I honestly didn't even 'find' my favorite band.... My brother got the Halo 2 soundtrack for his B-Day one year, and they were on it. And to be honest, I didn't like them the first time I heard one of their songs. razz They grew on me, lol.

I grew up with alot of the older metal music. The newer bands that i listen to i either hear about on either facebook or i see a picture of them on a guitar website.
Well, when I was younger, and "Breaking the Habit" came on, I asked who did it, and I'd find out it was Linkin Park. Later, when I started being allowed on Youtube, I looked up their songs. : )
I also like Crush40. They usually do the Sonic the Hedgehog game songs. :3

My friend told me about a great alternative band. I've loved Coldplay ever since. biggrin
A friend told me to watch the video for the song "Helena" by My Chemical Romance because she thought I'd like the video. I liked it, so I checked out their other music. I've been hooked ever since.
