Mikau walked out of the deep, lost woods, not marked on any map, and only ever traveled by three, now four people. Only ever traveled by the mysterious, and some might say possibly evil Happy Mask Salesman, the skull kid before his unfortunate encounter and subsequent coma at the hands of Majora, Link, and now him. His recent life had become a massive wad of mysteries, the first starting when he woke up on the beach of Termina bay, after a period of time he was now sure he had been dead. The troubles in Termina, even with the pirates, had all ceased, and the Terminan's all said it was because of a green clothed boy, the exact same one he had seen in those last moments of his life, the one who had played that strange song, closing his eyes, letting him meet his band members, one last time, before passing on. That had been the best gift he could have hoped for, the chance to say goodbye to them, Japaz, Lulu, even Evan. His only real friends at the time. Then, when he returns, everyone greets him as though he had only been gone for a few days, not months. Many odd things happened, eventually culminating with the strange calling to go through the deep forest, all the way to its end, on some kind of journey. Sensing he had too, even if he didn't wish it, he had packed his few traveling possessions, along with some food, and after saying his goodbyes, set out once again. It had been sad to leave them all again, especially Lulu and her new babies, but it had been necessary...

He shakes of his reminiscing, looking around this new land, where he had never traveled before. After a moment, he hitches up his guitar higher onto his shoulder, and starts walking resolutely. What he needed to do would eventually become clear. Until then, he would walk. That town in the distance, with the castle in the middle, seemed like a good place to resupply and learn about this land while he waited.

Mikau was looking around, slowly taking in the lush, green rolling fields that he was walking through. So different from Termina, all of this... space. Termina was a fairly small country, mostly centering around the main city and a couple of small towns on the outskirts. To him, the major places were the city and Termina bay, which was his home still, even if he had to leave it from time to time for this sort of thing. He had lost his easy self confidence that he had had before the... incident with the Gerudo pirates. Dying did that to a person. Before, he had been confident in his own survivability, and in his ability in general, and it had shown in his open, happy and carefree nature, especially around the band. Now, he was more reserved and introspective, at least for now. Without the threat of death looming over him anymore, he was starting to go back to his old attitude, but was now able to get serious about major matters. It was a serious and, as he would learn, important development in his personality.

Link had been heading to the stable that Ilia had forced him to keep Epona in, when a man appeared out of nowhere causing him to jump back, putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. The man spoke identifying himself as Jesse. "What brings you here so late?" Link said defensively.

Galen glanced over at his fiance. Midna was deep in thought again. "Is something wrong, my sweet?" He put his finger under her chin. "You look anxious, troubled."

Galen jerked his hand back in surprise. What had happened in the past few weeks? Midna had been perfectly happy, then she began to get all upset at the slightest things lately.

Link caught the picture and glanced over it. "There is no one like this in the village," he said as he handed the picture back to Jesse. "What do you mean a different land entirely?!" Link asked, his voice full of excitement.
