Daniel "Danny" Charles Brown.
"I don't care for you, Yet I stick with you."  Daniel rolled his eyes at her dumb comment "Whatever...." he said and shrugged.He stood up and started to crawl out the window "Can you never be satisfied with just on things...now I have to go out in the rain just to meet you at the park..great...be lucky I love you." he said normally things like that would piss him off but he had to convince her anyway he could so she would get off his case about it.He walked to the park all wet as he waited with the gift and the mind to just say it and go home.He knew she would be a baby is this weather and he didn't care she shouldn't have asked to come out then.He sat on the swings and waited and wondered "Why here?"he could have easily gone to her house and said it but then again her mother hated him but he hated her brother he almost got into a fight with the b*****d once but Kas had stopped him from doing so.
"Oh well we will have to deal with it later."

 Kasandra 'Kas' Lee Silverton' I may seem sweet, but don't get on my bad side ''I hate everything about you...
Kasandra walked down the street, holding her umbrella tight. The thunder kept sounding. She thought about how Danny was so much like Thunder. Frightening, and life-threatening, yet amazing at the same time. She smiled as she saw him waiting at the swing set, and started to run. She stopped right infront of him, holding the umbrella over his head, and leaned in to give him a kiss, ignoring the bruise on her face. Plus, it really didn't hurt that bad anymore. She pulled away from his lips, and frowned a tad as she looked at his sour expression. "I'm sorry I made you come out here, but the thunder's been scaring me, and I wanted to see you," she said, shrieking a bit as the thunder sounded again. She then sat on the swing next to him, closed the umbrella, and pumped her legs some, so that she swung back and forth lazily. "So what did you have to say to me?" She asked, lookign at him from the side of her eyes.

Daniel looked at her and sighed "I....lOVE..YOU!" he said and looked at her as he began to swing as well "Why did we meet here...I could have come to your house...or is your brother there?" he asked.He looked at her swing her red hair following close behind he felt his lips after the kiss and it felt good strangely enough.He gave her the gift "There..." he said.
"Oh well we will have to deal with it later." (Sorry I had writers block)

Kasandra 'Kas' Lee Silverton' I may seem sweet, but don't get on my bad side ''I hate everything about you...
Kasandra smiled, hearing as he shouted the words again. It made everything bad seem better, even the rumbling of the thunder. She still jumped as she heard it, but didn't shriek like normally. "I love you too, and I have for a while," she said, smiling. She shook her head, still swinging gently. "My brother had just left... I... I really just wanted to see you, and you know how much my mother hates you." She frowned as she said the word hate. She didn't like how much her mother hated Danny, but they did get into physical fighst quite a lot, and she was just worried. She looked at the gift he gave her, holding it up to her face as she looked at the little charms hanging off it. She slipped it onto her wrist, and shook it, watching as the silver glinted. She then looked at Danny, stopping swinging, and smiled wide. "Thank you so much! Now I can have a constant reminder of you," she said, as she just gazed at him.

Daniel looked over at her and sighed "Whats your point...the teachers hate me and that doesn't stop me....well why did you ask me to pick you up." he said and looked at her "And I know this is the first time I have said it...as you should have known." he said he started to swing back and fourth "The way we have been going a constant reminder might not be a good things..." he said and sighed he looked at her and shrugged "I am sorry...I am not making anything better." he said and shrugged "Remember this is rare so don't expect it all the time..." he said.
"Oh well we will have to deal with it later."

Kasandra shook her head. "But I don't like my mother being upset." She said slowly, as if he didn't comprehend very easily. Which, in her eyes, he didn't. She shook her head again, ignoring his last question. She smiled sadly at what he said. She knew it was his first time telling her he loved her, and that made her upset. If he did, than he should have said it earlier. Maybe then they wouldn't be lashing out at each other. She sighed, and nodded her head, looking down at her soaking wet lap. "No, it's not a good thing..." she muttered. She wanted to say more, but she wasn't going to. They had already been in a fight, no need to get into another one. She twitched as he said not to expect it, and ground her teeth together. "I honestly wasn't expecting any act of kindness from you at all," she said, pouding each word out. She didn't understand how hateful he could be sometimes, but tried her hardest not to let it bother her.

