When you guys finish making your characters then post their names and classes.
And you guys do know you could be a Nexu, or an Acklay, or a Friggin' Rancor.

We could be a Rancor but not a Jedi? How is that more balanced?
Doesn't matter - I'm going to probably be going soldier. Hence the roll for credits.

Bigger size makes for easier target, and it's harder for a character to explain themselves as a beast. Rancor's a challenge, but Nexu would have an easier time with that problem. But I actually did the stating, and a fifth level Rancor is less powerful than a third level humanoid character on all but Strength and Constitution. Melee it'd only be superior if using it's natural weapons, but it's not that much better there either.

I'll see what interests me... Not a fan of seeking someone out to train, nor rolling stats... Egh... So much dependency on what-ifs. Pending stats to see if interest remains.

I think I've got my crazy idea for a character nearly done. Let's see how I do for credits...
Since MythWeavers seems to be down, character will unfortunately not be posted soon.

So, how do you want to handle starting equipment and restrictions? As a soldier, I'd like to take advantage of my Rifle proficiency and general weapon and armor training, especially since I get shafted out of decent skills and don't even get a bitchin' lightsaber out of the deal, but they're all restricted or military grade except one friggin' rifle.
Not that I have that many credits to buy things anyway, thanks to my piss-poor rolls there, but I'd like to make the best of what I've got.

What are your feelings on Droid characters? Or on them using lightsabers

RP_Master_Jak Geez, those stats are fine... Don't know what his problem was. You may see it as fine, but I see it as s**t. Most monsters any PC will encounter will have a MINIMAL of 25 point buy Having a +2~+3 in my main stat, with a load of +1s is not my thought of "fun," but rather bland as commoner.

While those stats aren't terrible, I'd certainly not have bothered had I gotten stats that low myself. I'm personally partial to at least one 16 before racial modifiers, or I feel really crappy, to be honest.

Disciple) You don't have to pay restrictions on starting gear, and just buy whatever you want so long as you have the credits for it.
Ryu) Yes! Droid characters are fine so long as you follow the rules in the book.
Seph) Whatever go ahead and use the pre-planned generation rules or else just don't participate if that's what you want I really couldn't care either way.

Alright. I built a Droid before. Question on Stats. Is it dice roll only or do we have a point buy option. If so, how many points do we have to use.
EDIT: I'm going to scrap the Droid idea. I know what I want this time. Would it be okay if my character still has a custom combat droid? As her personal droid, of course.
