Another year, another rose,
Another whispered "I love you."
Another besotted fool,
Has fallen prey to the "Valentine's flu."
The flowers grow and each is plucked,
For a gentle and lovely hand,
Perhaps with a little trinket,
Or the ultimate wedding band.
The day is finally ending,
The sun is sinking low,
But a melody is still playing,
Still playing soft and low.
Two hands in love are joining,
Two hearts are beating in time,
Two people in the world,
Have found each other's rhyme.
The moon is rising slowly
To bathe all in its light,
The cosmos must have plotted
To have such a beautiful night.
The lonely hearts are breaking
For their loves are nowhere near,
Their mournful sighs echo
bitter - sweet - clear.
The red lights slowly dim,
As each one dreams of love,
That wretched, wonderful, magical feeling
Sent from the heavens above.

How do you know when you're in love?
Do you think of him, every second of the day?
Do you want to see him, every second of the day?
Do you miss him, every second of the day?
Do you listen to love songs, and think of him?
Do you see happy couples, and think of him?
Do you imagine your future, and think of him?
Do you hear his name, and smile?
Do you look at pictures of him, and smile?
Do you replay moments with him in your head, and smile?
Do you wish you had all of those moments back?
Do you wish for more memories with him?
Do you wish you could hear him say those words again?
I do. heart

What if he's your Romeo, but you're not his Juliet?
He's your Jack, but you're not his Sally?
He's your Aladdin, but you're not his Jasmine?
What if he's your universe, but you're not even a star?
He's your life, but you're not even a memory?
He's your heart, but you're not even a vessel?
What do you do when he's all you think about, but you're not in his thoughts?
He's your dream come true, but he never dreams about you?
His love is your drug that isn't being supplied?
What if you love him, but he doesn't love you?
What do you do?

To bandage wings broken
from falling from the most
wonderful skies, again and again.

To cleanse me of the darkness
To remedy mistakes made
with the most unbelievably
vain foolishness, again and again.
You've always been there
Though I can't always see
To stay by my side
Through the most childish
of nightmares, again and again...
You've always been there
A gentle ghost in the dark
To lend strength to me
in the most trying of times
you save me, again and again.

Fire
Thirsting for you

my body went numb

what if...
What if i could go back change all that i knew
