Schwarzkatze LouisCyphre13 I hope BloodReign is better... Bloodrayne... uwe boll... house of the dead. Need I say more? smile I hate boll and wish someone would just shoot him already. I just saw BloodReign...It sucked balls...an they were nasty.

I just got back from going to see Hostel. Actually I went to see Tristan & Isolde, but that was such a dreadful movie that I left halfway through. So I missed Hostel's pornographic beginnings, but witnessed the gory finish. It's unfortunate, because it could have been so much better. Tarantino was presented with a genuinely horrifying concept: people paying money to torture and kill other people. He could have created a total psychological ******** out of it, but instead we have another B movie. Bad cinematography, idiotic dialogue, porno fanservice, and cheap gore. It could have been scary, but it's not. Take away the shock value, and there's nothing left.

Wow.
How did I ever miss this thread? Anywho, I hated the movie. Astarii pretty much summed it up perfectly.
