Haha I know this isn't what you expect to hear, but my flatmate just walked in on me reading your thread and all he could see was the title, not your username or anything. I think he may have gotten the wrong idea xd
Congrats on coming out though! It's awesome that you decided you shouldn't have to meet society's views on what's "normal", I'm proud biggrin

Being open about it won't change you, and shouldn't change the way people act around you (and if it does, kick their asses to remind them that gay =/= effeminate hairdresser). Congratulations on your announcement - and I hope they'll hurry up and repeal DADT for your sake. (Even though it was my get out of jail free card in case they ever activated a draft XD)

DADT is the most idiotic thing in the world. They got rid of some of their best people with that piece of garbage.
