The man's eyes widened as he was blown backward, coins and papers, as well as some stones fell from him, as well as a key. They all landed in front of her as the man stumbled and fell on his back. He reached for where it impacted, he was wounded,"...What?...this kid...no...." he growled. He got to his feet and kept his hand on his wound, "...You little brat! Im gonna have to teach you a lesson after all....probably the last lesson you will ever learn, you worthless urchin!" He growled, reaching into his coat and pulling a dagger. He looked at her with a twisted grin,"...Time to put you in your place..." he whispered coldly.

 x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira laid there, winded from the sudden blast she caused as well as the bouncing. She awkwardly got up to a sitting position, looking at the stranger in front of her. He looked angry, that was obvious. She hurriedly looked at the contents around her, there was a key, and a strange padlock on the wall a few feet away from her. It seemed to be chaining something.
indentThe stranger was coming towards her as she bit her lip. No telling what would happen. She raced forward, grabbing the key along with a few stones. She turned towards the padlock, nearly slipping on a piece of paper as she raced over. She tossed a stone, aiming at the guy's head as she fumbled with the key. The lock was old and worn, as if no one had touched it in a while. And it took a great lot of strength and precious time as she struggled to unlock it.
indentBut soon it fell open with a resounding click as Akira scrambled away, a few stones still in hand for her needs as she tossed another one, aiming for the hand that seemed to be covering a wound on the man.
" Please work!! "

The stranger's head was struck with the stone, he grimaced and stumbled slightly,"...Gah! why you!" He hurried his pace but then he was struck by another stone on the hand, he clenched it and let go of his wound, he glared wildly at the girl, "....Im going to break you girl!" he snarled, he reared back and flung the dagger toward her like a dart, intent on piercing her.
....The padlock struck the ground, making a clear sound as it landed...
The chains began to fall to the ground, one by one and then some whipped out of the way as whatever was held in the bindings, lunged out of its prison, A dark shadow flowed in front of the child grabbing the knife in midair.
The Man stood back, but before he would react the shadow whipped the dagger back towards him, striking his wound. While the man was stunned, The shadow lunged forward and threw him out the door. Several other men heard the commotion and saw what was going on, shouting was heard just outside....
As everything began to slow down the shadow turned to the girl,"...Stay close...If you want so see the next day.....you won't fall behind..." he said quietly.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira had backed up into the wall again frozen in place again at the dagger flew towards her. Then the shadow flew out in front of her to throw the weapon back to the owner in a rather painful way. She looked surprised at the shadow being that she had just released.
indentHe turned around to look at her as she stiffened, wondering if it was going to attack her as well. but no, he just offered her a chance to escape with him. She gave a nod, not knowing how to escape this place at all, at least, not on her own

 Katsu nodded,"...Lets go..." he said calmly. He stepped forward, and two men rushed into the door, Katsu lunged forward and slammed into the first one, the other attacker looked at the opponent stunned,"...He....he got loose!" he shouted shakily. Before he could do anything else Katsu threw the first attacker into his partner, slamming him against the room's wall, Katsu ran forward towards the exit, another attacker stood in his way, Katsu reared back and unleashed a vicious punch, stunning the enemy, and then quickly followed it with an uppercut, sending him into the hallway. He looked side to side and turned left running down the hall.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira stuffed the stones in her hands into her skirt pockets, picking up some more as Katsu dealt with the two men at the door. When he left however, she ran right after him, occasionally looking back to see if they were being followed. Luckily they weren't but she had to dash in order to keep up with the larger man, two steps for his one.
indentShe managed to follow him, but started lagging when they got down the hall. He was too fast for her, and she was rather worn already from keeping up as well as the strong magic blast she had made earlier. When they got to the end, she leaned over as she put her hands on her knees, gasping for breath as well as for desperately needed water, having drunk nothing earlier that day.
" Amazing....this guy.... "

