A rose by any other name... And yes, the 4kids version is terrible, but I'm talking about season zero. Season zero is the pilot season, if you will, and it is actually completely different from the later series because season zero only aired in Japan. (It's so much better, you have no idea)

Lolz, I read most of the origional manga, it was pretty epic if I may say so. I liked how it revolved around deadly games of any sort, and how Dark Yugi was, well, very creative in thinking up punishment. (The first game coming to mind was one involving knives and stabbing yourself in the hand, and one involving a scorpion in a shoe.) FMA is still my favorite though, regardless of violent Yugio.  (Best crossover pic I could find)

Hah, that's pretty funny. XD (And Seto's a jerk to Mokuba... He shows... zero emotion... even AFTER Yami mind crushes him...)
Also, I just watched an anime called Karin; known in Manga as Chibi Vampire... Wow... It was amazing! Aside from the episode about her brother's secret... That was kinda... well I don't know what it was, but it wasn't their best episode...
It's a story about a family of vampires with one peculiar family member, Karin. Karin love cooking with garlic, enjoys the sunshine and is always in a cheery mood (Very much unlike the rest of her family). She also doesn't suck blood, but rather, her body produces excess blood. If she doesn't inject it into a host after a long period of time, it escapes her body in a violent nosebleed. (It sounds weird, but when it gets explained in the story, it all becomes pretty clear)
What I like about it is that it takes the common knowledge humans know about vampires (can't stand garlic, can't cross water, are weak to silver and crosses, etc) and incorporates them into a logical version of the truth (i.e. why that common knowledge exists and how much of it is true). Also, the story does have romance, but it's not perverted (Well, aside from a few points... -.- But it really isn't that bad compared to others.) and actually has a lot of good moments to it (not so sappy that you think "I'm stupid for watching this"). Also, there are a lot of other side plots that occur and the characters, in my opinion, are pretty well developed. (Anju is my favorite character hands down. XD Episode 9... oh gosh that's a great one... I love how she's so devoted despite things not being in her personal interest...)

The saddest part of my life is that they don't bother to air anime where I live anymore. They back pushing it back and changing the flipping schedule all the time, then it just poofed. Best I have here is Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds (which I kind of like). e.e Even Shonen Jump has gone pretty darn stale since it's all freaking Naruto.
And now I'm gone. n.n

Lolz, I've seen my friends reading Chibi Vampire, and I got the basic gist of it, I think started reading it once, and I plan to look more into it. Its ok if you don't have anime, I reccomend reading Manga, that's what I do. You can find most series in libraries, or just buy them in bookstores, (or borrow them from friends.) If you on't want to do that, there is always... YouTube.
