Hmm... more emotional, I would think.
I'm more of a graphic writer... Anywho, for an emotional writer, you really need to separate horror from thriller. if you want horror then focus on fear, if you want thriller then focus on suspense. For the best horror stories I've seen, they were gritty at short times and kept short suspense instead of longer suspense. Like the difference between a gunshot and a firecracker in terms of length of the suspense. ERGH I'm not making sense. Just try to make it catch the reader.
