Carol Reed (Talon) sat on the floor of the library, her back and right foot nestled comfortably against the two isles of the Ancient Mythologies section. A hard-cover book was cradled in her hands; she had chosen it according to the scent of its pages. Carol had recently taken a liking to the old stories of gods and goddesses; the current subject of her numerous and endless interest phases. She liked how the characters in each myth had specific powers, and how humanly quarrels amongst the gods seemed to leave their world at a standstill. She wondered about the demi-gods and the mythical creatures-- they reminded her of her own world. The world of the superheroes.
Except her world was never really at a standstill.
Evil was out there, plotting and enforcing serious threats to the planet. Even now, in the safety corridors of the Titan Tower, voices of her peers discussed the wrong-doings of the super-villains. Carol, young still, didn't feel the desire to dwell on protecting the world at all times. Instead, she brought the book closer to her face (despite her already perfect vision) and immersed herself in myth.

"So what does does it say?" Astorl said as he waved his hand infornt of him though they both knew that unless they wanted his powers to increase and go out of control (sometimes) that he was forced to make himself blind.

she opened the book on physic abilities and looked under weaknesses. "according to this, to prevent an attack that could be fatal avoid eye contact. if u have physic abilities, the best way to protect your self is to aim for your aponent's emotional bond. meaning find something that might trigger emotions."

then jane opened the book on dark forces and looked for weaknesses, then she shuddered. she couldn't find any. all she could find was. "if u confront someone that controls dark energy, the best thing you can do is run."

"For you maybe but my mother is one of the most powerfull deamons known in the underworld and my father (Astorl said the word Father with great distaste) is one of the most powerful scorcers in the world today" Astrol said as he uttered a chant and made miniture danceing ice sculpture appear as if to make a piont

jane sat down at table. "what do you have against your dad?" she asked, noticing the way astrol talked about his father.

"First he is a jerk, and second he has tis twisted idea that he can bannish into the underworld anyone who opposes him by becomming his enemy and also banishing all deamons and their children there as well and that includes me as well." Astrol said. "So needless to say we're on oppisite ends."

The voices nearby repeatedly interrupted Carol's train of thought. Bringing her book against her chest, she crept to the end of the isle and leaned to her side, looking for whoever the two voices belonged to.
A boy dressed in black and a girl in a sundress holding open books stood not too far away from her isle. She knew she must have seen them before; given the months she had been staying at the Tower. Their names escaped her this moment, though. Hm.. Perhaps she should have been spending more time outside her room.
Carol continued to hold her book against her muddy-green tank top.
She listened intently, curious on what the two were discussing. Being her youthful self, she wanted in on the fuss.
She dropped the book in surprise of the alarm, and scrambled it up noisily, shoving it back into the shelf

Astrol immedantly jumped up and took action. "Titans lets go!" as Astrol spoke a chant and everyone was suddently in the combat outfits. As Astrol spoke anohter chant and suddently they all were in L.A.

~*Sphyria wandered into the vast Room of Knowledge, and lightly ran a hand against the spines of coutless L'uktay stacked upon the shelves.
Humans called them...Books...
There were so many there, many colours and sizes, they seemed categorised somehow, but did not make sense...
She pulled one out, opening to find word after word of Human scribble...she placed it on a table and tried another section, it was the same...surely another-...
A pile of books began to form upon the nearby table; none in Tremarian...
She sighed in defeat, but perked as she found a section of smaller, more colourful titles...and -X'hal be praised!- they were full of still-lifes...many coloured pictures...
Some had no words at all!
It must be the blessing of the Goddess she had found them!
Sitting down quietly to read, she opened the first one...there was a strange Vyt'th-like creature who seemed to be exceptionally hungry...*~

Chase Canston entered the library in quick strides and headed to the computer terminal. The first thing he did was search for adult-mystery genre books. He grabbed one called Murder at Midnight and began reading in a small chair
