Xenia grinned as she slunk out of the shadows of the slums and made her way towards the docks. Someone sat at her usual spot, and she could recognize it as Oak. The young demon creeped silently up to the soldier before slumping down next to her with a flick of her tail.
"'Ello Oak! I didn't know you came here!"

"Eh? Xenia? Oh, I don't usually come here, I'm usually all over the place looking for plants or somewhere on the other end of the dock. . .so what brings you here?"
After examining her cut, she tore a strip of fabric from the end of her shirt and wound it round her arm.

Mariana noted the vivacity with Seth and Jacob's calm demeanor.
Elizabeth held a glance to Jacob for a moment before turning her eyes away, back to her tea.
Lillian turned her direction to the two pirates and asked, "So, how long will you two be staying?"

"As long as you want me to, ba-"
Seth had begun with a cocky grin, but was interrupted as Jacob smacked him in the back of the head with his metal flask. Xenos snickered.
"We just need time... to buy back our boat..."
Jacob explained quietly as he sipped his drink once more. His companion snatched the flask from him and took a swig as well. The silver haired boy shot him an annoyed glance.

"Eh? But there's no plants on the dock! Your better off scouring the Graveyard District."
Xenia said with a frown. Her wire thin tail wrapped around her arm as she kicked back and forth, her legs hanging off the dock.
"I'm always here! Theres lots of stuff to watch; pirates, drunks, sea monsters...
She listed.

Lillian looked at Elizabeth as if asking a wordless question.
Elizabeth glanced at the two again before looking at Lillian. She lightly shook her head and Lillian nodded.
Armelia watched the conversation between her two sisters and pouted. "You're doing that thing again!"
Mariana just patted Armelia's head in an attempt to drop the subject.

The men watched on wordlessly, somewhat confused. Seth opened his mouth to ask a stupid question but stopped at Jacob's glare.
"Sooo... Where will we be staying?"
He asked sheepishly. Xenos stood up and straightened the lapels of his coat. He nodded to the women.
"I must take my leave now..."

Mariana stood as well. "I'll walk you out, Xenos." With that, she left the garden with Xenos.
Armelia stood up and stretched her arms. "I'll take you to your room. Someone just left yesterday so we have a good one open. Do you mind sharing a room?"

Seth smiled and stood up fluidly, Jacob followed somewhat slower.
"We don't mind at all! Back on the ship, we shared a room with twenty or so bilge rats!"
The pirate chirped happily. Jacob rolled his eyes.

Armelia led them to their room while walking backwards to face them. "That must have been terrible! How could you stand it?!"

"It wasn't to bad. Besides, if we had protested our pay would have been cut."
Jacob said pointedly. Their captain had been a strict man, and was quick to dock the pay of people who made life on the ship more difficult than it had to be.
"It was worth it to!"
Seth butted in.

Armelia smiled and had on a determined look. "Well, as long as it was worth it. There's no point in doing anything unless you enjoy it!"

"Oh? Are you saying seaweed isn't a plant?"
Oak laughed then did a double take.
"WHAT? SEA MONSTERS?" She nearly fell off the dock into the water/

"Have you ever sailed on a pirate ship, lil lady? Its the bes thing ever!"
Seth chirped. Jacob rolled his eyes at his flirtatious friend as he took a swig from his flask once more.

Xenia's tail darted out and coiled around Oak's wrist, as she pulled her back a bit from the edge.
"Yup! We have some sea monsters. Why do you think no one ever swims out here? If you stray to far out you'll get eaten!"

"Thanks, would've caught a cold if I fell into the water. Then again, I've been told the idiots don't catch colds so I should be fine!"
Oak focused her attention to a drunk man stagger across the dock.

Armelia nodded happily. "When I was younger my sister would take me with her on her ship when she went to other countries. I had a lot of fun." Armelia finally led them to a room on the third floor. It was a large room with the colors of red and black adorning it. There was a king sized bed along with two couches, one chair, a desk, and a full scale window that led to a balcony.
