I took it and got the monroe. I don't even have that pierced. I had a labret, and I do not like the flat back labret style piercing. it was starting to wear away at the gums. I do have a smiley (upper frenulum) pierced. It is a flatback captive with a blue gem in the bead. it is harder than hell to get the jewelry and you have to be careful because the tissue is very delicate and can tear easily. Lots of people are unable to get this piercing due to a lack of tissue. I only have my top lip because I dont have enough tissue to get my bottom lip. But the frenulum under my tongue has room for multiple piercings, but because of the location in the bottom of the mouth the jewelry is subject to plaque buildup. I also have my septum and my right nostril pierced, a dermal anchor in my sternum, my lobes are STRECHED! (not gaged, gages are sizes not piercings. ) those are 0g. about the size of a pencil. and i have 2 private ones. pretty obvious which one if there are 2 of them. I used to be a piercer at a few tattoo shops. It is easy unless you just shouldn't be doing it. Most piercings aren't for everyone. The anatomy must be suitable. A knowledgeable and professional piercer will tell you if the piercing is doable or impossible. The should also explain what healing will be like and what to expect as you and your piercing change. Sometimes it is as easy as pinch and poke, sometimes it can be hell. but the most part piercing is quick, easy money.
