Alejandro was not surprised when she stayed, after all, this was Audrey. Their conversations after meetings were a regular thing. He set down the copy of Exit Here on his desk and looked at her when she spoke. He chuckled and shrugged, "we can do it whenever. However, I am starving." It didn't matter that he had eaten a mere hour ago, Alejandro was a glutton and for some reason it worked for him. Probably a super-high motabilism or something... oh well. The point is, he's always hungry. He rubbed his stomach and rose an eyebrow, "would you like to join me for dinner?" He picked up his stuff and unlocked a drawer on his desk - retrieving his car keys, wallet and cell phone. After sliding the three possessions into their rightful place Alejandro turned to her. "Well?" He motioned for her to follow him and locked the door to the classroom, leading her outside.

Alejandro walked to his car and looked over at her. "Hmmm... how about the Haus of Pizza down the street?" It was close by and it was a nice-ish restaurant... but it was still casual enough that it wouldn't look weird for them to go. "Want me to take you or will you drive?" He leaned against the door of his car, ignoring the growling of his stomach.

Alejandro nodded and slipped into his own vehicle. On a teacher's salary he wasn't able to purchase something as nice as a Charger but his '08 dark blue Camaro was nice enough. He headed towards the restaurant, a strange feeling in his chest. What it was wasn't clear to him... he thought it was an attraction but to Audrey? She was a beautiful girl, but she was his student! It was illegal, as well as immoral of him to be even considering her... yet that's exactly what he was doing.
Alejandro rose his non-driving hand to his mouth, biting the skin of his knuckle. It was a sort of nervous habit and an odd one at that. He released a pent-up sigh as he pulled into the restaurant parking lot. He knew she wasn't far behind and walked in to get them a table. The hostess looked at him and her eyes widened slightly. One of his other students... oh great. Alejandro smiled, "hey there Amber. How are you?" Amber smiled, im fine Mr. Alacran. Table for how many?"

Alejandro held up two fingers and then walked outside to get some fresh air as he waited for Audrey

Alejandro turned to Audrey when she walked up, a small smile on his lips. "Alright." He opened the door and held it for her before entering behind her. By then, Amber had found them a booth. The young female turned to greet Audrey then sort of froze. "Audrey... and Mr. Alacran... ok then." She lead them to a table, evidently annoyed with something.

Alejandro was both amused and disturbed by this reaction. He pulled out the chair for Audrey then sat opposite her. He already knew what he was getting so he didn't bother picking up the menu. He had always loved the Fettuchine Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms. He looked at Audrey, "so... did you have any idea's for the book club?" He figured they were here, they should talk business. Although... this honestly felt more like a 'date' to him, which was foolish. Why would going to dinner with his student feel like a date? The only explanation would be if Alejandro had feelings for Audrey but that was just absurd... right?

Alejandro grinned when she said she already knew what she wanted. He turned to the waitress. "I'll have a Diet Coke please. I also believe we're ready to order." He glanced at Audrey to verify before continuing to speak. "I would like the Fettuchine Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms please."

At the moment... Alejandro's love life was a difficult one. You see, although no one knew it... he had been engaged up until about six months ago when his 'ex-fiance' called off the wedding because she wasn't sure if she wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. Not meaning that Alejandro was a bad man... just that she wanted more than one man and he wasn't going to have that. So, he'd been keeping to himself lately. More of a flirt here and there but nothing worthy of being called a 'relationship'. Alejandro began to zone out when the sound of her vibrating phone brought him back to reality. He felt foolish for simply spacing out like that but ehh. It happens.

Alejandro noticed the slight annoyance on Audrey's face when the waitress began to hit on him and couldn't place why she'd get upset... finally he realized it probably simply made her umcomfortable. He looked at the waitress, "i need you to stop trying to hit on me. It's making my... date ... uncomfortable and I'd appreciate it if a different waiter could serve us. Thanks."

With that, he turned back to Audrey, the waitress didn't exist at the moment... only Audrey

This... was definitely awkward. Alejandro had no idea what to say. He took a sip of his beverage before grinning, "you ever come here?"

He looked up when a waiter brought their food and thanked the man before looking at Audrey. "This is one of my favorite places. It's small, but it's rather relaxed here. Not too fancy but not some random fast-food joint." He lifted his fork, taking a bite of chicken and mushrooms
