something to eat. The minute she entered the kitchen she noticed all the breakfast materials on the counter. Among that there was a note. She picked it up and read it. She was happy he was going to make breakfast. She hoped he meant he was making it for both of them. That would just suck if he decided to make food again and rub it in her face by eating it in front of her. She had never really had the rat's food but it sure did smell amazing. Though she would never tell him that, it was against her pride at the moment. She also noticed how good and neat his hand writing was. She had never noticed it before. Probably because she had never read anything he wrote.
Tsubaki sat the note down. She walked back into the living room. Right after she turned the T.V on she quickly turned it almost all the way down. She only had it up enough for her to barely be able to hear mumbles when she laid down on the couch. She saw the heated table but decided just to leave that alone... She didn't want to break it or something. With her destructive luck, that is exactly what would happen. So she walked directly to the couch after she turned the T.V on to an anime channel. It was currently showing Soul Eater. It was an anime she particularly enjoyed. It didn't have too much romance in it, well really none at all except for the few, or many, perverted moments in it. Right now it was showing the basketball episode. They had all gotten beaten up pretty badly by a Kishin so they decided to take a break and play basketball.
Tsubaki sat down on the couch and hugged her legs to her chest to try and keep as warm as possible. It wasn't too cold in the living room but it was still a bit chilly. Something surprised her... When a funny part came up, Tsubaki giggled just like a girl would when funny things happened in their favorite shows. Just like Soul Eater. That was her favorite show. She didn't let the shock and surprise show, she just kept giggling at the funny part. It was one of the funniest episodes in Soul Eater... So she couldn't help but giggle and feel a tad bit of a little piece of happiness because it... ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: That will work biggrin !!!

Asami X ● What's the point in trying to be someone you're not? You're only lying to yourself. ● X *♥*~ Asami didn't wake until perhaps a half hour later than she did, he yawned and stretched out wide, his arms spand reaching its compacity and it was quite wide. He brought his hands back down and rubbed his sleep eyes, his purple eyes hazed over with morning grogginess. He yawned and pulled the covers off of him, sliding his legs off the bed and his feet touching the cold floor, out of mere reaction, he retracted his feet and grimaced. He didn't like cold, it wasn't his element. He reached over with his feet to the end of the bed and pulled on the house shoes, his feet instantly feeling warm. He stood up from his bed slowly and wobbled to his dresser and pulled out a pair of silk black pants and a white tank top and a black over button-up shirt. He would lay off of the princey clothing for a day, he didn't feel like dressing up much. But he had to cover his body, the body he was ashamed of showing.
He wobbled off to his door and opened it slowly, it not making a sound. He padded over to the bathroom that was the door across from his room and a little further away, he opened the door and shut it silently, he never made a sound. He was a silent person in the morning, until he got his coffee of course. He took a quick shower, brushed his teeth and hair, then got dressed. He always took morning showers, but he never seemed to wake up just from that alone, he needed his morning dose of caffeine. Silently, he walked out of the bathroom, smelling fresh and godly. He padded silently down the stairs and stopped at the end, looking silently in the direction of Tsubaki. She was giggling and enjoying her show she watched, he was almost shocked to see her watching the show with volume down. He never would've noticed her there if she wasn't right in front of him, he blinked tiredly.
He decided to be quiet, he didn't want to disturb her and yet, he wasn't fully awake to have any kind of human contact. He just walked silently once again, to the kitchen to start on breakfast and to make coffee. He threw the note in the garbage once he approached, feeling somewhat accomplished at knowing that Tsubaki hadn't touched anything, he liked having a clean kitchen when he woke up in the morning. He was a good cook, but he wasn't sure if that was a good attribute for a man to have, but he didn't really care, he enjoyed having food around him that were delicious.. Probably he always cooked his own food instead of having other's cook it for him, he liked having things made his way. It was either his way, or no way.
