Okay. As of right now, everyone is accepted. Remember, as stated above, health rolls are not possible. You immediately earn max health after every level.

If another player does not join within the next few days, I can at least get you guys through introductions and a basic training style course (not the mech training course)

So I'll have to wait for level 7 to take my advanced class then, because none of the Future feats were added to any of the Bonus Feat lists.

It happens. Just note that no one will be operating a mecha well till then, cause without that feat:

Characters without this feat take a –4 penalty on Balance, Climb, Drive, Escape Artist, Hide, Move Silently, Pilot, and Tumble checks when operating a mecha. Furthermore, they cannot run or charge.

Perhaps there could be some retraining, a la 3.5's PHB II? Or we could get it as a plot-related bonus feat?

uhh, none of those feats are actually needed in the operation of the mech. like he said earlier when i asked about needing drive and pilot, those things are more like tricks....

I said operating one well. We'll be basically legged, klunky tanks and not like what people view mecha as.

well...from the way he describes, that's kinda the point. These things are brand new, so of course we aren't all that good at using them right away, then again, some of us have the skill ranks to compensate.

Vorastrix is correct. These machines are brand new. So of course it is obvious that you won't be all that good at maneuvering them just yet. However, as story progresses, if you don't take the feat yourself, you can equip your mech with a device that compensates in place of the feat.

And now, I will ask you guys whether you want to wait for more players or go ahead and do introductionary parts of the adventure or what. This adventure can be ran with just 3 people, just the comms guy has to NPCd until someone joins for him/her.

Well, what goes into being a comm specialist? I mean, is there anything specifically that one would need to qualify?

Hmm. Not sure exactly how to answer your question so I will just give a little bit of info towards how this person has/should be.

The comms specialist is going to be the main support soldier for the team. He will be available to call in precision air strikes on some missions or even supply drops from a Weaponized version of the SR-71 Blackbird. In order for him to qualify to even be picked for the job, he would need to have some kind of background in radio work or the like. Also, he would need to be very capable to run computers and read maps (since he will be using a satellite perspective to assist the soldiers on the ground). A military background is not necessarily required for the comm specialist since they are just looking for a very proficient radio worker.

I hope that answered your question. If it didn't then just go ahead and ask even more questions ^_^

So, sounds like basically a Smart or Dedicated hero, to be honest.

I say, if we don't get any more recruits soon, we look into starting and let people still join up to 6.
