I'm very sorry I got back to you this late. (I haven't been on Gaia lately... Heh...)

Even so, I fully agree with with Zelda (aka xDiCheyanneixD). I'd hate to see someone put this much effort into an RPG only to see it deleted. I love how you're incorporating Hyrule's history into the story and actually have a mapped out terrain. Those are somethings I wish the older ones would've had. (When those ends are loose a lot of people don't know where to start so they ask "Which map are we using?" or "When exactly does this take place?" ... It can get pretty confusing.)

So, accepted twice I guess. (Apparently we CAN do that! XD)

"One day we will be together once again... brother"

It was a cool summer’s day in West Hyrule, the Great Sea was clam and still but with many sea life visible looking down from the boat. Aryll felt the cool sea breeze blow on her face as she closed her eyes feeling it gently flow thru her blondish hair. The Hylain shield that her mother gave to her was kept on her back while she held her brother’s sword sheathed on her side. She rested her hand on the handle and smiled while looking out at sea. “Brother, I will find you.” She said with hope in her voice. She wanted to find her brother more than anything and she wanted to find him as quick as possible, but she knew that if she was rushing it would just make things worse for her and those around her. On the huge ship she wondered what her brother Link was doing right at that moment, if he was happy, and if he was thinking about her too. As she got lost in thought she began to think about the times she had spent with her brother and the memories they shared. Like when Link would practice with Grandfather in his sword training and Aryll would watch them both with excitement. Link rarely ever spoke to anyone but Aryll was the only one who knew exactly what he wanted to say, sometimes even before he knew it. She remembered all the times he snuck out of class with her to take pictures with his Picto Box that he had gotten from a travelling Goron merchant on the island. She always thought it was so cool and how it used magic to capture the image of things and people on the other side of the lens. But it disappeared the same time her brother did.

She snapped out of her deep thought when she heard her stomach growl in hunger. “I guess I was hungrier than I thought.” She said with a slight laugh coming from her voice. She gave one more glance at the sea before turning to walk down into the haul. Down below they had many barrels of apples and exotic fruits that the passengers were welcome to at any time. Aryll walked down the steps over to the closest barrel grabbing an apple and putting it to her mouth. As she ate her she couldn’t help but notice that they have had a pretty safe journey thru the Great Sea even though the monster population has increased in numbers a hundred fold. She just shrugged her shoulders passing it off as just luck. She looked down seeing a mouse sniffing around looking for food, Aryll walked over to it setting the rest of her apple on the floor near it. “I’m not sure if you like apples but I hope it helps.” She waved at it before leaving back up to the deck to look out at the sea once again.

But when she got up to the deck all the crew was running about falling over things as they were in a hurry and most were screaming orders. With much confusion she pushed her way thru to the captain at the wheel to ask him what was going on. The captain was a tall man who looked to be around his late thirties, he had black hair but not really that rough looking. “Captain, what is going on? I went to get a bite to eat below and when I came back everyone was like this.” She then noticed that the waters were not calm anymore and that they were pushing quite hard on the ship. The captain looked down to see Aryll giving a somewhat shocked expression. “Oi lassie, you ‘ave not heard?! A man had spotted what looked to be a Giant Octork just a wee bit ago.” He said in hast so he could concentrate back on the sea ahead. Aryll had never seen a Giant Octork and therefore wasn’t quite sure what to expect. She had seen a few of the small Octork wash up on shore sometimes on Windfall Island but never a Giant Octork. She looked around as everyone bustled around the ship loading the cannon in the front of the ship. Is it really that big? She thought to herself raising an eyebrow slightly. But not long after she had thought that had the beast leaped out of the water on the side of the ship standing just a little taller than the whole ship. It slowly wrapped its tentacles around the ship stopping its movement thru the water. The crew let out a yell at the shock and Aryll just let out a scream as the mass fell down almost crashing down on top of her. She opened her eyes after rubbing the dust out of them to see the crew trying to cut the monsters tentacles off to free the ship from its grasp. But the beast had many limbs, almost the same amount as it had eyes on its face. Aryll wanted to help but the creature wasn’t close enough to attack its body, if only she had a long ranged weapon. She then remembered her bow as she pulled it out holding it in front of her. I don’t have much practice with this… Can I really do this? She asked herself as the creature forced the ship lower and lower.