He started brewing the coffee and making breakfast, filling the whole house with many delicious smells. He made eggs, bacon, sausage, rice, cod fish, and even put sugar dumplings in for a side snack. It was not a traditional Japanese breakfast, but he was skilled with many arts of cooking from different cultures he'd studied up on. He set out two plates, one for him and one for her. He decided to give arguing a break for today, he was still wore out. He set out two coffee mugs as well and poured two cups of coffee, made two plates of food; a good serving of everything on each plate. He put everything on a serving tray he'd found in the kitchen cabinet, then walked to the living room and set the tray on the table that was heated underneath. He put her food on the table to where she could reach it, then he sat down and served himself his food, remaining silent the whole time. He pulled the heated blanket over himself, got warm, and took his first sip of coffee of the day. He was even nice enough to have sugar and creamer on the tray, just in case she didn't like her coffee black. He added some caramel in their coffee, but he just kept his black. (OOC: I can just see it happening haha♥)

She Maka's dad exploded happy confetti. She wasn't interrupted once as the noises of the shower. She just looked at it as a sign of Asami coming down stairs soon. She really hoped that he would make breakfast once he got down there. Her stomach was starting to hurt a bit for being hungry. The only thing she had eaten yesterday was that rice. And half of it she had thrown at Asami the day before...That was behind her now, so she really wasn't going to dwell on thinking too much about. Maybe she would swallow her pride enough to say sorry to him about it today.
Tsubaki left Asami alone as he woke up. She had barely glanced at him and wasn't quiet ready to talk to him yet. He seemed like he needed to wake up anyway, so she would start being nice by letting him do that. She listened to the sound of the coffee pot as he made coffee. When he started making food the glorious smell entered her nostrils and overfilled her with joy. It smelled as wonderful as it always had and she was excited to finally be able to try it for once! Or at least she hoped he would let her.
When Asami brought in the food and set some down in her reach her mouth almost started watering. It looked absolutely amazing! She composed herself because he even had the chance to notice her. She noticed the coffee and couldn't help but smile. "Thank you very much, Asami." Tsubaki said with a smile and a genuine tone of voice. She was truly thankful he had made a breakfast that smelled, and probably tasted very good. She made her coffee first and took a quiet, small sip from it, smiling from the good, sugary, caramel taste. She had always been a huge fan of caramel things. They were always so good, sweet, and caramel went with everything it seemed! Food that was, no clothes!
Tsubaki then sat on the floor too, on the side of the heated table. She sat criss-cross applesauce and quietly moved her plate in front of her. She did it slowly too, trying not to disturb him too much. Slowly, she took a small bite of the food. It was amazing! It was so good, she did want to let her mouth water. But she didn't, of course. That was not kind of gross to be honest. After she chewed and swallowed her food, she did smile at Asami. "Thank you for sharing this with me... It is truly amazing." She said in a soft voice that was loud enough for you to hear her but not too loud as well. She kept smiling at him for a minute before taking another bite of the delicious food. She ate slowly to savor the flavor the food. She ate slowly, but with bigger bites, as she waited for his reply. If he had one that was.▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: Haha I know<3

Asami X ● What's the point in trying to be someone you're not? You're only lying to yourself. ● X *♥*~ Asami remained quiet, he wasn't even awake yet. He downed his coffee and just stared into mid air for a while, letting the coffee wake him up. He picked up his chop sticks and parted them, bowing his head and closing his eyes.."Itadakimasu" He mumbled softly, his purple eyes slowly losing the haze. He looked at his food and started to slowly eat, not able to comprehend the smell yet. He was like this every morning, but Tsubaki had the priviledge to be the first and only to see him like this. He reached over and pulled the hot coffee pot over to him after setting his chop sticks down, poured himself another cup, set it down, poured the little cup that had caramel in it into his cup, then set it down and drank from the cup again. It was like this for a while.
