Viral withdrew a package of ground meat and made her way to the cabinet for spaghetti. As she set the stove underneath a large pot of water, her patience quickly flew past. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a droid wiping down a few tables.
She called out to it.
"You, droid" she spoke, followed by a beckoning motion with her fingers.
The droid approached, rag in hand.
"This boy needs a meal of spaghetti and meatballs, please get it done" she ordered, motioning to the materials she had already set up.
Viral was developing a habit of treating the droids like servants.
The droid almost raised out its hand in protest, but then quickly covered that idea and walked past to sanitize its hands and get to work.
Viral nodded, her eyes following the droid as it moved over to the boiling pot and began to break the dried noodles in half, then dropping them into the pot.
After a moment, she turned back to Jack.
"So, how long have you been here, Jack" she asked.

"Place starting to grow on you yet?" she asked, half wondering if the boy was enjoying his stay at the Hive tower.
Her first couple of days felt strange to her. In fact, she still hasn't felt fully comfortable with the place. Perhaps she never will. Her previous nomadic life has left her with an uneasiness about staying in one place too long.
There was a soft bubbling sound as the water began to boil. The droid took shifts stirring the spaghetti and preparing the meatballs and red sauce. The kitchen was beginning to smell rather delightful.

Viral nodded in agreement, moving her gloved hands together as she leaned against the counter.
"So.. what kind of powers do you have?" she asked, almost whispering, a smile taken over her face.
The fact that they all were now in a building with numerous superpeople still fascinated her.

Jack was a little startled by her question. No one really asked him about that before so he dosent really know how to explain it. So he showed her the palms of his hands and then two 10 in blades emerged from the skin.

Viral's eyes widened with interest.
Suddenly his costume name made all the more sense.
"Wow, so.. you just think it and they slide out?" she asked, observing the 10 inch blades. She wondered how many people had fallen under these metal tools.

Viral blinked at his question, wondering for a moment how she should demonstrate.
A plant stood in its pot, conveniently by the counter. She pulled off her glove and grabbed at the plant's stem. Almost immediately, it began to shrivel and brown, wilting against her tight grip.
After another moment she let go. She held on again, there was a small glow, and the plant slowly regained its former self.
"I can take and transfer energy. It works with any living thing" she stated quietly, as if she were thinking back on a far memory.

((at last, the long awaited spaghetti and meatballs xD))
The sounds of cooking died down as the droid placed a hearty serving on one large plate and rested it in front of the young boy.
It stood in place for a moment, observing the two. Perhaps it was waiting for yet another command?
Viral raised her eyebrows confrontationally, and the droid returned to tidying the kitchen and dining hall.
"Well, there you have it" Viral stated, patting the boy on the back and walking over to the refrigerator yet again to grab herself a small snack. The aromas of the meal were making her hungry.

~*Deadly Nightshade stroleld into the Kitchen, staring about at the variety of food avaliable and grimacing...
The only plant-life in the room were half-dead flowers by the window and the plant-girl shuddered before moving to them and whispering words of encouragement....
A simple drop of her green...could it even be called blood anymore?...essence and the flowers were full and in great health...
She turned back, "Anything to eat here?" *~

((haha i probably wouldn't be able to tell you sweatdrop i've been gone a while too. was hoping new members would come in and knock themselves out on the boards but so far i haven't noticed much change))
"Mhm" Viral replied, finding an ice cream sandwich. She was in the act of unwrapping the treat when the one called Deadly Nightshade entered. Viral stopped looking up at the creature. She remembered seeing this plant-girl at Derix's office.
"So, you eat human food?" she asked, removing a part of the wrapping enough to take a bite of the ice cream treat.