heart ((Hey all you cute rpers! I'm new here so please play nice k! whee )) heart

Aura was flying on her broom over the swamp that her and her two sisters lived. She had just come from the forest nearby to collect some herbs and plants for her potion brewing. Aura was a quite girl who only spoke when necessary, which was still very rare to hear her voice at all. Even though she was quiet she had powerful wind type magic that she could use as long as her magic power was replenished. She also rarely showed any emotion unless she can not control it. As she flew thru the air on her broom back to the tree house her sisters live in a huge bird with golden wings swooped in and attacked her along with two others. She flew as fast as she could but her broom could only fly so fast as a bird clawed her arm making it bleed. She stopped her broom in midair and stood up on her broom holding her hands out in the direction of the monsters. “… Giga Wind…” She said as wind like saucers flew right thru all three birds quickly with lightning speed instantly killing them. As they disappeared with dark flames from being destroyed she looked up at the sky in wonder, she knew the winds smelled more of evil. Aura knew it would not be long before the evil would meet them at their semi peaceful swamp. She rushed back at the house landing outside the house to wait for the others.

Fahrenheit was surrounded by close to fifteen Moblins and they were easing closer to her inch by inch. Fahrenheit was a hot blooded red head who was very direct in everything she said and tended to be quite mean and pushy to all those around her. She always spoke her mind no matter how cruel it would sound and would rarely apologize unless her sister Aura forced her to. She likes her freedom and just like the freedom she desirers she controls the dangerous and free flames that she controls with magic power. She normally will act without thinking and it tends to burn everything to the ground before she knows it, basic rule: just don’t get her mad. She was surrounded and she just smirked a very unpleasant smile. “Aahahaha! You idiots think you have what it takes to tango with me?! I am Fahrenheit the goddess of dance, let me step out and show you what a great dancer I am!” She grew a gleam and flare in her eye as she held her hand to the sky standing her ground. “Burn in the flames of hell! Omega Fire!” She yelled as a tornado of flames formed all around the area burning the Moblin’s up instantly but also torching all the plant life in the area. The fire ring pierced the sky above slowly coming back down dying. Some fire was still caught on dead trees that were burnt almost completely. She just laughed with her signature diabolical laugh of hers. “Aahahaha! Serves you right punks, I don’t hesitate to use my strongest of spells even on weaklings like you!” She looked around at the destroyed piece of land that had used to be plant life. “Man, if Aura finds out this was me she’ll cut me in two. Oh well, if blamed just lie, lie, and lie some more until proven guilty!” She had used up almost all of her magic power on that powerful spell, so she wasn’t able to use her broom so she started walking the rest of the way to her tree house. As she walked up she saw Aura standing there at the door giving Fahrenheit her usual icy stare. “Speak of the witch herself.” She mumbled to herself as she approached Aura. She looked around not seeing her other sibling. “Not that I really care, but where is the brat?”

Aura didn’t want to reply to a question that had such unkind phases in it and ignored the question altogether looking to see if their last sister was on her way. Aura knew how Celsius could be sometime and wondered if she would be okay on her own out in this new threat in the world.

Celsius was walking thru the woods carefree humming a sweet and colorful tune as she made her way back to the house. Celsius was normally very timid and shy around new people and didn’t like violence at all even though she was gifted with magic over the powerful spells of ice. She would rather talk out the problem rather than settling it with a fight. Suddenly a few Chu’s bounced out from a nearby bush startling Celsius as she jumped back with her hands to her face in a very girly pose. “Aah! Go away please!” She said scared of the small jelly type monsters. They oozed closer to her looking blankly at her with those creepy eyes of theirs. “Eww, please don’t. I wish no harm to come to you.” No later than when she had spoke, did a Chu came up from behind her and attacked her unguarded back. She fell to the ground with a scream of pain. “Nooo! My back, Aaaaagh!” She screamed as she got up running for her life to make it to the house with the Chu’s quickly following behind her. They were creeping up to her and she knew that she wouldn’t make it if she did not fight back. Celsius jumped in the air turning her body to face the Chu family holding her left hand to the monsters. “Please help me, Ice!” As she said these words the monsters became frozen solid and could not move. Staring for only a moment she continued to run to her house, not really good at flying her broom yet. As she ran up to her house seeing her two sisters she was at ease knowing she was safe now. “H-hello sisters.” She said with a sweet and innocent like smile.

