But God is not locked inside a cube either. Think of it that way.
Where did you get the box and cube idea from?

What kind of ridiculous question is that?

Do you not understand that God's works are mysterious, yet magnificent? You apparently do not understand when I say, "God is not inside a box or a cube."

IT means, HE IS NOT SHUT OFF FROM THE WORLD. Which means, He has the divine power to control, take away, build, and touch hearts whenever He desires. So you truly out someone's testimony because you do not believe, or your spirit doesn't believe? Which is it my friend, flesh or spirit? God didn't create us so we could live for the flesh, but live for Him, and allow Him to intervine in our lives.

In fact, ever heard of this: Walk by Faith, not by Sight.

This young girl, has no reason to lie. Why would someone lie about a testimony. Have you ever thought, maybe God shows different things to different people, for different reasons? Someone who has a vision, or experience doesn't make them a prophet, or false teacher. God uses people to help people BELIEVE because they DON'T walk by faith. People choose to only believe what they want these days, and as far as I'm concerned, God's already fed up with it. Soon, His wrath will be poured unto all the earth until it's too late. Basically, when you ask this, you make the conclusion that God isn't possible of doing all things. If God can create the Heavens and the Earth, and shake a mountain, and move mountains, He can sure touch a young girls heart.

I am not saying she porposly lied but some of the things the story said don't go with what the Bible says and also that God is not the only one that can show miracles and images

Revelations 13:11-14
11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

2 Corinthians11 12-15 (KJV)

12But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Matthew 24:23-26
23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25Behold, I have told you before.

26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

God tells us to prove everything we here

1 Thessalonians 5:21
King James Version (KJV)
21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

We do that by running new things through the scriptures if things don't put too much faith in it

Harold Camping said he knew the day of the Rapture and fooled so many because they didn't compare his words with scripture, Westboro Baptist Church followers go around picketing many things with God hates signs because they listen to a pasture and not Gods word.

I am not sure if she is speaking truth or being decieved but you can't go through the World believing every thing that says it of God in it and except it as that without running it through the Bible.

THE NOBLE BEREANS AND THE BIBLE
by Cornelius R. Stam
Printer Friendly Version
Many Christian groups and organizations call themselves Bereans, but it is surprising how few people know what a true Berean is.

The 17th chapter of Acts relates how Paul called upon his kinsmen at Thessalonica and for three Sabbath days "reasoned with them out of the Scriptures", trying to show them that Jesus was the Christ.

Steeped in their own religion, however, the majority were unwilling even to consider the truths Paul proclaimed. Indeed, they resented the fact that some did believe and, in their bigotry, "set all the city on an uproar". Finally Paul's life was in such peril that the Christians there sent him away by night to Berea, a town about forty miles away.

At Berea Paul again sought out his "kinsmen according to the flesh" -- and what a different reception! Here is what the record says:

"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so" (Acts 17:11).

These people did not immediately close their eyes to further light. On the contrary, they gave Paul an interested hearing, listening with open minds to what he had to say. But they were not gullible either for, having listened to Paul, they subjected his word to God's Word, searching the Scriptures daily to see whether those things were so. For this God called them "noble". They were the true spiritual aristocracy of their day.

We should all be Bereans, spiritually big enough to listen with open minds to the teachings of men, and then big enough to subject their teachings to the Word of God, the Bible, to see for ourselves whe-ther these things are so. Our Lord said: "Search the Scriptures... for... they... testify of Me" (John 5:39). As we do this we will find eternal life -- and more -- in Christ.

Why would the enemy send visions to make people believe that heaven and hell is real? Satan is a liar. Everything else you say is irrelevant because you aren't comprehending the entire point I'm trying to make. You are quoting scriptures to me that are irrelevant to this topic. You are basically saying, "God's power is only limited," when it's everlasting. Like I have repeated, several times to you prior: A vision DOESN'T have to be biblical, being it was HER own experience. GOD has the power to show anything to anybody as He desires. You apparently, have forgotten how powerful God is. That's the problem in the world today. People don't want to believe anymore, and God is tired of it.

But not everyone will go with the Lord, only those who are doing His will (Matthew 7:21) and living a holy life. For the Lord told me, "Only those that are holy will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, (Hebrews 12:14), No one knows, neither the day nor the hour in which I will go for My holy people, not even the angels know it." (Matthew 24:36)

Right there she said that only the Holy ones that did good works would enter the kingdom of Heaven but the Bible states

Romans 3:10-18
King James Version (KJV)
10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

11There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

12They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

13Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

14Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

15Their feet are swift to shed blood:

16Destruction and misery are in their ways:

17And the way of peace have they not known:

18There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Romans3:23
23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

John 6:37-40
37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Ephesians 2:8-10
King James Version (KJV)
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The Bible says any one who believes in him will be saved and risen up in the last days of the rapture but she says only the holy ones witch the Bible says none are holy

to me that sentence she made is more on trying to make people believe they have to work to be saved not Christ's sacrifice.