Daniel looked at her "My dad told me if you like the way you are...act that way but try not to let it ruin your relationship." he said and shrugged "He also said be kind at least some times...I want so bad to be like him..." he said "After all my mom certainly is someone to look up to..." he said

Kasandra felt her anger flare. "But you aren't your own person! You've molded yourself after your father, and look just how far that's gotten you!" She said, gripping the metal tight with her hands, her eyes closed as she tried to calm down before it turned into something. "Why do you want to be like him, Danny? He's not good news, and yet you look up to him with a gleem in your eye." She said, as she looked up at him, and you could see how much she was trying not to get angry. She sighed, and lifted her face up at the rain. She didn't want this to happen.

Daniel looked at her "Because he was the one who raised me...my mom cares nothing for me not even when I was a baby...There was always someone else there for me no one stuck around until he came alot he raised me played with me." he said and stood looking at the rain "He like me was a bad boy and fell in love with the hard working girl.." he said and turned about to walk home "There love fell apart like this one is starting too..." he said and started to walk off "Not like you understand that anyway.." he mumbled to himself.

Kasandra listened to him, and let out a sigh. Maybe she was the one who was killing the relationship. She was just so fast to make judgements. She let out a sharp laugh; and everyone thought she was so nice. She shook her head, her eyes closed, as she fumbled with the bracelet around her wrist. "I'm sorry Danny. I'm horrible, I know it," she said, even though she didn't want to. She didn't like admitting that she was bad. But, she knew she was. As he started to walk away, she jumped up off the swing, and wrapped her arms about him, hugging him from the side, her face buried in his arm. "Please, I'm sorry, please forgive me!" She said, raising her head to look at him as she pleaded with him. Thunder sounded loud, and she jumped, burring her face in his arm again, gripping the wet clothes that stuck to him. She didn't care if she was acting like a baby.

"I don't care for you, Yet I stick with you." Daniel looked at her and smiled laughing and went home now he could sleep peacefully as he walked to his house which wasn't to far. He got in and changed his cloths and sat on the bed before lying down closing his eyes and going to sleep he was really tired and he was still suspended but he didn't care.He looked forward to seeing her though but he really wasn't going to change.

"No." Kasandra said, as he tried to wiggle from her grasp. She wouldn't let go until he said she was forgiven. When he finally did, and pushed her from him, she smiled a bit. She smiled larger as he called her a baby, because she knew that was what she was... At times. She hugged him again, her face pressing against his chest, before pulling back, and nodding. "Okay." She nodded, and went back to the swing set, grabbing her umbrella. It was usless now that she was soaked to the bone, but she opened it anyway. She started to walk away, but turned to make sure Danny left too, and waved to him, before continuing on her way the home. 'From now on,' she thought, 'I'm going to try my best.'

Kasandra sighed, as she walked up to her house, and saw her brother's car there. Somehow, he had already gotten back. Odd, he usually stayed out longer. Opened the door, she was instantly hit with the overpowering smell of beer and pot. She put her umbrella away, hung up her coat, and made a mad dash to her rooom. She slammed it closed, locking the door, before her brother could get to her. He always tried being soo friendly with her when he was drunk. She hated it. She got on warm, dry clothes, and snuggled up into her bed, her head under the covers, as the thunderstorm continued outside. She felt herself giggle, as she snuggled with a pillow, the bracelet in sight, as she thought about his words. 'I LOVE YOU!!' Yeesh, he was such a jerk about it. She soon drifted into sleep, the sound of drunk laughter and his voice in her heead.

Daniel slept in piece until the next morning where his suspension began right when he got into school and even there he planned to cause some mayhem.He hated this place and wanted out odds are his record was going to keep him from going anyplace good after highschool and he was by other kids opinion most liley to be arrested ubt he payed on neverm ind besides he was making a few a's 3 c's and a fe b's in all of his classes.

The storm, her brother, and worring about Danny kept Kasandra up almost all night, but she found some way to drag herself to school. Well, dragging herself is not the right term. The red head was bounding with endless energy as she walked to school, the bracelet on her wrist glinting in the sun. Why was she so happy? Because of what Danny had said last night. Despite the still rather large bruise on the side of her face, she was back at herself, with a bit more bounce. She bounded into the office, smiling and waving at the secretary, and into the room Danny was. Visitors were allowed during the morning, lunch, and after school. She was one of the very few visitors, and even the others didn't come in as much as she did. She bounced right up to him, grinning wide. "Good morning Danny! Sleep well?" It was the normal exchange of words, but there was more happiness behind them. She saw a few students glancing at them, wonderin what the hell was wrong with Kas, probably, considering she had been punched in the face by the boy, but now she was back, and happier than ever.