Long, slender hands rested on the railing of the boat, fingers drumming gently along the smooth wood. A pair of icy blue eyes gazed upon the marvels of the sea, taking in its beauty. Lips parted, sweet music flowed:
"You must go where I cannot,
Pangur Ban, Pangur Ban,
Nil sa saol seo ach ceo,
Is ni bheimid beo,
ach seal beag gearr,
Pangur Ban, Pangur Ban,
Nil sa saol seo ach ceo,
Is ni bheimid beo,
ach seal beag gearr."

Mona blinked, a slight smile on her pale face. It was a tune from many years ago, passed down from generation to generation, through her mother's mouth to her memory. The song was threads of her childhood she grasped onto tight. She would not ever let its lyrics leave her memory.

Sailing away to a foreign land filled her to the brim with excitement. While she felt remorse for leaving her mother behind alone, she knew it made her happy. She shut her eyes once more, remembering when she broke the news to her:
"Mother, I'm going away for a while."
"Why is that, dear?"
"I'm going on the ship to the mainland in a week. You know how I am, I've been longing for the moment to explore a new place all my life, and the tickets in my hand solidify my dream. I love you with all my heart, but I know every nook and cranny on Windfall. It is time for something new."
"You're right. Goodness, I wish to come with you. But you must go where I cannot, now. I am not fit to venture across many lands like you are. May the goddesses be with you on your trip. I'm very proud of you."

Mona couldn't wipe the smile off her face. Things were running wonderfully in her life.
Her wonderful life, though, wouldn't truly begin until the boat touched land.
Boredom soon overcame her, and she ended up sitting on a barrel of pickled something-or-other, harmonica in hand as she scanned the passengers of the boat. If she saw someone looking depressed, melancholy notes would emanate from the little instrument. When a person merrily skipped along the deck of the boat with an idiotic grin plastered onto them she'd play a sillier little ditty. A girl around her age with blonde locks of hair headed down to the haul, and she began to play a more optimistic set of notes. This soon turned into a game for Mona, and it passed the time easily... Until everyone began running frantic around the boat.

Concerned, Mona hopped down from the barrel, stuffed the harmonica back into her satchel and tapped someone's shoulder. As she was about ready to ask them what was happening, her question was answered as the giant Octork flung itself onto the ship, violently shaking the ground. The people jumped into action, loading up cannons and unsheathing swords.
Mona had to help, she couldn't just stand there helpless. She pulled the bow from her back, along with an arrow. It was the only weapon she knew well, and her aim was certainly above average. Squinting one eye, she pointed the tip of the arrow towards one of the great beast's eyes, pulled back the string of the bow, and let the arrow fly in hopes of nabbing her target.

"One day we will be together once again... brother"

Aryll was running out of time, if she was going to do something she would have to do it quick. Aryll looked over at a girl, around her age, shoot an arrow from her bow hitting the monster in one of it's many eyes. The monster screamed in pain as it flung it's large tenticle at the girl crashing it down on the ships deck. Aryll then remembered she too had a bow. She quickly took an arrow out of her quiver putting it on her bow pulling the string back as far as she could. She closed one eye trying to aim at the Giant Octork that was bringing the ship slowly down. She released the arrow as it flew towards the monster but missed it completely hitting the water instead. I really need more practice with the bow. She thoght staring at the spot in the rippled water where her arrow landed. Once again she pulled her bow back aiming it at the beast for a second time praying that it did not miss. As she released the arrow it flew cutting thru the air piercing one of its other eyes. As it screeched in pain it shook the large ship uncontrollably. As Aryll rocked back and forth she reached behind her back in her quiver to get another arrow, but found that none were left. “Oh no, I didn’t buy enough arrows at the shop!” She yelled as she looked around trying to find what else there was to do. “What now?” She asked not really directing the question at anyone but herself.