Once he'd waken up a little, enough to function, he looked at Tsubaki a little when she thanked him. He blinked in a half daze, then looked back down at his food, picking up his chop sticks and wolfing down his food like it was the last thing on Earth to eat. He was always hungry in the morning, and always quiet. His damp silvery hair hung over his purple eyes, making him look a little different than he usually did, even his clothes weren't like usual. He'd actually bought himself these clothes, to make him look at least halfway normal. When she thanked him again and commented on his food, he looked up at her again and noticed her smiling. He just blinked his eyes and stared into her own eyes for a while, just looking into her eyes and trying to read them to see if there was hidden sarcasm. He couldn't see anything, she went back to eating and she took big bites, he just watched. He should say something, but he wasn't sure what to say. He wasn't good at talking to her normally, actually, if he thought about it, this was the first time in forever since they talked to each other civilized.."Sure" His voice didn't hold sarcasm or irritation, but it did show that he was unsure what to say to her compliment. (OOC: I thought his hesitation was funny)

She savored every bite and wondered when the last time she had eaten a meal that was that good... Probably never to be honest. She tended not to eat much, or at all, at the estate. Sometimes it was because she wasn't hungry. Sometimes it was because she had ran away or been beaten so severely by the god she could hardly move. But she tried to at least eat a bowl or two of rice a day and drink a lot of water and tea. She found those made up for the lost food nutrition. They may have not but she felt like they did so she didn't both to put too much thought into it. The dragon complained at her for it and tried to force food down her throat but she tended to ignore him most of the time and just continue on with her life how she wanted to live it. Actually, now that she thought about it the Dragon was the only one who seemed to notice and care about her eating habits. Or at least that she had noticed.
"Silly Tsubaki!" She thought, pushing all those negative thoughts back. When she was done, she stood up on her slender, long, pale legs and bowed to Asami with the plate in her hand. "Arigato." She said in a musical type voice. She didn't even ask herself what had gotten into her. She liked being this happy! It was the happy part of herself she had been searching for for a very long time! So she welcomed it with open arms. She stood up straight and took Asami's plate. There was no other food and he had devored his so she figured he was done eating for now. "I'll wash this for you, Asami." She said, heading off towards the kitchen with the joy level in her blood system rising. She really didn't understand what had gotten into her. She should be a completely opposite person right now. "But I love this~" She cooed, finishing her thoughts out loud.
Tsubaki walked over to the sink and cleaned off the plates and put them in the dishwasher. After that she threw the chopsticks away in the trash can. With all that done in a few minutes, the oddly happy cat skipped back into the living room and sat back down, looking at the T.V. When she turned back to Asami and asked the simple question, "Would you like to do something today, Rat-kun?" She asked with sparkling eyes and a wide grin of a smile. Sher felt like her heart was beating a million miles an hour and pumping happy fluids into her blood. Letting them flow into her veins and fuel her for the day. It was almost as if all the happiness that had been hidden for the past 18 years of her life were finally showing themselves for awhile. As if to prove to the cat she was a person. A girl. With emotions and feelings. And could be happy when there really was nothing for her to be happy about but she was anyway. And almost like nothing at all could ever break that. No matter how hard the person tried. She felt unbreakable, even if she knew she was so super fragile. Emotionally and some what physically. She still felt like nothing could and would never break her at that very moment though.
Tsubaki titled her head to the side like a curious cat as she awaited at answer. Her long, silky, pink ponytail followed. She brought her head back straight and it fell over her shoulder a bit. Her legs were crossed with her hands in the open space between her legs, half touching the floor and half of her hand, which was mostly her thing, pale fingers, were touching her legs. ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: It is :3 He seems so shocked. Asami X ● What's the point in trying to be someone you're not? You're only lying to yourself. ● X *♥*~ Asami finished his food before Tsubaki and he downed his coffee, then poured himself another cup. He woke up completely and just sat there for a while, staring into space as he slowly woke up from his daze. She stood up and collected his things and he just stared after her, watching her happily walk to the kitchen. He blinked, then stood up as well, gathering the extra things and setting them on the table in the kitchen. He wandered back to the livingroom and sat down by the table, pulling the blanket over his legs, staring at the TV. He didn't know why she was so happy, there wasn't anything to be happy about. They were stuck in a cabin, together, in the middle of freaking no where. He didn't know what was up with her.
He slowly sipped on his new cup of coffee, his sensitive ears picking up on her speaking. What did he want to do today? And she didn't call him a name. Was she high? Did she have hidden drugs in her room that she had done before he woke up? If so, he wished that she would share. He didn't feel well today, it was just one of those days. As soon as he finished his third cup of coffee, he'd probably be fine. He was a normal 16 year old boy, okay no, not normal. He was as normal as a Sohma male could be, he wondered why the morning seemed to drag, probably his hormones or something. He brought his hand up that help his cup and sipped on the coffee, then set it back down, running his warm hand through his hair, but it fell back into his face. He flipped his head to the side, moving his bangs from his eyes successfully.
