Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?
A few hours later, Kai law sprawled across a king size bed that was still far too small for him, snoring lightly.His mother walked in, hung over as usual, and smiled slightly at seeing how innocent he looked.He was always so serious or dangerous looking when awake"My sweet little boy..."She left the room quietly and then left the house altogether.

x x x x x Rich, Sweet, and Kind  Isabelle woke up, took one look at her eye and cursed.Another black eye..She put on some cover-up, knowing it would last until she got to school and got ready.

Kai woke up with a groan and sat up.Looking around his room he got up and pulled on a clean pair of jeans and a muscle shirt.Then grabbing his helmet off his dresser and headed for his first day at a new school.

x x x x x Rich, Sweet, and Kind As Isabelle arrived in school, the makeup now dissapreed to show her black eye. She slowly stepped out of the car, moving her hair to cover that eye. Another day , another date.She thought to herself silently.

Kai pulled his bike to growling stop in the school lot and pulled off his helmet.Looking around his eyes narrowed when he caught sight of the girl from the mall hiding her face Now why would she be hiding that pretty face, I wonder... He climbed off the bike and stood looking around for a minutes to take in his surroundings.

Kai caught sight of the black eye and let out a low growl of anger.He knew perfectly well how she'd gotten it, because he'd seen the same mark on his mother enough times to know Any man that strikes a woman should have the hell beatin' outta him.. He watched her silently, not caring if she saw him watching her.Tucking his keys into his pocket he grabbed his helmet off the seat for something to hold onto, so as he didn't end up hurting someone.

"Let go of me Mark, Everyone knows god damn well that im not your baby."She said as she struggled to free. "Ah, how about i make that other eye black too then?"He said as he raised his fist. "Haha, i'd rather if beat up the rest of my life then date you."With that he punched her again, until she fell on the floor. good night.. and she passed out.

Dropping his helmet, Kai made it over to Mark in less than six strides and, without warning, punched him square in the face.The grabbing his shirt so he wouldn't fall he punched him again, hearing the satisfying crunch as he broke his nose.He shoved him away from Isabelle, his vioce edged with a hint of malice "Your pathetic.You beat on women because they refuse to go out with you just because your bigger." He spat at Mark's feet "I see you lay another hand on any girl I'll kill you myself." And with that he picked Isabelle up and carried her into the school, heading for the nurse.

Kai looked up from the work he was doing when he heard Isabelle moving.Having already gone to the office and explaining why he'd done what he did, he was given permission to ait in the nurses office.He watched her quietly for a moment before setting down his pen and standing up "You feel alright...?" He felt horrible, knowing he could have stopped her from getting hurt if he'd just moved faster.

Kai nodded slightly and knelt down by the cot "I figured as much...And yeah...If your not used to having your face beaten in it feel like that for awhile...." He studied her for a moment before moving her hands so he could see her face "Your wont have to worry about him for a while though....Tell me if this hurts okay?" He touched around her nose gently, and then acoss her cheek bones, applying small amount of pressure, to see if anything was broken.