I don't know why you are so offended by my words and my use of the words of God but replying back with anger and saying I am understanding God's true power without any scripture to back up your sayings or who just tells me you lack the knowledge or ability to.

I will be praying for you that you will learn to treat people with different opinions with more respect instead of name calling and scorn and that God will help witch ever one of us is wrong to understand the truth and who is correct in this subject.

God Bless you my brother in Christ.

What you are doing is twisting the Word, and pointing fingers at me. It states in the Bible ALL are unholy. "Afterwards, those who come to Me shall be cleansed." There are many words for that. I can make a list.

Leviticus 10:10 - You must distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean.

1 Timothy 1: 9-17 - 9We also know that lawa is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
The Lord’s Grace to Paul

12I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. 13Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

15Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 16But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. 17Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrew 10:29 - How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

The Bible is stating that we are either clean or unclean. No one is perfect. God already knows there is no perfect person on this earth, or 'pure.' You are basically judging someone by their experience and one statement they make, when you of course misunderstand it.

Further on, no where have I scolded you with harsh words, or name calling. I can scroll up in this topic and reread what I wrote to you. No where do I see I called you harsh names. You can ask anybody in this ministry and they will tell you I am not like that. I'm trying to get a point across to you. I'm not saying you have to believe it or not. That's up to you, but you are taking things to heart. You are also attempting to argue with the Captain of the guild, which is rude of you as well. God's Word isn't built upon arguments and quarrels. The Word is True, and written, and cannot be destroyed. I put my heart and soul into this ministry and you are not about to defile it, with your hurtful words, saying I'm angry, etc; You can pray for me, but I already know where I stand, and that is with the Truth. If you aren't happy in this ministry, you do not have to stay. I'm not forcing you to stay. You can make your own choices. I don't make choices for anyone, just like Jesus our own Lord and Savior cannot force anyone to accept Him or not.

I saw people watching TV and magazines that read, "Thousands and Thousands have Disappeared." Many already knew that Christ had come for His holy people. Those who knew the Lord, but were left behind, went crying through the streets, wanting to kill themselves, but they could not do anything.

This story is fake! What have I told you about some things not going according to the Bible?!? I thought I already showed you multiple verses that explain the nonexistence of the Rapture!!!

This is exactly why you should not trust the Internet! I read a similar story to this, and not all of it seemed accurate to the Bible. For example, the story I read had Jesus showing a girl thousands of crowns and saying this was for the people that came to Heaven. That is inaccurate because the Bible said the Crown of Life were for those that die for the sole purpose of them being Christians. Your story doesn't feel right. I'm really worried about your gullibility to stories on the Internet.

Will I have to repeat this post again? Seems to me that YOU are preaching lies about the Gospel!

Copied Post:
Cappeh Sensai
It is written in the Word of God, that Jesus will ascend from the clouds and gather up His people in the sky. Biblically this means, "Rapture of His Church," but the word Rapture isn't used even though, it was given a name. People choose not to believe in the Rapture because of their lack of faith. Walk by faith not by sight. It's believing and not seeing. smile

In my opinion, it means after the Tribulation. May I have some verses from you that specifically talk about the Rapture, please? Where is it written? (I'm a Lutheran Christian, and Lutherans don't believe in the Rapture. We follow the Bible closely and teach directly from the Bible, not something spoken out of Man's mouth. We Lutherans believe the Rapture is Man's Doctrine and not God's Doctrine. Something the prophet Ezekiel warned us about: not to believe in things that are not according to the Scriptures. The Bibles in our church consist of the King James Bible, NIV, etc.)

Besides, if there was to be a Rapture, then all the Christians would feel "safe" because they wouldn't have anything to do with it and not have to prepare spiritually, mentally, and physically for the Great Tribulation soon to come. Because you refuse to prepare for something akin to the horrific Holocaust except like 10 times worse and against Christians, you're in for a huge blow. If the Rapture never happened, and the Tribulation loomed upon us, many many "close-to-God" Christians will surprisingly turn away from God, thinking the true way of life is a hoax just because the Rapture had not happened. Just a warning. If there was no Rapture, then the Tribulation would be a great chance to prove that you are faithful and a strong warrior of the Lord, fighting for Him to the point of death.