~Katsu Mitsurugi~Katsu looked behind him to see if the girl was still behind him, she was barely keeping up, however she was still close, he turned back as several more men appeared at the sound of the distress, Two of them came after him bearing weapons, one had a sword and the other had a chain, Katsu went after the one with the sword, the attacker lifted the blade and swung in a powerful slash, Katsu sidestepped the attack and lunged towards him, driving his knee into the swordsman, he followed the assault with two more punches,sending the the attacker to the ground.
Before Katsu could turn, the chain came flying towards him, wrapping around his neck, Katsu stood planted to the ground as the attacker pulled on the chain, tightening the bindings. Katsu pulled back on the chain, pulling the attacker towards him. Katsu dealt a vicious headbutt towards the stumbling man, stunning him, Katsu finished him with a roundhouse kick, sending him into another onlooker.
Katsu Turned to look towards the girl, she was still safe. Katsu turned back to the fight, just in time to see two more chains flying towards him, binding each of his arms, He saw another grab for the chain hanging off his neck, they were trying to restrain him again, several more rushed in to hold onto the chains as Katsu tried to overpower them.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira stood up again in time to see Katsu stuck with more chains. Thinking quickly, she figured getting the ones at his neck so he could use his arms safely. Running under one of his trapped arms, she tossed a stone at the guy's head before purposely running into him at top speed to knock him, and anyone else behind him, over.
indentNow holding the heavy chain, she went back to Katsu to dislodge it from his neck. Swinging it around, she managed to make one end catch a guy's leg, who so happened to be holding down one of Katsu's arms. She originally wanted to just swing it around due her tiredness, but she ran around them instead, tightening the chain as she went. They luckily, let go, allowing Katsu to use the free chain on his arm as a whip or so.
indentThere were a few calls among the men, "Get the girl! She's helping him!" Before Akira could do anything, someone managed to grab her around her neck, one of the new people coming to help. He swept her off the ground and shoved her into the hallway wall as she started struggling. She scrabbled her hands against the larger man as she desperately tried to breathe.
indentWeakly, she flung her hands out towards the man as another magic ball, crackling with energy, hit him square in the chest, and anyone else who was behind him, which was conveniently the other men holding down Katsu's other arm. Now free, she crashed to the floor, gasping for air and tiredness, having thrown what energy she had into her latest magic blast.
" Two blasts.....in one day.....I don't think....I'll be able to do....anything more..... "

~Katsu Mitsurugi~Katsu looked on as the girl worked desperately to free him, he snarled as they fought to keep him held down, but soon as they lost strength in numbers from the girl's actions Katsu was slowly regaining the upper hand. He saw the girl fall to the ground, He did not waste any time, he kept the chain wrapped around his hand, he whipped it forward taking down the opponents rushing him. He made a dash towards The girl, as another attacker began to move towards her, he readied his chain and sent it spiraling towards him, it wrapped around him and whipped him backwards towards the Enraged Katsu, as he flew towards Katsu, Katsu himself was rearing back for a vicious strike, as the two collided, the attacker began to bend backwards, from the force of the attack, and then was sent flying back, Katsu then tightened the chain and spun the disabled attacker in a circle, taking out what was left of the mob, and finally let the weight at the end of the chain fly, slamming him into a wall. He rushed towards Akira and scooped her up in his arms. He slid to a halt and then began running down the hallway, making several turns, barreling past a few attackers every so often.
Soon they made it t what seemed to be a lobby for this large mansion, and a large man covered in armor confronted them. Standing behind this behemoth, was a sinister looking man, he did not look too old, but he seemed rather pale,"...You have caused unnecessary trouble in my home...and now you want to steal what is mine?....No...there shall be repercussions for this foolishness....crush them both..." He said simply, walking away.
The Warrior simply lifted its massive ball and chain and hurled it at Katsu. He dove out of the way and rolled a short distance, "....Child....can you still move?...I need you to hide...freedom is only a few feet away..." he said calmly.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentAkira was trying to at least get to her knees, but it seemed as that feat was too much for her. She lifted her head in time to see Katsu use the chain to throw a guy into a wall before picking her up to run down the hall. She rested the side of her head onto his shoulder, feeling embarrassed that she had to be carried this way as she stared bleakly into her lap.
indentSoon they arrived at the lobby of the building with just one more opponent away from freedom. He dove away from the incoming attack before asking her if she could find somewhere to hide. Hide. Now that was something she could do. She nodded weakly as she slowly stood up to survey her surroundings. Apparently, the warrior in front of them had other plans as he dragged his weapon back to throw it again at the two.
indentAkira wasted no time as she dove, or rather fell, behind the counter, where she found a few cardboard boxes under the desk-platform. Crawling among them, she found an empty large one as she proceeded to climb inside. She nearly crashed into it as she fell on something hard on her back. Biting back a cry she reached back to see what it was, curling into a fetal position as she did so. 'A bag of gold? What's that doing here?' she thought as she felt the coins in her hand.
indentShe wasted no time as she pulled the pouch from under her shirt out, to stuff the slightly smaller bag inside and tied it shut. As she slipped the bag back where it was, she laid there as she listened intently for the noises outside. Or at least, she tried to, it was a bit difficult not to fall asleep.
" OW! My back....it hurts...... "