He rethought Tsubaki's question and blinked, he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. They were abandoned in the cabin, alone.. Together. He chewed on his bottom lip, still not sure what to think of her personality, it flabbergasted him. Ya, he was in shock, but he didn't show it. He wasn't used to seeing her like this, she usually had an ugly frown on her face that made her get wrinkled all over her face, making her look highly unattractive. He looked at her and didn't see a frown or wrinkles, but he did see a curious look. He just stared at her blankly, trying to figure her out. Did she have split personalities? Some kind of mental disorder that made her go from one personality one day and a different one the next? He didn't know, but honestly, it freaked him the f*ck out.
Asami looked at her with fully awake purple eyes, his smooth perfect face was pale and clashed with his silver hair. He just stared at her, something he never usually did. He got a good look at her and noticed, perhaps for the first time, that she actually was a girl. She was kind of cute, giving him that look..What the hell? He thought to himself, quickly dismissing the thought. For some reason, he couldn't put the ugly face on her right now. All her saw was a cute little cat right before him.."I wanted to plant a strawberry farm.." He said, his eyes still staring into her's, still in a shocked state. (OOC: That's cute ^-^)

For a moment, she thought about about cute the Princely face was when he was shocked and a bit confused. It warmed her heart the slightest bit that she was the one who had caused it in the cold Rat. Her eyes showed patience as well as her intense curiousity had what the Rat's answer would be to her question. She would be up to anything he was up for. She would love to do something outside today, it seemed like it was going to be a nice day in the mountains. She sure hoped so! She loved lovely, mountains days. Sometimes when she runs away from home, this is where she goes. They were relaxing. And the mountains got to cold sometimes but they never got too warm. Which is what she loved. Because she liked the warmth but not intense heat. She found it hard to breathe when it was too hot outside.
Tsubaki heard what Asami said. Instant excitement rose up inside of her. "Oh! I would love to help." She said, clapping her hands lightly together but with enough force to show her true excitement. Now that she thought about it... "I've never had a strawberry before. Can I try one from the garden when they rippen?" The happy, bright cat asked the princely rat. He looked so much more awake now. "It is hard to plant a garden?" She also asked Asami. Her voice was different than before. It wasn't cold and hateful. It was soft and happy. Caring almost. She really was excited to try something new. Seeing as there wasn't a lot that she had really done anyway. She was either too depressed or in too much pain to be able to. Maybe that could change after this trip... Maybe she could travel somewhere in the future. That would be super fun!
Tsubaki sat there and awaited Asami to answer all of her questions. It was true that cats really are curious by nature. That was another part of her that she had locked away. Her curious, constantly asking questions side. There was probably going to be a lot of surprises in store today for the dear rat. She noticed his hair seemed a bit wet and always in his face. She put up one, thin, pale finger. "I can fix your hair so it's out of your face before we work if you would like." She said in a happy tone. She now felted like she might be over whelming him a bit, so she gave him a chance to speak before her bubbly, questioning side completely took over.▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: I know right. ^-^ ANd short post D: Next one will be longer. Asami X ● What's the point in trying to be someone you're not? You're only lying to yourself. ● X *♥*~ Asami decided to at least try and get to know this side of Tsubaki, even if it was overwhelming for him. He decided that there was no point in acting dull, even though he wasn't the energetic type of person. He never was, he was mainly calm and to himself. He always talked when spoken to and was polite, but he just wasn't completely accepting her new attitude toward him. She was acting like a normal female, just not so normal. He looked away from her, taking another sip of his coffee and exhaling a deep breath he'd held onto for a while. His purple eyes blinked a few times, then looked back over to Tsubaki when her reaction to his statement came through, she sounded more excited than a few moments earlier.. If that were possible, which he did believe it to be so, he'd never seen her this way.
