My dad specifically got one so he could do work projects at home. Computers were crazy expensive back then though, it was like $3.5k or something and it wasn't even top of the line.

Like Ghar I had a computer since a young age -around when Windows 95 was fairly new- but didn't get internet until (I think) 2000. JUST THINK, WE GET TO TELL OUR KIDS WE REMEMBER WHEN ONLY SOME PEOPLE HAD COMPUTERS AND WHEN INTERNET WAS NEW.
They're gonna think we struggled for survival xd
