The way my mom speaks of it, oh Lord. So sad..
RIP all of the lives lost. I pray for the victims who lost family also.

Let's see...I was five when it happened, but since I did not live in the US and didn't know much news, I didn't really know what it was until now. I watched a few documentaries of it and it really touched me. I would like pay tribute to Frank De Martini, Pablo Ortiz and also to all the firefighters that tried their best and sacrificed their lives to save people. Rest in peace guys. (:

I was 7 years old on 9/11. I was in school, and I recall we went home early that day, the teachers kept coming into our classroom, they were talking to eachother, whispering in the hallway. We were too young to know what was going on right then, they didn't tell us anything. But I watched the news, I remember seeing the images of the plane crashing into the towers, and the collapse. I remember the reporters talking about how they were on Ground Zero. I knew bad men destroyed a couple of buildings...
I remember being scared, and wondering if there will be more attacks. ... I also remember saying something like, "Daddy, where do you keep your hunting gun? Can I go kill the terrorists?" ... I was a twisted little kid, I guess. .___.
My second grade teacher had a realative in the Pentagon. She told us a story about him, how that day went for him, luckily, he survived. I also remember she cried that day....
It's weird... when I look at the skyline of New York, it looks like there's a gap, a hole, even though I don't remember what it looked like before 9/11.

I remember at school they called us all inside to the classrooms, cause we were at recess. People were afraid to even go out. I remember the strange silence, cause there were no planes in the air, cause all flights were stopped. People were so nervous, churches became packed. Breaks my heart that everyone became so scared, but also makes me proud how most of the whole world kinda banded together, people of different races, religions, and backgrounds, helped each other out.
I came home and the videos of the burning towers were literally on every station, news stations, cooking stations, children's stations every channel was that.
Just thinking about the videos makes my stomach churn.
I get chills just thinking about it. The world has never been the same since.
No matter how much I dislike war, I also appreciate all the soldiers, marines, airmen, and sailors who since that day, have been fighting to protect my country from letting it happen again.
God Bless all those innocent souls who died that day. And also all the men and women who have died since, fighting the war on terror. I'll never forget. 3

I remember being in my Kindergarten class, sitting on the blue underwater carpet, reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar as a sort of book report, when the announcement came over the loudspeaker- "All students please report to the auditorium at this time." That is when we watched the news , and a whole lot of people were crying, including the adults. I was too young to understand, so I cried because my best friend was crying. Her father had been on the 88th floor. ~Rest in Peace~

I don't remember a thing about that day since I was four, but when I was 7 my mom brought me to New York with my Aunt and they brought me to where the towers had been. I knew that a lot of people had died, even though I didn't really know much about it, and I remember noticing that whenever an airplane passed everyone would look at it as it passed. I remember crying when my mom told me about it that day. Rest In Peace~

I was in preschool, and we didn't get sent home early. I remember that my teacher kept turning on the tv again and again, and then kept turning it off. And my mom picked my sister and i up early, and she was really tense. I think i turned on the tv when I got home, and I saw the buildings. I'm pretty sure I thought it was an ad for a movie, but I remember that there was this really graphic photo of the towers the next day on the newspaper.

I was in daycare when it happened. I don't remember pretty much anything, but my parents do. I just can't believe how depressing watching these shows are, that these terrorists just crashed us at just a random beautiful day for the U.S. It's just really sad, but it did bring all of the people in Lower Manhattan together to work united. Earlier I was watching all these News shows, [I did watch the live one] and the History channel. I just cried and cried, which it weird, because we were so young when it happened. I can't believe that it's just so violent. But how do they hijack the first plane? One of the shows I watched showed that. Were they on it when they boarded, or did they jump? I just think it's very terrible, but in a way, their deaths were not in vain. It brought us together.
Rest In Peace.

I personally remember watching the news as the 2nd tower was hit on that day, 10 years ago. To all of those that lost a family mate, parent, son, sister/brother, or anything else dear to you, I pray to you guys and also bless you. To all of those that did fall on that day, R.I.P.

I can only vaguely remember, but I was in school at the time. Living in the city, the school evacuated and students were picked up by their parents. I didn't have school for the next week and a half to two weeks due to the fact that many students had immediate family/relatives that passed away during the attack.
I can remember noticing how tense my parents and sister were, and crying when I found out what happened to some of my close friends' families. And I remember that I didn't get to watch tv for a week, my parents kept the televisions on the news channels.
I sulked for a little while because I had always loved the towers. They just amazed me in a way, and I was angry that they were gone. Though at the time I didn't realize the seriousness of it all.
RIP all who were lost during 9/11