Things got worse as the Giant Octork crashed around the ship with its large tentacles. It wasn’t just looking for a meal; it was looking for a buffet. Aryll desperately looked around trying to find something that could help until at the end of the ship she saw a huge spear gun. She ran up to it pushing thru a few men that were in the way as she grabbed onto the lever turning it in the direction of the Octork. “I’ve got you!” She said pulling the trigger firing the spear with the line attached at the monstrosity. The spear went thru its front attaching on the inside. Aryll cranked on the lever pulling the Octork tightly against the ship until its body was pressed against the ship's side. The monster thrashed its limbs around trying to brake free.

Now was Aryll’s chance to attack the giant Octork now that it was pinned to the ship. Aryll took in a deep breath exhaling slowly to find the nerve to do what she was about to do and even wondered to herself if she should go on with this plan knowing one wrong move could be fatal. However something was stirring inside of her giving her boundless courage, it felt like it was tugging at her heart to fend off this evil and save these people to the best of her ability. She quickly drew out her brother’s sword charging at the creature with hast in her steps, this was her only chance to make a move. She now knew thanks to that girl, that the monsters eyes were its main weak point and that they would need to be the spot of her attacks. She leaped onto the ships rail stopping no more than a couple inches from the edge thrusting her blade into one of the creature’s eyes turning it pitch black. The monster screeched in terror as it was attacked when Aryll pulled her sword out to swing her blade thru another one of its eyes leaving it with only one good eye left. When the creature saw her intent to attack its only good eye left it let go of the ship pulling the spear out of its body and sinking into the Great Sea eventually disappearing. The impact of the monster shoving the ship away caused it to sway back and forth throwing Aryll into the sea as she screamed for help. “Aaaagh! Someone help!” She said hitting the water on the side of the motionless ship.

Aryll bobbed on the waters surface trying not to swallow too much sea water. The first mate of the ship saw Aryll fall in after fending off the Giant Octork and thru the line out to her as fast as he could. After they had pulled her back on the ship the whole crew surrounded her as she lay on the floor, all of them wondering if she was okay. Aryll ruffled thru her hair sitting up trying to get most of the water off and soon looked up at the men. “Is everyone on the ship okay?” She asked with curiosity and a little worry. The first mate just let out a long hardy laugh and looked back down at her with a smile. Why is he laughing? Is what was passing thru Aryll's mind after his outburst. The man leaned down holding his hand out. “You just risked your life by goin’ head-to-head with a giant sea monster and winnin’, in doin’ so saving the entire ship, and you’re worried about us lot?” He let out a few more chuckles just thinking of it. “We’re fine little lass. But you got a lot of courage, something this world lacks these days. From the bottom of me ‘eart I thank ye.” As Aryll took his hand, the first mate helped the soaked Aryll to her feet as the crew clapped for their savior. Aryll blushed not really looking for so much praise for something she just did because it was the right thing to do. She just smiled at the men feeling that she had done a good deed this day. "Oh I wasn't alone, if it wasn't for that girl I wouldn't of found it's weak spot." She looked over at the girl who had helped.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 13, 2010 4:13 pm

Mona clapped as well, approaching the girl and hearing her words. She let out a laugh, glancing at all of the crew's faces, which were turned towards her now. "Me? I just shot its eye, you're the one that almost died trying to save the ship. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty much in awe at what you just did. By the way, I'm Mona. What's your name?" If they were going to be on the boat together for a while longer and they'd just battled a massive sea monster together, Mona figured they might as well get to know each other.

Fahrenheit just glanced at her sister Celsius with a pathetic look on her face, like she pitied her or something. Even though she knew Celsius had some powerful ice based spells, Fahrenheit also knew that Celsius was too timid to use them. “You look like dung. What happened to you couldn’t run fast enough for your life?” She said with sarcasm overflowing out of her words like a fountain. In most cases Fahrenheit only cared about herself and obtaining more power, and since her little sister would rarely use her magic Fahrenheit saw her as weak. “Well I don’t know what you were runnin’ from, probably something as weak as a Chu jelly or something. But I just kicked a whole group of Moblin a**!” She said putting her hands behind her head as she continued to brag about how many there were.

