-Why/when did you start Gaia?
I first joined Gaia in September or October of 2006. Why I not only just joined Gaia but also kept coming back here so frequently... That's something I'm still trying to figure out. I mean, I don't like anime at all & I don't like Roleplay at all, & basically just everything that Gaia represents & stands for primarily "on the surface" I just don't really like at all, lol. I suppose it was largely due to a new found boredom, since the time I started using Gaia corresponded pretty closely to the time when I dropped out of school.
-About how many friends have you made?
Many.
-Where did you meet them?(towns, guilds, forums, games, etc)
Primarily through guilds, of course, particularly Burn, lmfao. Most of the friends I have/have had on Gaia that I didn't meet through guilds I met through my series of somewhat "popular" TekTek contests in the Dressing Room forum.
-How do you think Gaia has changed since you first started Gaia until now?(Both good and bad ways are okay)
Objectively speaking, I think that without question the biggest way in which Gaia has changed since I first joined is that there's now this huge concern of sorts with how much money Gaia makes in profits from it's users; that change I feel is manifested in two very different ways. The first way is how so many users seem to talk about Gaia's suspected profits & care about it so much at all... Back when I first joined there was really no talk whatsoever about Gaia's financial situation, let alone tons of users passing various sorts of judgements on Gaia for desiring to make a profit (which is just weird). The other major way is that it is pretty clear through actions of Gaia's that they are doing much more to become more profitable; & it's those actions in & of themselves & the new developments that they lead to that are really what causes a significant change when compared to how things were in 2006. When I first joined there were no Evolving Items, no Cash Shop items (or Cash Shop at all), no "RIG"s & RIG items... as far as "special", "pricey" items were concerned there was MCs (called "Donation Items" back then) & nothing more. There are numerous other changes, of course, but it would take forever to point them all out.
-How often do you experience rude and elitist, generally bitchy to everyone people on Gaia? Where?
I do my very, very best to stay away from such negative enviornments on Gaia, but I still just can't seem to avoid running into such ridiculous behavior way more frequently than I'd like. Whenever I encounter such behavior, it's almost always in the public forums.
-Do you buy Gaia cash? If so, how often and what amount each time(I think the cards are like 5, 10, 15, etc?)
Nope.
-How fast do you earn gold?
Pretty damn fast. The more gold you have already, the easier it is to earn more, & at this point I've certainly got more than a fair amount of gold.
-What is your main source of gold gain?
Vending, Exchanging, the Marketplace... it's just all common sense & second nature to me.
-What is one thing you would change about Gaia(either remove, improve, or just change just for laughs, etc, please tell for what reason like the ones listed)
I'd certainly love to change the way many people treat eachother in the public forums & whatnot & the way in which so many areas of Gaia seem overrun by this abusive, holier-than-thou sort of high school style hierachy, only people here are much crueler than anyone I ever came across in school. (I mean, what the hell, of all the places a social enviornment like that would arise, it's just most ridiculous & maddening to see it on a site that caters to & is mostly occupied by "nerds".)
To give a much more practical answer to that question, though, since obviously you can't just "remove" something like that from any social environment... I'd certainly get rid of Sign Shops. They're beyond degrading, they put Gaia at significant risk for legal action being taken against them, & -- most abhorrently -- what those bra/clevage sign shops & such boil down to is in spirit & purpose nothing more or less than girls selling their body & sexuality via digital means in exchange for Gaia's fake money.

I joined back in February of 2006 (I have no life). I joined because one of my friends said it was cool and the rest is history.

I don't even know. My friends list has gone through many clean outs.

Mostly forums and guilds.
-How do you think Gaia has changed since you first started Gaia until now?
Well the site itself changed drastically from when I started. The users also changed. Sure you had your trolls but they were a few and far between but now, they are everywhere. Also, Gaia cash. The sole thing I do not like about this site is Gaia cash. It has inflated the economy of this site beyond belief and they get advertisement money for it. I didn't mind the buying monthly letter concept because it came straight from the user as a small "Thanks for the good times Gaia, have some money." It hasn't been all bad, however. The forums improved with the whole tipping thing, quite brilliant if I may say so. Sad how most of it is negative.
-How often do you experience rude and elitist, generally bitchy to everyone people on Gaia? Where?
I would have to say I see it mostly in the CB, no surprise there. But most of that is generally for kicks and everyone knows it. When you see it elsewhere, in the GD for instance, there is a problem. I remember when the GD was not a CB ripoff but people actually had issues.

No.

Pretty slowly compared to the rate others do. I am here to post and sometimes I'll look up and see 20k more than when I last remembered.

Posting. Lots and lots of posting.

The general gold/item/must get this item attitude. When I go to the marketplace, I scroll to the bottom to the part where it shows items about where your price level is and just preview them. I would also ditch this whole Gaia cash thing which ties into the item mentality. It is creating an army of people who are here just to buy, buy, buy and not participate in what Gaia is about: Posting, making friends, sharing idea, having a few laughs. Not buying items and trying to have the best avatar.

Freshman year of Highschool back in 2005 or 2004. Forgot the password to that account though so I use this one now.

41 Gaia friends. They are quite nice and polite people.

It's less confusing but I feel the mods can be a bit grumpy at times.

Site Feedback. People there might as well go back to college and get an English major, if they haven't got one already.

I did back in 2009. I no longer do so because I don't like spending 100 gaia cash on an item and then watch it's value in gold plummet. Might as well bought some the items I have now with gold.

Not fast enough. This past week I've been averaging about 3,000 a day.

Pay moderators that way they have less reason to blow up on users.