"Because narrow is the gate
and difficult is the way
which leads to life (in Heaven),
and there are few who find it.
~Matthew 7:14

Our faith will be sorely tested with suffering and sorrow during this life. I assure you, you will have a lot of pressure on you in the Great Tribulation. Our purpose of the Lord is to serve Him. If you have never been persecuted as a Christian, then something's missing. All Christians are persecuted some time in their lives (I'm 17 but have been persecuted immensely already). The Rapture kind of makes me think it's an excuse to avoid the horrors you will sooner or later have to face, a false sense of peace. (I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude, but I am a rather straightforward person trying to make my point. Please excuse me for it) The Tribulation is a test to see who the real Christians are. Many who currently say, "I love the Lord!" will betray Him later just like Judas betrayed Jesus before the crucifixion. Judas had absolutely no idea he was going to betray Jesus, and you have no idea either. Unfortunately, many Christians are going to play the role of Judas.

If you look in Revelations, you will notice that the Bible is warning you about the Mark of the Beast, something you will have to endure through these hardships among the ever-growing wicked, whether you like it or not. If you were to be Raptured, then there would be no need to warn us at all of The Mark of the Beast because "it doesn't have anything to do with us 'perfect Christians'". *Ahem* Remember the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector! The Pharisee was like, "Oh Lord! I'm so glad I'm not like this sinful tax collector!" Talk about arrogance! However, the tax collector prayed something like, "Lord, I am a dirty sinner, and I don't deserve your mercy." See? He was humble. And so, the Lord gave the tax collector tremendous amounts of love and mercy that was undeserved! Because the Lord is a merciful Forgiver. (parable spoken in my own words) Anyway, back to the subject of Revelation's warning. For example, these verses are a warning:

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.” This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
~Revelation 14:9-12

Read this quote again:
Quote:
This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
Look at this. It basically says, "Christians! You will need to patiently endure it and remain faithful!" It is very likely we will have to endure the Tribulation, not be Raptured. This is a test to see who remains faithful.

One of the Illuminati's many goals is to eradicate Christianity from the face of the earth and instill a new religion that worships Satan and the Beast. Apparently, there will be a lot of Christians "left behind" if that is one of the Illuminati's plans (mass genocide to maintain balance between the population of humans and nature; about 500,000,000 or less will be spared out of 7 billion people today according to the Georgia Guidestones)

You may have to review your Matthew and Revelation chapters again >.< because I keep finding verses that contradict the existence of a Rapture occurring. We all know (us Christians) that the Bible has NO contradictions whatsoever. So this cannot be possible. Dude, like, read your Bible! We need to know and understand the Word of God and not by false teachings as warned in Ezekiel. No matter how popular the belief, absolutely DO NOT believe without confirming with the Bible first! And yes, this includes the popular belief of the Rapture!

"“Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd,"
~Exodus 23:2

"So it will be at the end of the Age.
The angels will come forth,
separate the wicked from among the just,
and cast them into the furnace of fire.
There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
~Matthew 13:49-50

The verses above talk about the end of the Age "Judgement Day", because it is the separation of the wicked (nonbelievers and blasphemers) from among the just (believers). This verse reminds me of the parable Jesus told in Matthew 13:24-30, explaining Judgement Day because at the end of time, the believers will be harvested and the nonbelievers burned like weeds. Note that Jesus said specifically to gather the weeds and burn them before bringing the wheat into the barn (Heaven). The Rapture cannot possibly happen according to the Scriptures (it's impossible!) because that would be bringing the wheat in first when it was not spoken by Jesus in that order of what is to come.

The Parable of the Weeds

Matthew 13:24-30
Another parable he put before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field;
but while men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also.
And the servants of the householder came and said to him, `Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then has it weeds?'
He said to them, `An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, `Then do you want us to go and gather them?'
But he said, `No; lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.'"

Matthew 13:36-43
Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field."
He answered, He who sows the good seed is the Son of man;
the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom, the weeds are the sons of the evil one.
and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.
Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age.
The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers,
and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

If I had offended anyone, I am truly sorry because I am simply a direct person. I don't use the time to make things sound sweet, just give people raw facts straight out of my mouth. I know many people believe in the Rapture, but that doesn't mean the Christians who don't believe in the Rapture are not truly faithful. That in itself is a passive aggressive offense... You saying
Quote:
People choose not to believe in the Rapture because of their lack of faith. Walk by faith not by sight. It's believing and not seeing. smile
is a heavy blow to my heart (hopefully unintentionally) because you're technically insulting me. The smiley face emote at the end of your quote does not help soften the insult at all. Because I don't believe in the Rapture does not mean I am against God or anything of that nonsense. You forget that Christians, no matter what else they believe, if they believe Christ had died to save their sins on the cross, then you are automatically a Christian! This is what Christianity is all about (originally anyway): the belief that Christ died for you. Whoever believes that does not have a lack of faith.