Celsius just hung her head kicking the ground lightly. She then replied with a soft tone of voice almost like a whisper, which this was how she normally talked to people. “Yes… It was a Chu Jelly. But there were a lot sister and I didn’t want to hurt them at all, so I used my weakest spell just so I could get away without harming them too bad.”

Fahrenheit paused her bragging and just stared at her with a blank expression. “You mean to tell me you found some Chu’s… And you didn’t get the jelly from them! Why the heck do you think we were searching the whole swamp for?! You idiot!” Fahrenheit yelled. The whole reason they were fighting all these monsters in their swamp as they walked thru it was so they could get some Chu Jelly for some potion making. Fahrenheit was starting to get red in the face just thinking about all the monsters she went thru just to find some Chu’s, and here her little sister found some but didn’t even get any from them. “Now one of us is going to have to go get them from the store in Market Town and it ain’t goin’ to be me!” Her voice seemed to get louder and louder as she carried on with it bringing her sister Celsius to tears.

Aura finally intervened with Fahrenheit’s little tirade. She spoke with no emotional change with a normal, calm tone of voice. “Calm yourself Fahenheit, she will leave to go to Market Town first thing in the morning. For now it is too late, come inside and let us rest for the night.” She said as she walked into their home.

Fahrenheit looked at Celsius with a mean look and went into the house without another word. She wasn’t about to start another fight now that Aura had got her word in. Aura was actually probably the only person Fahrenheit had ever respected growing up.

Celsius just stood in the front door wipping the small tears from her eyes looking up at the sky as a cool breeze blew against her soft, pale skin. She wondered if there were any more nice people out there like her sisters, even like Fahrenheit. She would love to meet them if the time ever showed itself. But the problem with that was she was always too shy to speak to anyone else other than her sisters. At that time you could hear Fahrenheit scream from inside the house yelling for Celsius to get her butt inside the house. “Oh, I’m sorry!” She snapped out of her wonderment running into the house closing the door behind her.

"One day we will be together once again... brother"

Aryll watched the girl walk up to her, she seemed nice enough. Then again Aryll was always trusting of people. She smiled sweetly at Mona as she greeted her warmly. “Thank you for your kind words, but I just did what anyone would do. I am nothing special. My name is Aryll, I was born and raised on Windfall Island…” She had just noticed that she had seen this girl before. This girl was also raised on Windfall Island, though the two girls had never met until now, which was odd since the island was pretty small. “You are from Windfall Island right? I remember seeing you a few times around the island.” She was now even more curious about this girl, she lived near her and yet she had never taken the time to make her acutance.

"... Ah! Aryll! Yes, yes, I've heard of you before. I was at a festival and someone pointed me out to you. Unfortunately I couldn't say hello, I was playing music for the first half and was whisked off to the stage before I had the chance. It was last summer I believe. Don't know if you remember, but it was a rather fun little party..." Mona glanced back at the ocean, as if she were trying to see whether or not they could spot their home from here. Of course they couldn't though, they were miles from shore.

In the depths of the swamp, an odd trio marched onward. A Moblin, a Bokoblin, and a purple colored fairy. Not many of the more "monster" races came through these parts, let alone with a fairy. The Moblin lead the way slashing through undergrowth with his pike whenever necessary. The Bokoblin followed the Moblin without even looking up from the map he was reading. The fairy, by the name of Octavius, looked over his shoulder worryingly.

Octavius finally spoke. "You're sure this is the way?"
"You're the one who gave us the map and paid us to escort you." The Bokoblin rolled his eyes, "So you tell me. It'd probably help if I knew what you were looking for."
"Oh, come on. Someone of my arcane expertise, traveling through the swamp with a withered map, especially with the rumors about three certain denizens?"
"Not ringing a bell." The Bokoblin replied, turning the map sideways in an attempt to make sense of it. "This map looks like it was scriblled by a drunk...Can you please just tell me what you're looking for?"
"Fine, fine, fine!" Octavius snorted, "Though I wouldn't expect you to understand. I am in search of unlimited arcane power! Rumor has it there's a trio of ancient witches lurking around this neck of the swamp, and a merchant I happened to run into had a map leading to their precise location. I will interview these witches and see what knowledge I can gleam from them."

