Striker heard more moment and scanned the area getting on covenant signals but when he turned around he realized there was a life form behind him hiding behind a wall. This lifeforms looked ready to attack and heavy armored. He pointed his MA5B at the wall and started to fire at the figure His bullets would punch through the wall as he put his hand on his Pistol just in case.

Striker kept his rifle pointed at the figure who by her voice sounded female but he didn't lower his guard. He stared until he recognized the armor fro mold pictures so he definitely wasn't lowering his weapon " State yuor name and why your here...bounty hunter." he said staying right where he was just in case he had to fight her though he had to rush to the transport before anything bad happened to it as it was his job to make sure those civilians got off safe. Earth was a lost battle and they would have to abandon it entirely.

Striker sighed " No one else should be here, we've been ordered to evacuate and retreat." he said " Earth is a lost battle." he looked around " You should go back to yuor ship, the covenant forces are going to glass earth in an hour your forces should have retreated." he said and looked around " I don't have time." he placed his rifle on his back and started to run as he seemed to get a distress call from another spartan at that very moment. He opened communication " Hello..This is Keither-345 respond Melanie- 598!" he yelled but on response. He shook his head and started to run faster towards the outside of the city where the transport was based.

Striker reached the edge of the city however he paused seeing the covenant bombarding the transport using hunters and elites using Type-52 Guided Munitions Launchers. He wasn't able to do anything as the transport finally exploded. The explosion was large killing everyone in the area and it even reached the spartan blinding him and overtaking his sight and it was all over in a flash. His ears were ringing as his vision started to become clearer . He looked around slowly turning over and slowly standing. He grabbed his helmet which had been blown off his vision still blurry. He looked around seeing Covenant drop ships over head as he took the moment to try and recover. He had failed his mission and he actually survived it which to him was not a good thing. He staggered around for a moment trying to fully recover from the shock of what he just witnessed. He had never seen it before as most people got out alive but he had failed.

Striker hid finally recovered as the dropships began to drop of covenant obviously looking to destroy both Cam and Striker and the rest of the frontline troops if any were left. He pulled out both his MA5B and MA37 and began to fire as soon as the grunts and elites landed. They really needed to leave now as they only had minutes before earth was glassed. He backed up killing and shooting anyone who tired to advance he got hit a few times but his ceilidhs protected him. He placed his MA5B on his back and kept shooting until he noticed the bounty hunter fighting a hunter she had obviously never fought the covenant as she made the mistake into firing her weapon into its armor which made it invincible. He grabbed his Energy blade and ran at her firing at the hunter to throw it off a bit before stabbing his blade into his abdomen and he pushed as he shot in their. The hunter fell in moments as he pulled the blade out. He stared at the bounty hunter " We gotta go...earth is lost." he said shooting past her when he noticed the army of covenant advancing.

Striker nodded and looked around as he started to move back still shooting as they came forward and lines of them fell. He looked at her and wished she would hurry but then he saw explosions in the distance as they had started to bombard the planet. He turned and started to run hoping she kept up being as not even she would survive this and he certainly wouldn't. He was just need a lift back to the Sentinel and he would be out of her hair and her out of his helmet which. He couldn't believe they lost earth but the attack was so sudden they weren't prepared.

Striker stared at her " It'll take a few hours but just keep heading straight you'll come across the UNSC sentinel and then we can part ways." he said and leaned against the wall and crossed his arms " Its near Installation 04 so there won't be any attacks on the way." he said and shook his head " This is all so strange...this war ended years ago what kind of tricks are the covenant trying to pull." he said and looked out the window into the vast emptiness of space and stared turning off his communicator and going silent.

Striker stared at her not making a sound as he just shook his head. He didn't make a single sound but he was making it clear he did not attack her. The UNSC weren't terrorist and though their relationship with the Galactic Federation Army was not the best they would not attack. He knew she was the creatures attacking and could tell he was on the front lines for days continuously fighting making sure the others got out safe and she had just arrived. He remained against was wall with his hands on his side just in case as he continued to stare into space.