Omg and this guy was so kind as to post this up.

Quote:
I will raise him up at the last day.

At the last day.

At the last day.

The Rapture doesn't happen at the last day. Only "before" the Tribulation. So, it would not make sense!

Cappeh Sensai, you understand that there is NOTHING here that talks about the Rapture? In my life, I have read the whole Bible four times, FOUR times, and there is NOTHING in it that talks about the Rapture!!! I never even knew about the Rapture until recently with the whole Harold Camping incident! And he was a false prophet, saying Judgement Day was to happen on so and so date. Harold Camping only confused the crap out of me, not helped enlighten me. Even though he was talking about Judgement Day, skipping the Trib and skipping the part about the moon turning red like blood, the sun darkening, and the stars falling from the sky, some people on the Internet were excitedly saying, "Yay, the Rapture is soooon!" And I was like, "wth? I've never heard of this Rapture. What is the Rapture? What's it about? I don't recall reading about it in the Bible... Hmmm..." Either those that believed Camping thought the Rapture was right before Judgement Day (skipping the Trib!) or they misunderstood Judgement Day as the Rapture. Either way, I felt really bad for them when Rapture/Judgement Day didn't happen!

Cappeh Sensai,

Exactly, Satan IS a liar! Which means Satan can send visions, too, besides God, FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF DECEIVING THE BELIEVER.

Quote:
you can't go through the World believing every thing that says it of God in it and except it as that without running it through the Bible.

Exactly! Don't just naively go believing everything that mentions God (especially if it's on the Internet!) because it could be to actually deceive you. Even pastors can speak falsely about God. You can't just go to church and believe what comes out of the pastor's mouth because pastors are just as SINFUL and HUMAN as we are! People say, "I'll never get tricked by the devil!" but you know what? Satan tricks them all the same! It's embarrassing how so many people don't check their Bibles for the truth before believing anything being said!

And... ugh. It's annoying how you say people "don't have enough faith" or "don't have any faith" when they disagree with you. So, from what I see here, everything you say is supposedly the Truth (without backup from the Bible!), and you are "always right" while everyone else is "wrong". You praise those that follow you and believe you like lost puppies but scorn those who oppose against you! Idiot! So, is it that everyone else is wrong and you're the only one that's right? Are you really an all-knowing "true prophet" of God? You see, when people don't agree with you word-for-word, you get angry about it, meaning that you're trying to force others to believe what YOU say and not what the BIBLE says! Stop trying to shove junk down our throats!

Of course there are Christians out there that argue about God! Mormons, Catholics, Calvinists, Baptists, Lutherans, Eastern Orthodox, etc. all have different beliefs about God and argue amongst each other. For example, Lutherans and Catholics absolutely hate each other because Lutherans believe faith is the only way to reach God and Catholics believe that besides faith, you have to perform good works to earn your way into Heaven.

You are so ridiculously narrow-minded, and you horrifically remind me of all the non-Christians and Jesus-haters I quarreled with! They are all so stubborn even if I spell it out for them as obviously as I can that God exists! You're the same way! UGH! I don't care if I'm acting rude 'cause you yourself are a hypocrite and insult others who don't agree with everything you say! Now sit down and read the **** Bible! From Genesis to Revelation!

But God is not locked inside a cube either. Think of it that way.
when he asked how do know it was true he wasn't saying God didn't have the ability to do it he was just asking how do we know that what she says is true and not made up to me by saying things like the top just shows me you can't back her story up with the Bible

I have a question if you believe in walking by faith why are you looking for signs like this story?

1 Corinthians 1:22-24
King James Version (KJV)
22For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

we are supposed to look for wisdom not signs but the girl prayed for God to show her something to help her out and God is not the only one that can show signs like Robotic Chewie already explained. As Christians we are supposed to read Gods word and rightly divide the truth. God gave us every thing we need to know in the Bible and warned that false prophets would come to try to fool every one to believe in lies. The young girl may have saw a vision but it doesn't mean it came from God before you except something as God's word you should compare it to scripture and if some things don't fit discard the new things and not ignore the old.

It's a choice to believe. When I say walk by faith not by sight, there are things God may want us to believe that we 'cannot' see. Ever thought of it that way? It's a choice. That's all I can say. Everybody chooses their own path.