An akward pause hung in the air.

"So this merchant just happened to have a map to their exact location?"
"Yes, though-"
"So why didn't he just take you?"
"Well, he, er...He wouldn't...I mean, why would he..."

Another pause, this time broken by a sigh from the Bokoblin.

"Look, I think you've been completely-"
"Found it!" The Moblin suddenly said, moving away the vines on the tree to reveal a small hut in the midst of a clearing.
The Bokoblin finally looked at Octavius. "Any chance the merchant gave you a description of what their place looked like?"
"Yes. He said they lived in an extravagent castle floating just above the swamp. Made completely of marble and held afloat by-"
"I'm thinking you should just try the shack. We'll stay here." The Bokoblin interrupted. "I'll tell you if I see a floating marble castle, though."

Octavius bobbed upwards and examined the shack. "Oh yes, please. I'll be back momentarily."

With that Octavius darted off towards the shack, leaving the Moblin and the Bokoblin standing there. They sat there, watching Octavius knock on the door by ramming himself into it.

The Moblin looked briefly at the Bokoblin, before speaking.
"Do you really think-"
"Nope."
"Then how come-"
"Because we're getting paid."
"...Oh."

"Wahh!!!" A small voice could be heard in the distance. A small blue light shot through the air, seemingly in a hurry followed by two Bokoblins wielding ragged and worn machetes. The surrounding was a lush forest nearing the lost forest where he was banished not too long ago; the faron forest. Hiding under a rather large leaf the small fairy took cover and watched as the Bokoblins attempt to track him down. The two enemies before him searched relentlessly for him before one spotted the small fairy. "Eeep!" He screeched before taking flight once more after a much needed breather to attempt to elude the hostile enemies.
The fairy had flown far as it's small wings flapped quickly leaving behind a small trail of sparkling lights, losing the two aggressive Bokoblins seemed to be a much harder feat than he had hoped. As hard as he tried to escape he wasn't very fast, and being that the two Bokoblins were larger they gained on him at an alarming rate. "Go away! Leave me alone!" He cried. The two hostiles snarled and growled as they closed the distance.
Now, figuring out that running away wasn't the key to getting to safety, he had to do what he could to fight off the two monsters. Though, he wasn't very brave, but possess some magicks that packed quite a punch, he was cornered and was left but no choice but to fight! "Alright! If a fight is what you want, then I'm gonna give you one!" The two bokoblins closed in and drew near him. The fairy pulsed and shone brightly. Ringing could be heard as it's body emanated sparkles and shards of ice. Sharp icicles were soon fired rapidly, pelting the two bokoblins in a hail of ice. Damaging them, one retaliated slashing away at the fairy, he weaved and dodged the ragged blade. Now rearing up, the fairy's wings flapped faster and faster and tackled the hostile with a head-on charge to the face as hard as he could muster. However, the fairy's attack presented a huge drawback against the bokoblin's large stature though he charged the bokoblin hard nearly knocking it down, the fairy became dizzied and vulnerable. Seizing the opportunity, one of the two bokoblins whipped out a empty bottle and captured the small fairy inside, and sealing him inside with a cork.
"Ugh... W-what? W-wait! What are you d-doing?! Hey! Let me out of here! Let me out!!!" The fairy screamed and thrashed against the walls of inside the cramped bottle. However, his efforts proved useless. The two bokoblins watched in awe and shock as the fairy thrashed about, wearing himself out the two laughed tauntingly. "S-shuttup! You just wait until I get outta here! I'll make you pay!" He huffed and puffed, but honestly, he didn't know what he was going to do. Since, he no longer had a home, or anyone to protect him, he was a goner. The two bokoblins made off with the fairy.

Returning to a small hut the bokoblins dwell on the forest's edge of the south of the swamp, the fairy was placed on display as some sort of trophy for the bokoblins. Sleeping for the time being, the fairy trapped inside the bottle flew inside, devising a plan to escape, or hopefully someone or something to come to his rescue... "What a real drag... Now what do I do? I can't fight off those bokoblins alone..." Following a long and distressed sigh, he'd hoped for someone to discover him soon.
