"One moment please. . ." Lukas stated with a sad face.
He was gonna have to take one third of his payment out of his recent balance.
"I hate spending money on stuff i neeeed"
Lukas paid the cashier and was very curious.
"So what kind if Hybrid are you Tiny? I mean you seem to be pretty,umm whats the word,..oh, high spirited."

Xenia spun around angrily and glared at him.
"Hybrid? Are you IGNORANT?! I am a DEMON,descended from one of the original fallen!"
The girl growled at him and flicked her tail.

"Well I should have seen it, but you gotta admit you aren't the most common of all demons. A where I come from Hybrids are more common than demons.I did think there was something off about you. . ."
Lukas studied Tiny as he took the brown paper bag from the cashier, who made an attempt to try and go to the back room and still be within earshot of the conversation.
"Who are you descended from?" Lukas asked as he eyed his new 'friend' Tiny curiously.

The girl rolled her eyes. Why had she not seen it before? This boy was obviously an outsider. Everybody knew who she was descended from; he was the mayor now,the head of everything. The only authority the mafia boss had to bow down too.

Xenia twitched at the thought of the irritating man.

"Don't ring a bell." Lukas stated as he realized his cover was blown.
"I mean I uh OH w-wait the DEMON?..ohh I thought you meant the,uhh uh th erm shoe..maker . . ."
He hated his bad lie.It sounded like a bad lie even to him.
'This girl couldn't possibly know EVERYONE in this town.No one can.Maybe there IS an shoe maker in town with that name' Lukas thought to himself.

"Well, yes and no. I'd rather go unnoticed by anyone because I've just always been an 'oddball'."Lukas looked away and continued.
"I just happened upon this town. I stayed because every where else I lived,weird stuff would happen.Partly because I can't control my magic very well, but other than that I can't explain very well. Plus I've just liked it better here.But being a scrawny guy the only thing I can do physically is run and you guys do have big bad mean looking people here."
A kind of quiet settled.So Lukas felt the need to blurt out:"My feet are freezing"

"Hmmm~ So what your saying is that your magic sucks balls?"
The mafia boss laughed and shoved her hands in the pockets of her capris. She wandered ahead of him thinking. Maybe she could help him out with his defected magic. After all,she had already graduated from the nearby institute. Second,he was scared of the people in Ethon? How silly! There were only thugs,demons,mobsters,werewolves,zombies; the list really went on and on.
"Why don't you join the institute for modern magic than?"

Xenia stared at him strangely for a moment,before seizing his arm and dragging him in the direction of the institute. She gripped his wrist and laughed.
"Your so stupid. If you can't do magic,a person like you is gonna die!"
She laughed boisterously and stopped at the door of the whimsical institute,before kicking it open and throwing the man in.

"BUT I CAN DO BASIC MAGIC JUST FINE! I ALREADY WENT TO NORMAL HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE!!!! I DON'T WANNA GO BACK!!!!!NYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!! I HAVE MULTIPLE JOBS THAT MUST BE DONE!!!" Lukas kept his whining.

The girl rolled her eyes. And people said SHE was a child? This man was ridiculous! She helped him up pushed him out of the institute as she closed the door behind them.
"Fine! But remember...I know where you live."
The girl jabbed him in the ribs sharply,and walked away. Two mobsters slipped out of the shadows nearby and followed after their boss.
