Ok. I was diggin through my desk the other day and I found my first Redwall poem. I wrote this when I was in 6th or 7th grade. I hope you dont critize it too harsh.
Welcome to Redwall. Open to all gentle beasts. And for kind beasts one and all, There's plenty of feasts.
Plenty of animals, Raging big to small. Inside these high, redstone walls, Jotous shouts are calles.
There's plenty of otters, mice, moles, and squirrels. Dibbuns with soup that could be no hotter, You can watch them dance and whirl.
There may be a badger, And maybe a hare. But there's always a kind lecture for some dibbuns there.
These big sandstone walls are watched by a spirit. You may hear his calls, But mainly only some can hear it.
His name is Martin, a warrior bold, To his words you should harken, they're worth more than gold.
So stop on by if you're ever near, You'll be welcomed with open paws. Have a feast with the gentle beasts here. So if traveling, you can take a nice pause
I took out a stanza and here it is: Redwall is lead by an abbess or abbot and also from warriors clad in green habbits.
So how was it?

Poetry rocks!
'ee loves a tale of past Redwall, When the dusk covers the land, In Winter, Spring or fall, By 'ee fire oh so grand. Father Abott writing so, For weary travelers a place to go, Food and joy to be had by all, In the glorious Abbey of Redwall.

Okay, I wrote a poem. Yay Tracy! Well, it's more like a ditty. But yeah. Here ya are:
Oh a squirrel lives it life up in a tree Way up in the branches is where you’ll see The brushtailed creature - but no! not me Down on the ground is where I’ll be
‘Cause a hare is better than a squirrel indeed With all his courage and stealth and speed Why be anything other, tell me A hare is the best creature to be!
Now those silly otters you know They live in the water and go with the flow They spend their lives all sopping wet But I’ll stay dry, you can bet
‘Cause a hare is better than an otter indeed With all his courage and stealth and speed Why be anything other, tell me A hare is the best creature to be!
Oh a hedgehog you can never touch ‘Cause you’ll be pricked, and as is such Wouldn’t you rather hug a hare? With fur so soft, I do declare
‘Cause a hare is better than a hog indeed With all his courage and stealth and speed Why be anything other, tell me A hare is the best creature to be!
What about a mole, you ask me now If a hare is better, please tell me how! So listen for I haven’t time to chat A mole talks funny, and that is that!

That's good, but it doesn't really sound like a hare. Not that I should say anything, I can't write, especially poetry.