She wanted to help him make his strawberry farm? That was strange, he never knew the cat to be so eager to help him. Actually, he never thought she'd ever want to be anywhere near him. So what exactly was wrong with her? He pushed the thought back again, he didn't want arise a troublesome arguement, he just wanted to sail through this day without any issues. When she said she'd never had a strawberry, he almost burst out laughing, but he didn't. The humor was behind his eyes, clear as day. He'd never heard that before. Strawberries were his favorite fruit, so he was obviously shocked when she had said that. He blinked, he would have to give her one.."Of course you can.." He said softly, obviously less enthusiastic than her, but that was just because he was a quiet person and it was still early in the morning for him. She asked him another question.."No, it's not hard.." He said softly again, answering her questions patiently one by one. He never had a problem with answering questions, he didn't mind a lot of them either, he was a patient person.
Asami flipped his bangs back once again and looked at her, she wanted to trim his hair? Did he trust her enough to do that? He wondered on the thoughts passing through his mind, but he mainly wondered if this was a trap and she planned on slitting his throat with the sissors. He had a mental image of her doing just that right on cue and he shivered almost, his eyes looking away quickly, but returning to his coffee and taking a sip or two, savoring the last cup of the day.."Sure.." He mumbled again, deciding to give her the benefit of the doubt and allow her to be near him with a sharp object, besides, he needed to cut his hair anyways. If he tried to do it, it'd be all lopsided and such. He was too cheap to get a real haircut and even though he was good at many things, cutting hair wasn't one of them. (OOC: I don't mind short posts, as long as there's something to work with and at least two paragraphs, I have a block every now and then haha)

I love sweet things." She said, with a very happy expression. Tsubaki had never felt this happy and didn't know exactly how to contain herself. So she was letting the overwhelming feeling just completely consume her because of that fact. The last time she had been like this was probably sometime when she was a baby and she was with her mom. And that was when she only about a week old. "I wonder how the texture of the strawberry feels." The cat thought to herself, putting her finger on her chin and then dropping it down into her lap when she stopped thinking about half a moment later. She didn't seem to really think about a certain thing for too long in this state. So was just so curious that so many thoughts were running through her head!
Tsubaki let her shoulders could from being tense because of excitement to being into a relaxed, happy, slump. She was relieve it wasn't hard. "I'm happy it's not very hard... I've never really done work before... So I'm hoping I learn how to do it fast." She told him, almost as a warning that she might need some help. The girl was a visual learner more than anything. That's why she hated most of the classes at the high school. Most of the ones she had just read from a book and showed you nothing. Which made her a bit frustrated because of that! That's why she loved her art class. They had a lot of visual examples! Too bad she skipped a lot. She giggled the tiniest bit at the thought. "So I hope I learn fast so I don't frustrate you with slow learning." She told him, rubbing the back of her neck a bit and truly meaning what she said about hoping she was a fast learner. She would probably get frustrated and stubborn with learning slow too. And she didn't want her good mood to be ruined!
Tsubaki's smile turned into a big happy grin. "Okay. I will be right back then!" She said and hoped up. She half jogged into the kitchen and went through most of the drawers for scissors. She finally found the perfect pair of scissors to trim the cat's hair. After that she walked back into the living room and sat down on the couch. She smiled at him. "Come sit in front of me? I want to be able to do this right... I trim my own hair all the time. So you can trust me. I get dead ends a lot." She explain to him, the scissors in a safe position in her hands. The sharp end was hidden in her fist. She held it in a position to show that she was just going to harmlessly trim him hair. After this she would go upstairs and clean up a bit for going outside and working in the dirt. She didn't mind getting dirty. She was used to it to be honest. She never knew about this place, so when she disappeared into the woods for days on end, then she got a bit dirty. Well a lot dirty.
Tsubaki's eyes were gentle but still full of the surprising excited, energy. She remembered the humor that she had noted in his eyes earlier. But she had been so happy and so excited to help that she decided it wasn't the time for her to point it out. But thinking about it added a hint of humor to gets eyes as well as she softly stared at Asami, waiting for him to act. Waiting for him to sit in front of her so that she could properly trim his hair. She had been trimming her own hair since she learned out to use scissors when she was 6 years old. So many years of practice. It took a lot of practice to be able to trim her hair straight but she eventually got it. She had been able to trim her hair straight after only a few years. She was so excited the day she got it right. That may have been the only other time she had ever gotten excited. But she had never, ever gotten this excited before!▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ ▆ OutOfCandy: Ok good. ^-^ I hope this is good. biggrin I love how excited she is to help her mortal enemy xD
