Lucky you, In Illinois you can only see stars and they aren't very interesting.

Sure they are stars are fascinating! xd let me point out the astronomy guild link in my sig. Their are so many different kinds of stars and all the elements heavier than hydrogen are made inside stars, take for example the gold in the engagement ring was forged in a stellar explosion. The iron in our blood and all the other elements in the body zinc, calcium, carbon, and so on. Pulls stars are always changing If we look at our own star we can find something new every 5 minuets! And when our sun dies it will end its life as a white dwarf it will compress its carbon to form a diamond core, the sun will be memorialized in a huge stellar diamond.
