Is it wrong that I find this funny?

I think he was assuming people would just list them in the MP and those who cant get cash could buy them there. Bad choice of wording on his part.

You're no doubt right. I still think it's funny.

I don't play zOMG really, but if there if it's not worth my while to spend an hour or so on, I won't play. I have better things to do with my time.
