Skye River I have a degree in Graphic Design in 96' from Al Collins Graphic Design School in Tempe, Arizona. Even though I learned a bit, there were some things I wished I learned more about at the time. Right now, I'm taking up Computer Graphics here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I love the courses and the instructors here. Thank god I didn't go to the Art Institute in Henderson. At some point, I would love to attend SCAD down the road. SCAD is incredibly intense.

Going to a regular university at the moment. But then plan to go to an art school. Unsure which. I wish to be an animator and director.

I don't mind the challenge at all. There were so many slackers at the art school I went to. Most of them were in the morning classes since they would end up drinking or getting stoned later in the night.

I'm still in high school but I know I'm going to double major in communications and something art related.
Because I'm also looking into another non-artistic major, I've been looking at private universities with art schools or decent art programs within them, such as Lesley University, Suffolk University, Boston University, and University of Miami. However, my schools of choice areSuffolk or U of M.

You will loose so much sleep and sanity here. xD

No, not currently. Next year will be my first year of high school (grade 10) and I was accepted into an art program. I pretty much 'major' in art for the three years of highschool. Once I graduate, I get a fine arts certificate thing ahaha.
I'm sure what I want to be when I'm older. If I do pursue art I'm thinking about going to PNCA. But I still have tons of time to choose. :p

I can't help about colleges in USA, but in my place (Bs.As. Argentina) we have
IUNA (instituto nacional de bellas artes) Facultad de bellas artes (Universidad de Buenos Aires)
I never had art classes...a few back in school, but I've learned the most by practising and watching carefully details on the pics of my favourite artists on the web and books biggrin
goodluck!

I don't take art seriously enough to go to school for it, hahah. I'd go crazy with feelings of inadequacy, keeping it as a hobby means I can just feel pleased with myself whatever I do. xP
I take French and Music at uni, which is quite an odd thing to do in the UK - most people only study one subject, or if they double, do things that are clearly related. xP

I'm doing a lot of courses to get a Visual Communications degree. Would love to get out of the military and get a job in advertising.

I'm currently taking Multimedia Arts in the College of Saint Benilde. It isn't very good, and it isn't very cheap, but it's one of the only art colleges in the Philippines. : /
I'm planning on working right after I graduate so I can go abroad and major in Illustration.
