Character name: Rin
Weapons: Fire Magic
History: Rin is a baby dragon. He's smart enough to memorize names and repeat them, though he cannot fluently communicate through speech to humans. He spends his days in the marketplace in a cage waiting to be sold to a nice owner. He loves to people watch in his spare time, and has always wondered what it might be like to be human. Though, it doesn't look like he'll get that wish any time soon.
Appearance: Rin is red with tough scales. He has two small horns that curl to the back of his head. His eyes are quite large at his age.
Evil or not: Depends on who he is with and how he develops
Abilities: Flight
Fire Magic
Strong Jaws
Strong tail
Crush: He's a little too young for that...
Items: He's a dragon. He has no items.
Twilight form: A human, oddly enough. Though, he has no powers over magic in the Twilight Realm and must rely on his strength and natural abilities.

Rin sat in his cage, eying the crowd in Hyrule Market. He had been there for about a month already. Apparently nobody cared much for a dragon as a pet. That or they didn't have 1,000 rupees to spare.
Rin was agitated. He got up, gave a little growl and turned in his cage until he found a more comfortable spot and laid himself down. With his tail curled and tucked in, he continued watching the crowd waiting for something to happen.

Katrina darted through the crowd when the guard spotted her. She couldn't take the chance that they weren't still looking for her. She stumbled, falling to her knees when she came face to face with Rin, almost freezing when she saw the small creature curl up into a tight ball. "Excuse me sir... can I ask you how much he is?" She asked politely. Her heart raced at hearing the price, 1,000 rupees? She looked back down at the small dragon, no... he deserved to be out of that small cage. Digging through her rupee bag, she handed the money over and took the cage. Stepping outside the town, she bent down opening the cage. "There you go... you're free now..." Katrina gave him a soft smile.

Rin was startled. He was being carried away by a stranger! This was it. He was sure that this was what he was waiting for; an adventure!
Suddenly he was taken out of the cage.
Free?
Rin tilted his head and a gave a small "Brrip" like sound as he looked up at the girl, confused.
There were no other humans around. He liked being around humans. They were interesting.

{{sorry its so long!}}

Link smoothed his hand over his stained wooden sword absentmindedly, picking off a chip of old varnish with his callused fingers. The faded green and yellow symbols reminded him of the slowly burning grasses of the ranch as spring was swept up by the heat of summer. Several goats nearby grazed placidly on the dry growth, sweating slightly as the morning dawned with a hot breeze and a promise of beating sun. Link shielded his eyes and looked towards the east, watching a hawk circle towards the rising sun emerging from the horizon.

As the sky turned pink, Link stood up and brushed off the dead grass from his pants. When Rusl gets back, I need to ask him to re-varnish my sword.... he mentally reminded himself, and swiped a horseshoe-shaped blade of brown grass. He gently raised it to his lips, and let his breath skate across the plant as a song was blown out of the other end of the grass blade. Nearby, a grazing horse calmly pricked her ears and came obediently trotting over. Link smiled and rubbed the mare's nose affectionately. "Hey Epona.... looks like its going to be another blistering day..." he murmured to her softly. She merely shook her mane and nuzzled her nose against her master's hand.

Rayne looked back at the forest as he crossed a wooden bridge held up by rope. He was panting heavily, and he could feel a sharp pain in his side as he forced himself to breathe. He relaxed when he saw no guards, but perhaps he lost them as soon as he stepped into Hyrule Field. Rayne knew perfectly well that those soldiers wouldn't dare to cross into something that contained a threat. He was safe, and he probably didn't need to run all the way through the forest to avoid them.

He shook his head and decided to continue anyway. Better be safe then sorry, he always told himself. He came across a spring set surround by sand and rocks, and little patches of vegetation such as horse-shoe shaped weed. He could also see wooden gates, but they weren't being used as of now, it seemed. Rayne removed his cape, tossed it to the said and washed his face in the water. The water splashed into his face, and he couldn't help but to feel a little re-energized. Perhaps he would stay here for a while.

Once he was done with that, he decided to proceed pass the spring. "Hello? Anyone live here?" Rayne called out, cupping his hands to make his voice carry out further.

Viktor saw Katrina talking to a little animal. He was too far to see so he continued to walk towards the direction of the market. His outline was barely visible through the heat waves.

Machiko sat in a dark alley, waiting for the shoptender nearby to let his guard down and turn in the other direction. She had a bag ready to snatch some food into the bag. When the time was right, she quickly darted towards the shop, snatched as much food as possible and ran back into the alley. The unfortunate thing was that the shoptender saw and started to chase after her. 'Darn! I wasn't careful this time,' she thought as she ran away, trying to find a place to hide again.

Link's stomach growled voraciously as he watched his mare devour the remnants of an apple he had brought from home. Right on cue, Fado, the ranch manager, trotted up the hill and jumped over the gate. He waved to Link, who hoisted himself up onto Epona's back and slowly cantered over. "Morning, Fado!" he called cheerily. Fado grinned back. "Ah, hey there Link. Sorry I'm late, the mayor wanted to talk about the pumpkins again," he replied sheepishly, grabbing a coarse brush that hung from a peg on the outside of the goat barn. Link's stomach gurgled again, and Fado looked up with a knowing look. "You know, you are allowed to have breakfast before you head up here," he suggested. Link smiled and patted his stomach. "Well, I'm off to eat then. I'll be back soon," he said, and urged Epona into a gallop before leaping clear of the fence.

The village was slowly waking up as Link trotted down the main path. He dropped his wooden sword off at Rusl's house with a quick 'Thank you' to his expecting wife, and headed towards home. Once he reached his house, he scampered up the ladder and tossed open the door, making a bee-line for the food. After wolfing down an apple scone with butter, he headed outside and slid down to ground level. He placed a hand on his mare's flank, noticing she was sweating already. "All right, Epopna, off to the spring for a quick rub down," he chuckled, grabbing the necessary utensils before leading his horse towards Ordon Spring.

After a short while, a golden bug flew past Rin's face. Without much thought, it fascinated him and he started chasing it, hoping to catch it in his mouth. Eventually this led him back into Hyrule Market.

(Don't worry, I'm sure their paths will cross again. ^^)

Rayne stopped calling as soon as he heard hooves moving across the ground. He was calling, but he didn't expect anyone to answer. He bolted back towards the spring and looked for a place to hide. His eyes found a small hole in the rocky wall and decided to go for it. he crawled through the hole, making sure he could still see out towards the spring.

Another thought kicked in, but it was already too late. He had left his cape in the sand. Rayne cursed but kept his face low and how body as close to the ground as possible. He even tugged the ribbon out of his hair that kept it back, and let it loose to help hide his presence in the cave. It wasn't a very dark cave, nor was it very large. Rayne could see the spring in the front, but he could see some light from the back.

Viktor was then seen running past Katrina as a red and black blur. Entering the Hyrule Market and gently pushed people aside. With a slight curse the dragon was out of his sight. He then ran towards a house and did a wall jump, pulling himself onto the roof and looking down. His eyes locked on the red animal as it ran around the Market.