Katsu nodded as he saw the girl run for cover, to tell the truth he was getting tired, however he knew if things went south, she had enough space to dash for freedom.
Katsu rushed the large armored figure with a barrage of attacks, unleashing a devastating chain of punches, digging into the heavy metal. The person watching them fight was shocked,"....How?...so its true...we were so close....those fools thought we would bring him back so easily?....I have no choice but to end his life...this deal no longer stands...Kill him!" he roared. The Warriors eyes seemed to come to life as it drove its shoulder into Katsu, sending him back, Katsu slid to halt, however he quickly dove as the ball came slamming down with great speed. It rose again and The warrior swung it in a full circle, it was heading towards the girl's hiding spot, Katsu did not dodge the next attack, Instead, he braced for the impact and grabbed the incoming attack, Katsu was pushed back several feet, He reared back and sent the ball flying back to its owner. The Warrior deflected it, but was stunned. Katsu was close behind and took his chance, he focused his strength into one more strike, slamming into The warrior's helm.
Everything was silent for a moment and then the warrior simply fell to the ground. Katsu turned to the one pulling the strings, he was already running, trying to flee. Katsu was about to rush after him, but he paused, he looked towards where he saw the girl hide, he knew he had other priorities. He let him flee, and went towards where he saw the girl last,"...Child?...are you alright?...The battle is over..." he said calmly.

x x xAkira KusanabeindentDuring the battle, Akira had felt something fall on top of the box she was hiding in. Unsure, whether someone had purposely dropped it or it fell on top, she clamped a hand over her mouth just in case it was a person.
indentSoon, all sounds of battle stopped and faded away, and she soon heard Katsu say that it was safe to come out. She reached up but found the top sealed with something heavy. Pushing upwards, she noticed that half of the box was covered with something. Feeling a bit frustrated, she rammed herself into the side of her current hiding place.
indentShe heaved a sigh as she continued, was this even the right side to ram? Cardboard wasn't even supposed to be this strong! ...Right? Uncertain anxiety settled in as well as panic, maybe claustrophobia? She wasn't sure, but she rammed hard into the side, causing the box to roll out, and her with it. She fell out as the box continued on, she let out another sigh of relief.
indent" Next time, I'm going to avoid hiding in cardboard boxes... "

~Katsu Mitsurugi~Katsu was finnaly recovering from that escape, he was glad it ended that soon. He noticed a box moving around, he remained alert. Katsu simply watched as the girl rolled out of the box, he looked at her with some relief, "....They are gone..." he said simply, he looked at her once more and then headed out the door, without another word.

~Katsu Mitsurugi~Katsu kept along his way, he knew the child was silently following him, however he did not acknowledge her, he heard her begin to speak, she was thanking him, he stopped and turned to face the child,"...Well...you freed me from that prison...I led you out and defended you...I would call that even...I bear no Ill will and am not holding you against yours...you are free to go home now." he said calmly, he did not want the child to think she owed him anything.
